We arrived at this lovely campsite on August 31, 2025. With our ACSI card, we paid €15.44 per night. The sanitary facilities were recently renovated (see photos). The pitches were beautiful. The receptionist was very friendly and gave us a choice of pitches. Ideal for those who enjoy peace and quiet.

2 nights September 27 and 28! beautiful campsite and a very friendly hostess who provides a lot of information about cycling and walking in the area. Everything available for a self-sufficient camper (electricity, water, toilet discharge and gray water). A nice kiosk with beers and ice creams and information brochures. Tourism Westhoek at its best! we enjoyed it, thank you! 👍

beautiful cp, some traffic during the day, but quiet and peaceful towards the evening, dry toilet and rubbish bin available. You can take a nice short walk.

We were here in mid-June 2023. Nice quiet small-scale campsite with friendly and helpful owners. Located next to the forest. Possible to spot wildlife. Playground for the children. The prices are not too bad, we paid 130 SEK for a nice pitch with electricity, we did not use the clean sanitary facilities. Satellite reception is possible. Highly recommended for those looking for peace.

June 8 and 9, 2023 nice quiet cp without facilities. Walk around the lake is possible here and there some marshy surface approx. 3 km.

we have also set ourselves a little further on the road next to the tunnel less noise from the road.

We were here on May 17, 2023. Very quiet place without facilities. A dry toilet is present but not really clean.

We were here on May 18, 2023. The price is now 35 euros, everything included. After payment you will receive a key to the clean sanitary facilities (toilet + shower). To empty the chemical toilet you will receive a hook in the restaurant to open a manhole cover (photo). The water tap can also be operated via a special key and can also be queried in the restaurant (photo). Electricity (16 A) included. Mini supermarket at 50 meters.

16 and 17 . 04 excellent CP with all amenities and at an affordable rate (8 € pd) online reservation worked fine. Located on the Leie with walking and cycling opportunities. Tobacco museum within walking distance. Shops (Aldi and Lidl) also in turn. We enjoyed our stay in Wervik. 👍

18.04 fine cp quiet, many walking and cycling opportunities. 5 € if you use electricity otherwise free, sometimes have something to eat in the Tavern. No other amenities. Above the Taverne a nice small but numerously filled war museum, sometimes worth the effort. Opposite the Taverne the beautiful Brothers in Arms monument! TOP!

We had reserved for a week at the end of December. We had thought, but due to a poor internet, our mail did not get through. When we arrived, the CP was well occupied to almost full. The owner did everything he could to give us a spot. Fortunately, because it is a cozy, very neat and safe CP with all the trimmings. Thank you for offering us a successful stopover. Definitely recommended.

We were here on 21/12. you can take in water and gray water and toilet can also discharge. Free internet available and this over the entire coastline! Just next to the beach on a quiet road with little through traffic.

we were here in December, and what a view. There is only water available and you can also discharge your gray water. There is no lighting at night, but we didn't mind, all the more so you could fully enjoy the illuminated castle and a clear starry sky. The sun rises for free, so you certainly won't hear us complain. Spacious places and a quiet night.

Stayed here overnight in December. A busy job but not really disturbing when you're inside anyway. The town is a 10 minute walk away and is worth it. That should not be a camper place without frills and more.

We were here in December and in winter it is not so bad that you are close to each other. Certainly don't complain when it's free and where you can take in and discharge water. You can also lose the toilet bowl. Opposite a tram stop that takes you to the center in 10 minutes. A prime location where the crowds disappear in the evening.

We stood here in December for 2 days. Free choice of place and very friendly welcome. Very much explanation of what to see in the area. For barely 14 euros per night (ACSI) you are on a beautiful campsite that is closed at night, where you can also eat something delicious for a small price. The modern sanitary facilities were in perfect order and were cleaned several times a day. There's really nothing to argue about here

June 13, what a beautiful place!!! Ideal for walking, enjoying the peace and the not shy chamois and roebuck. Pay 8 € at the kiosk where there are also sorting bins, a toilet but we did not use it. The road to it is indeed narrow and not everywhere in the best condition, but it works, so hop on few oncoming traffic. It was fun there 👍

A very nice CP but: ... cramped place, overflowing bins so we had to take our waste back. Also no drinking water available, apparently would have been out of service for quite some time. Also no flushing water for the chemical toilet. A poorly working WIFI network and all this together was a disappointment. The two stars are earned because of its location. 12.55 euros is well paid for very little service!

We were here on 09/06/2021, a very nice CP in a beautiful area, very quiet. Place for about 4 campers. With no facilities, the dry toilet was broken. Ideal for those who do not need facilities, beautiful natural surroundings and beautiful views of the lake. fairly level terrain.

We were here on 14/06/2021. A nice large flat grass square available. Very quiet location, but no facilities. Ideal to visit the studio and the shop. Perfect for those who can survive without electricity and water. Any TV freaks can receive Astra.

We were here on 12/06/2021. The owners were not present, so 26 euros but deposited in the mailbox. Clean but outdated sanitary facilities, but good hot water. Wifi access obtained through another camper. Nice location with reindeer in the immediate vicinity. Very quiet location near the border with Norway.

We were here on 15/06/2021. We were kindly received. Really a very clean and well-equipped campsite with very clean sanitary facilities. We paid a total of 280 krone, which is a very reasonable price. Dutch owners who took over the campsite only three months ago and they are doing very well. Good luck, this campsite definitely deserves a visit. Well located on the lake and within walking distance (1.4 km) from the shops.

16.6 closed works in progress. No signage that cp was closed. unfriendly workmen the crane operator threatened to push against the camper with his crane. Then we drove away to the campsite a little further.

nice place to stay at the lake place for 2 campers had some problems with the mosquitoes towards the evening, heavy traffic does not come there, in our opinion, only runs to holiday cottages, quiet to sleep

we were here on 04/06/2021. All alone so as not to see the midnight sun go down. The road to it is now completely paved. Two large parking spaces. hiking options to the top. no facilities, but not necessary either. there are regular arrivals and departures of vehicles, but certainly not a nuisance. Top location!

We were here on 24/05/2021. Price is 220 crowns and will be collected by the harbor master, to be paid in cash. Nicely maintained toilets and showers with access code. Only the fish smokehouse was open (recommended), the other shops and the restaurant were closed.

We were here on 22/05/2021. Before you know it you are past it because it is very poorly signposted. Sloping terrain, blocks indispensable. When you are at the top you have a nice view to the sea. Possibility to discharge toilet but gray water discharge. We have not seen owners, so deposited the money in the letterbox. Good for one night.

We were here on 21/05/2021. Large grounds, ideal overnight stop when you arrive by ferry in Trelleborg. 14 km from Trelleborg. Little traffic at night. In the vicinity a department store with large parking and well-maintained toilets located at the back. Towards the sea you have an attraction: an old kiln building for making lime

We have been there on 3/6/2021 and were there all alone. Very occasionally a car passed. Trash cans and dry toilet available. Just next to a nice river where a sami lives. Spotted a snow rabbit and moose on the spot. Sami village nearby. At the end of the road in Nikkaluokta (25 km further) is a sami house and information point. From there you can take signposted walks in the nature park.

Beautiful and well-maintained campsite, also suitable for motorhomes. Very friendly and helpful owners. The sanitary facilities are very clean and regularly maintained. It is not the most modern but certainly meets the hygienic rules and there are also facilities regarding the corona measures. We were here for two days and it is nice to stay here. Very quiet and located 2.5 km from Jokkmokk. Recommended.

Very nice campsite and busy but still quiet. Beautiful places with or without shade. Very well maintained sanitary facilities with regular cleaning. Corona facilities available, trade and disinfection for sanitary facilities. Stood on 23/6/2020 with ACSI for 17.40 euros incl tourist tax. Friendly reception.

On 29/6/2020 stood there at ACSI price 17 euros. Very nice places with or without shade. Very quiet and friendly permanent residents. The plumbing was also maintained and the showers are sufficient. A very correct price. The village is definitely worth a visit, there is even a Michelin restaurant hotel.

The price is still 10 cents per hour so very reasonable. For the rest, there is one free water tap that is frequently used. Otherwise, 4 hours of electricity for 2 euros and 20 minutes of water for the same price. Very spacious places and more than enough connections. Ideal to visit the beautiful city located a 10 minute walk away. There is also an intermarché 5 minutes away. We stood there on 6/28/2020.

A pleasant cp, no use of sanitary facilities, some places are indeed short for campers of 7.5 m, bakery comes in the morning, 6 € + 2x0.40 € tourist tax.

22.6. 2020. No recommended cp duration 8 € fixed price and then 1 € per hour. We paid 22 € from 11am to 9am the next day. Fortunately, electricity and water were included. Lost ticket is 150 € !!

27.28 and 29 Dec. Ideal places to visit Ypres. Quite a lot of places were served. Places are a bit tight but in the winter period no problem then you are not outside. Plumbing is closed during this period but is mentioned on the website, taking water, discharging water and chemical toilet discharge is possible. € 15 plus € 4 deposit for admission ticket.

Beautiful campsite with a view of the Galway Bay. Place around 65 campers, the rest (in total) 65 places for tents and caravans. 27 € paid, everything inclusive. Just plumbing, nice hot water and everything with service for campers. Friendly welcome, free good working wi-fi.

13.4.18 Correct description of the CP. Nicely situated against a large pond and a 40 min walk from the center of Ypres. A full occupation by evening.

29/11 quiet CP with free electricity. We did eat something in the self-service restaurant Mie Maan. Friendly owners. Nice place to do the node walks of the forest complex Hertberg.

27/11 and 28/11 nice quiet well kept CP, clean sanitary. Friendly hostess gave enough information. We stood here only 👍 Fair price and good free working WiFi. In the center about 2 km to do well on foot there was an Aldi and AH. Super!

Well-appointed mix parking near the center. We were there on 07/11/2017 and there was cozy pressure in the city. Only eight seats were taken. Very well maintained, an example of how to do it.
