Quite a nice campsite, but the information is incorrect. They'd never heard of the CKE card. You pay €64.40 for two nights with two people and a campervan in the off-season, even though many amenities are closed.

You arrive at 7 p.m., say you're staying one night, pay €37.50 (!!!), and are assigned a minimal pitch in a pebble-covered alley where you can look directly at your neighbors' plates and enjoy the passing traffic. A campsite like this should be ashamed to offer this, despite all the other positive aspects. It's the height of sadness. We won't be returning.

A rather dull campsite with lots of road noise, music from the neighbors, and the smell of a sewer or something. Pitches are difficult to access. Sanitary facilities are fine. Bayeux is a beautiful city, but very commercially oriented. The hospitality industry didn't seem very pleasant. Only a drink in a "restaurant"...you're sent away and not very friendly.

This is camping as it was always meant to be. No luxury, but peace and quiet and nature. Coen is a fantastic cook and a great host. He serves his meals (or cheese tastings) at a beautiful round, covered, hand-carved wooden bar. The area is full of beautiful places to visit. The WWII landings played a significant role in Normandy. Ask Coen for information, and he'll be happy to tell you. A campsite with a wonderful atmosphere!

What makes this a 4-star campsite is a mystery to me. Before you can reach the designated small spot with a concrete slab, you have to prune a tree. There's no atmosphere, no contact with people, and the immediate area around the campsite is a nightmare. It's not right on the river, and the sandwich service...you can order a baguette and croissants. The sanitary facilities and (small) swimming pool are quite okay. We stayed one night and left, so I wouldn't recommend it.

We could only stay one night (there were 11 pitches for people who could only stay one night???) and paid €42.88!!!! Most pitches were very close together. It also felt like being at a Dutch campsite. And...you're not allowed in the pool if you're wearing the wrong kind of swimwear, which is a bit disappointing for that price. Other amenities were quite okay.

Pay close attention!! This campsite is now called Camping Sunêlia Les Nids du Lac. We stayed two nights and paid €90.44 for a small campervan for two people. We felt completely ripped off. A small site, thumping music, a sort of school camp next to us with about 30 children, plus the other guests... and then a restroom with exactly one regular toilet for all male users. The excuse: "We're working on a new restroom."

What a sad welcome, or rather, "no welcome at all." There wasn't a soul in sight, and no answering phone number. Two other people and I wandered around the building without making any contact. It's precisely here, upon arrival, that the question of whether you're satisfied or not with a campsite or campervan site begins. Apparently, you're only welcome here when it suits the manager!

Fantastic campsite. We have children and grandchildren visiting us, the weather is bad and Linda immediately indicates that she has chairs available, and ... we can use the canopy of a glamping tent. Wonderful campsite where you feel at home. Thanks for the great service. We (the family too) will be back.

Such a wonderful campsite. Hospitable, beautiful places (choose yourself), all amenities nearby, beautiful cycling, fishing in the Lower Rhine, and then...... that peace and quiet. You need that during the holidays. Stayed here for six nights with our Mercedes Vito Westfalia camper.

Our stay was very short. After installing our camper, it turned out that it was not positioned properly and we had to move it so that we were looking against a hedge and parked cars with the wind in the entrance. No discussion possible. We only received our money back in cash, while payment is only possible by debit card. Payment by bank would take 14 days. Very unbelievable and unsympathetic behavior. So get out of here!!

Beautiful campsite with a nice museum next to it, De Sûkerei. The De Mearmin polder mill has been on the site next door since 2016. Worth visiting, especially if a miller is present.

A nice campsite for a visit to Skagen (beautiful town). Most facilities are ok. The place where we stood was very small and unsettled by campers departing in the morning and arriving in the afternoon.

Good reception by a gentleman who thinks about our stay. We had not discussed anything, but possibilities were sought and these led to results. Beautiful campsite with excellent facilities. Please note: the address of the campsite (Kiefteweg 71a) is no longer correct. That should now be: Hupselse Markenweg 25.

There are nice places on the Saone. Furthermore, the site is rather of a sad quality. Dirty plumbing and reception that is not there. The pin device is not working. The restaurant is bad. Beer in a plastic cup and cold food. The service doesn't understand much either. Not recommended.

Atie and Leo July 21, 2018 Nice campsite. Some places are very small. Toilets sometimes very dirty. Paid € 18.-. But then ..., wifi ... pay, electricity ... pay, pool ... pay (€ 3, - pp / pd). Restaurant has Dutch prices. That is therefore an expensive campsite.

Atie and Leo July 14, 2018 We arrived at 16.30 and at 17.45 we were registered. There were two ladies behind the desk who showed a huge inefficient way of working. Then you had to pass on the number of the electricity box and someone would connect the power. Then you end up in a hot sandbox with a lot of people. Sleep, eat breakfast and leave.

Atie and Leo. July 11, 2018. Received by a not too friendly lady who did very difficult when we asked to see the campsite first. After handing in Acsi pass we were allowed to enter the campsite. We had seen it quickly. Camping looked nice but very small places. Little privacy. As far as we are concerned, not recommended. We drove in a northerly direction.

Atie and Leo July 6, 2018. Beautiful quiet campsite with new enthusiastic Dutch owners Menno and Miranda. Sanitary is new and therefore perfect. Choose friendly reception and place yourself. Beautiful view and beautiful walking along the Mira. Highly recommended

Atie and Leo From 22 June to 29 June 2018 Fantastic campsite with very helpful managers. Even when we got problems with our camper bus. Beautiful free places and excellent facilities. We paid € 17 incl. Electricity and wifi. Go there and you will experience it. Recommended.

Atie and Leo June 21, 2018 I do not really understand these high valuations. Certain facilities such as sanitary facilities are ok. But for € 18.- without electricity I expect a better place in Portugal than we were assigned. The "boss" wanted us to have the building (future hotel). We also looked at that building and the car of the neighbors. Not recommended for us.

Atie and Leo were here on 20 June 2018. Beautiful new campsite with excellent facilities. Nice view of town and great places between pine trees. Bread supply (little choice), small bar and wifi is included in the price. We paid € 13.90 including use of washing machine, without electricity. A must so.
