A good, quiet, free spot in the city center at night. Cross the street and take the stairs to the old town. It's nice to stroll around. Restaurants and bakeries are nearby.

A very nice campsite right on Lake Ossiach. Friendly welcome, excellent sanitary facilities. We paid €146 for 4 nights (2-person campervan and electricity per kWh). Next to it is a pavilion by the lake offering coffee, aperitifs, and a small menu.

Still, 4 stars. The sanitary facilities are old. When we were there over 20 years ago, they were new, and not much seems to have been done since then. Cleaning is twice a day. The reception is very friendly. The location is excellent. Despite being very busy in early September, there were still places available. 4 stars for the location and the price, which is considerably lower than most campsites in Croatia. We paid less than €30 per night for two people.

Great place. Stayed for two nights. There's some train and road noise, but you can also hear the river all night, which is peaceful. Price is only €2.50 per day (from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.). The ticket machine doesn't work outside those hours. There's a check every morning, with cars already parked there that morning still being fined. The sanitation station is operational, except for drinking water. A few steps from the town center, where you'll find restaurants and a supermarket.

A great, free place to visit Passau. No amenities. Passau is easily accessible by bike. We were there the last week of August, and there was plenty of space.

Great campsite on the Danube. We were here at the end of August and stayed 6 nights instead of 2. The owner is an enthusiastic 80-year-old, and he also runs the inn next door, which serves excellent food. We had one of the few pitches with a view of the Danube. The sanitary facilities were new in the 70s or 80s, but little has been done since then. They are well-cleaned, but you can still smell it. Cycling along the Danube and hiking trails up the mountain.

Great campsite. Pleasant reception and explanation. Facilities somewhat poor, but cleaned twice a day. We stayed 3 nights because our folding bikes were stolen on the 2nd day despite good locks/extra lock on the gate. We were already warned at the campsite that a gang is active. The next day (futile) search for Verona bike. You have been warned!

We were already at this great and quiet campsite in 2021. Returned last week for 5 nights. Sanitary facilities completely renovated and in good order. Directly from the campsite a dip in Lake Maggiore. Baveno has a nice promenade and many restaurants. Tip for an aperitif with tasty snacks: Comestibile vini e affini, delicatessen where you can also have a drink on the via Monte Grappa (where else).

very nice campsite with a friendly welcome, bread service, swimming pool. Spacious pitches. Very quiet at the back of the site. Too bad to only use it as a transit camp.
