and again the camper spots are full of Germans parked criss-cross

Nice hostess who offers many extras. Well-maintained pitches, unfortunately no possibility to get water or empty the toilet. The quarry starts at 6 o'clock nearby. The information given on Camper contact is unfortunately (again!) incorrect. We paid €24 plus extras and only heard afterwards that use of the bathroom was included in the price. See photo of the prices. Nothing wrong with the place, but with the information.

Only after payment did we notice how nauseating the water treatment plant next to the CP smells and we drove away without staying overnight. Very strange that only one review from 2017 mentions this clear negative.

It is indeed beautiful to stand in the outer bend of this hairpin. Don't come too early to avoid fewer photographing tourists, but a great view over the valley.

Just had to pay £24, so more than 30% more than what is mentioned for 2023.

Great location to explore the area from here. In many places, however, the camper touches the untamed olive willow hedge on both sides. One pruning per season is not enough! With only two power columns for each six campers, some require cable > 20m. You must sit in front of or behind the camper. Despite the heat wave, areas at the back unfortunately remain muddy and the ditch attracts vermin. With sufficient maintenance ****, now only **

Five stars for the location alone; facilities are also not there. Locals come here to spot dolphins etc. and enjoy the sunset, it was wonderfully quiet at night. With the front wheels slightly raised against the edge of the abyss, we didn't need any blocks, at most a little confidence in our camper. Drove past Pier Head Hotel the next morning and we saw we had made the right choice.

A narrow winding road past houses takes you to a boulder coast with views of Black Head and the Arrans. We arrived at low tide and turned around because of the stench of rotting seaweed. We are now at the Hooker Bar, 20 km further west and that feels much better. Still posted a picture of the view, because requirements and tastes differ

We stayed here for two nights, one of which was June Bank Holiday, right at the end of the slipway. From here we cycled a large part of the sometimes tough Slea Head Drive, about 45 kilometers. The weather was great and the second night there were campers and tents everywhere with plenty of camping behavior and everyone apparently thought it was fine. No facilities, so be prepared for that, but what a nice place to stand!

Are here now from 4 pm and when the door was closed at 8 pm, the warden apparently thought it was fine that we were here. Nice to see how the tide washes around the castle and the mud flats reappear at low tide. In a few minutes you walk through the field to the slightly higher dilapidated church. Apart from some hooded crows, it is now quiet. Hopefully other campers who may still be here will also love the peace and quiet here.

You have to be a bit lucky with free places. This location is beautiful with a view of the sea and close to a nice town with what to choose if you want something to eat. Toilet at beach was downright gross. You are right next to the road; in high season that will certainly be disturbing, but now it was quite quiet.

Just arrived in Rosslare, this is a great first CP in Ireland. Wonderfully quiet - on a Thursday evening - behind the pub with friendly staff.

If you are only looking for a place to stand, with the possibility to take water and to discharge toilet and gray water, then you are in the right place here. If you like even a little bit of peace, then drive on. You stand close together. Beyond the CP, behind a height restriction that is gone during the day, is a mixed parking lot. We parked with the head of our bed facing the water, because it looked like a race track. Definitely not a place for us to go back

Large mixed car park right at the foot of the Rock. The barrier works 24/7, if you forget to buy a €4.50 ticket, the machine has a lost ticket option to exit. Public toilet nearby opens at 9:00 am and then it immediately gets busier. We stood there quietly, with only one other camper.

If we would come here more often, we would have kept this beautiful location to ourselves. Located on a dead end road to nature reserve. Sometimes a bus with pilgrims to the oratory, some walkers and visitors from the adjacent cemetery, but wonderfully quiet at night. Pub within walking distance, award winning toilet block ditto. A gem to cherish. PS: don't tell anyone, eh?

Well found thanks to good coordinates. The road to it is narrow with a width restriction of 2.50 m and only a small part of the layby is reasonably flat. But you look beautiful here! Enjoyed the gannet dives and the beautiful view in the evening.

This remote place is not for the faint-hearted, but it is wonderfully quiet at night. Clearly popular with people who walk their dogs from morning to night. Fortunately, the bumpy dirt road to it ends in two dead ends, the right-hand part of which is flat and does not suffer from cars driving on and off.

Ideal for anyone who finds peace and space more important than all kinds of facilities. £6 incl. water and toilet unloading, the view is free. We were with only three campers, so we didn't need blocks on a flat piece.

We stayed here for one night for the 'camper baptism' of our 3-year-old grandson. The welcome was very hospitable, the pitch spacious and tidy and our grandson really appreciated the playground. In Nederweert a well-stocked motorhome specialty store, Raema. In Ospel had a good meal at cafe De Vlik and the next day pancakes at the Dorpsherberg. Of course, a visit to the Grote Peel and the tower of the Vossenberg should not be missed.

Nice spot for two and no more campers due to the fire safety of the adjacent building. Too bad we found the filter butts of predecessors, leaving your free spot tidy is one of the basic rules. From here you can easily cycle to Apeldoorn, Zutphen or Doesburg. A gem where you can also enjoy excellent food.

Nice location until the latecomers cram in or even take the view away. There are six sockets, white lines on a fence mark the places, but a woman who comes to check whether everyone has paid, indicates that there is no maximum. Sometimes you might as well be in a terraced house )-:

Neat but quite expensive for what you get: a hot shower and a piece of pebble to stand on. The small harbor still has some charm. Construction workers started digging around the toilet block before 7 a.m. Where do all those boats discharge their toilets?

Nice small lawn, not really even, but with blocks you stand perfectly straight. View of Limfjord. Friendly owner came to chat briefly. No facilities, so please leave everything tidy so that others can enjoy this beautiful spot.

So close to the A1 and yet so quiet. For twice the price of a good campsite, we have been wonderfully free here, including an excellent meal that is really more than just pub food. But for less you also eat well here. Recommended!

To our surprise, we were here alone 26/4 on this former site. Nice place with a solid surface; use blocks to really stand up. You need a 'male' plug for water from a free service column. By bike you can cross a bridge in 10 minutes to the city, which is nicer than over the main road. Next to the hard terrain is a lawn with a view over the river.

For such a beautiful place you have to stand in line early. On March 30, already 14 campers where four may be. It was precisely the latecomers who turned it into a campsite. It would be a shame if this location disappeared because so many people think the rules do not apply to them.

We visited this place on July 25. The 'coned area' within which you have to park looked somewhat neglected. Without provisions we were allowed to stand for free, someone came to say, otherwise you pay £ 4. The kitchen was only open at weekends and according to local sources a new owner was sought. The church clock lets you hear an extensive tune every quarter of an hour.

Classic pub with simple card. The friendly and helpful landlord (new owner since December 2017) has snipped a piece of the parking lot, but will expand it again. It was quiet after closing time. Toilet can also be used in the morning, for the rest no facilities. A place with future possibilities!

Stayed here on August 6 a night. For £ 15 you have electricity and water (1 "connection) and you can wash the toilet. Showers in the harbor building were still defective. In the evening a lot of midges, so just outside sit outside. Quay from which you can sometimes see porpoises.
