we were here September 8 and 9. received very kindly. it was quiet and could choose one of the many beautiful large places. paid 44 euros for two nights. very nice big outdoor pool. sanitary facilities simple but neat and clean.

returned after four years. still a great place . everything is there and free on the electricity after 3 euros. nice wine tasting and nice wines for a great price

on the camper place itself is nothing to criticize. however we were there on Friday September 2nd and at 1900 hours a loud disco with house music started in a restaurant across the street and lasted until 1 am.

nice place for a (free) overnight stay. no amenities. the food was mediocre in the cozy restaurant, but the dessert caramel with chocolate and ice cream was top notch. we were here on saturday and they are open on weekends.

camping looks great. but the access from the main road is very narrow and dangerous. max access 3.5 tons. Competitors with a long and low back can also have problems. alternative is 300 yards south at the Drovers inn. great old pub/restaurant where you can stand for free if you eat there. The food there is top notch and cheap.

great place for an overnight stay. during the day many cars, but after six o'clock they are gone. there is a sign no overnight stay but we were there with five campers. no problem.

sorry for the previous update. the nice old bridge is 290 cm wide. our camper is 232 cm so plenty of space. I have also seen the bushes but no contact with them. It is a very clean well looked after campsite. we paid 28 pounds per night including electricity on presentation of the Nkc pass. on June 6. was already almost full so in high season wise to make a reservation. can be made a day in advance.

excellent place for a stopover. everything is there and free. village means nothing. noise from the river is quite present. no problems with the road.

references from before 2020 should no longer count. on September 17, the campsite was 60 percent occupied. there are both large and somewhat smaller pitches, but always sufficient. the sanitary building has been completely renovated and is very nice and spacious. separate kitchen, laundry room etc. the beach can be reached via a steep staircase as well as a sloping road. in high season a great campsite for families.

ten years ago we were here too. pretty much nothing changed so great. Maria is a spirited hostess. Eating good fish is not cheap in Greece, but neither is a camper. we were here September 16 and at 1500 it was full with 7 campers so be early for a beautiful spot.

actually everything is right. the beach and pool is beautiful. sanitary is fine. reception friendly. but as itinerant campers we did not feel at home. there were a lot of campers and caravans which are one or two there. it was very full and we were somewhere in between. take for granted ideal but not for us. still a high score.

Additional information. Due to the earthquake last winter, the whole beautiful village has been closed. All residents are away. We have been to the village under the guidance of an officer. Very sad how much damage there is to this village. But the campsite is fine. Ineke and Bert

Great nice campsite. Nice surface and there is water and you can drain gray water. The place is very original, Italian, beautiful. The people are not used to tourists and are all friendly. We were here on May 15. We were right on time (1400 hours) and still had a good spot. After this came many campers and it was completely full. Great place nice and quiet and a beautiful castle.
