A truly lovely spot! I thoroughly enjoyed Geert's rightly famous fish stew as well as his hearty laugh; I had a wonderfully hot shower in the immaculate sanitary facilities and met some lovely people. Furthermore, all the water is safe to drink, and shops and restaurants are easily accessible on foot after the short, slightly steep initial section. Thank you so much for the wonderful time! Rosa

I stayed for nine nights because I enjoyed "Camping der Engel" so much. Joris is a wonderful host. He cleans the showers, collects the trash daily, and serves wine and beer during happy hour. Hot showers, clean toilets, cozy aperitif gatherings โ and the town with its castle, monuments, bars, shops, and beautiful city park is only 2 km away โ easily reachable by bike. Thanks for the pleasure, Joris! Goodbye! Rosa

Torre de la Peรฑa, what a lovely site ! Before you know it, you feel so much at home you don't ever want to leave (I stayed 4 months). Watch the surfers, walk on the beach, have a nightly drink at the bar and eat at the restaurant or in town. Very friendly staff, from reception to minimarket to bar ! Nice, hot showers, very clean toilets. Easy bike ride into Tarifa: shops and restaurants ! Thank you all for a wonderful time ! You are great ! Rosa

A charming place! It was lovely at Cortijo San Miguel at the beginning of December! A very warm welcome and delicious breakfast baguettes; the ever-friendly Ana and her freshly squeezed orange juice at the (Wi-Fi) bar; clean restrooms and wonderfully hot showers! THANK YOU, I'd love to come back! ๐ Rosa By the way, the 'Balcon de Europa' is within walking distance, and the paella at Chiringuito Mauri on the beach is absolutely fantastic! The Balcon de Europa is within walking distance, and the paella at Chiringuito Mauri on the beach is top-notch!

A flawless campsite with a very friendly owner, Marta. Level gravel pitches, Wi-Fi, perfectly hot showers, clean toilets. A washing machine and dryer are also available. The castle is easily accessible on foot, the supermarket is just around the corner, and there are restaurants in town. And the MACVAC art museum is definitely worth a visit! I was so impressed with the campsite and the town that I stayed for a week. Muchas gracias, Marta! Rosa

Addendum from early October: What a beautiful lagoon! I enjoyed it so much that I stayed three nights instead of just one โ despite the chilly autumn nights. A friendly welcome, delicious food at the outdoor bar, a lovely pool, clean restrooms โ everything was perfect! MERCI pour le plaisir!

September update: I really enjoyed my stay here! A friendly welcome from the owner (who apparently makes everything himself), a cozy spot, good bathroom facilities!, delicious Alsacienne pizza in the open-air restaurant (like a tarte flambรฉe made with freshly made dough!), green surroundings with a pond โ simply beautiful! The village within walking distance doesn't have much to offer, but the spot is highly recommended as a stopover! THANK YOU for your pleasure!

Update from September: I loved it here! A friendly welcome, close to the village, a great view of the Saรดne and its boat traffic, delicious pizza from the takeaway around the corner, clean restroomsโeverything was there! THANK YOU!

Dear team at the 'Le Bois de Cornage' campsite, I really enjoyed my stay with you and would have loved to stay longer if it hadn't been so cold. THANK YOU! Friendly welcome, beautiful site, clean restrooms, delicious food at the 'Le Repรจre' restaurant around the corner (thanks for the great tip!). But I came not least because I find your responses to (unfair!) reviews so captivating! THANK YOU so much for the pleasure! Keep it up! Rosa

My first CCP โ and a very friendly family business! The manager showed me how to get the necessary CCP credit card from the machine (which I then use at all the restaurants in this chain). Yes, the seats are a bit odd, and the food in the (wonderfully warm!) restaurant is simple but good. The restrooms are still temporary, but OK โ all the water and electricity supplies are top notch! Yes, I enjoyed my stay with you in Chaumont! Thank you so much!

Little Ranch: What a pretty, well-kept farm! Horses, ponies, goats, sheep, ducks, and chickens live here. Benches under shady arbors line the lush lawn, with roses of every color along the edge. A little paradise amidst fields and hills. The restrooms and bathrooms are spotless. A visit is also worthwhile for excursions in this beautiful area! Thank you, Amedeo and Barbara; you are wonderful hosts! I would love to come back. Rosa

What a cozy, romantic spot right on the Po River! Aniko and Rico are the perfect hosts, the breakfast rolls are crispy and delicious, and the view over the wide river is simply a joy! A lovely hot shower, a toilet each, two sinks โ everything you need is there! A supermarket, a pizzeria, and hundreds of pictures of the Po River are all within walking distance! Thank you so much, I'd love to come back! Rosa

I really enjoyed my stay here thanks to the friendly welcome, hot showers, and relaxed atmosphere (and all at a very reasonable price!). There's still some work being done on the site, but it's getting better! Thank you, I'd love to come back! Rosa

April update: I came for two nights and stayed 16! What a lovely little spot! Once the restaurant 'La Grecale' opens on the square for the season and the beach promenade is finished, nothing will be missing! Conad is around the corner, and a fine bakery a little further on. Thank you, Bruno โ I'd love to come back! Rosa

I came for one night and stayed for four. There isn't much to do this time of year, but it was simply lovely and well-mannered! Bruno is a natural host, and you feel welcome. The showers and toilets are spotlessly clean, and you can even use the washing machine for free. A short walk takes you to bars and a small supermarket in the village. Thanks for the pleasure, Bruno! I'd love to come back, Rosa

March 16-20, 2025. Spectacular views of the deep blue sea, the mainland, and the green tent terraces below. Very clean bathrooms/toilets, friendly operatorsโand meeting some great fellow campers: THAT'S great! The street next door is less so, but you can't have everything. THANK YOU! I'd love to come back when the restaurant is open. ๐ Rosa

What a wonderful experience! I stood by the fence just outside the garden, enjoyed a delicious meal cooked by Nektaria, learned a bit of Greek, chatted with Nico (in German; he speaks it well!), bought homemade organic jams and skin creams, and enjoyed their hospitality. Thank you so muchโI'd love to come back! Rosa

What a fantastic location, to be able to stand right by the sea above the bay! The site was officially still closed in March; there were four of us there. A small supermarket and an open-air tavern are a 10-minute walk up in the village (there are more of them in the summer, and one on the site too). Clean toilets and bathrooms, and Angelika, the very nice owner. Thank you, I'd love to come back! Rosa

I spent three wonderful months with Despina, Theo and the whole family. Camping Thines is idyllically located by the sea and a walk from the village, taverns and shops. And it is a great starting point for beautiful hikes. The simple sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean - and the food twice a week is wonderful! Thank you very much for your hospitality! I would love to come back โฃ๏ธ Rosa

Oops! Small addendum from Dec 24.. I liked the Kalimera camper stop so much that I came for two nights and stayed for 18! The site is very well maintained and is in a pleasant area with a mountain view. Restaurants and shops are a short walk away - and Epidaurus and Nafplion are a few kilometers away. Thank you very much for the pleasure, Anna and Bernd! I'd love to come back! ๐๐Rosa

It was so comfortable here to sit out the rain! Level pitches, very clean sanitary facilities, small kitchenette, water/eating. Hot shower (let the water run long enough in the off-season). Beautiful steps down to the narrow pebble beach. Thank you for your warm hospitality! I'd love to come back! Rosa

This place is something very special! At first it seems a bit untidy and unfinished, and then you suddenly feel at home there. Christos is the perfect host and will organize an appointment for you at a car repair shop, recommend a computer shop and find a solution for everything, and in his restaurant you can eat well and cheaply. I would love to come back! Many thanks to Christos and his team for the wonderful hospitality! Rosa

True: it would be nice to have it different; it's loud and you're standing very close together, but the camping shop is great (I bought a few things ๐), there's electricity too, and the toilet in the shop is actually really nice. But above all, the owners are always in a good mood and very helpful! THANK YOU for the quick solution to my blocked grey water pole! ๐๐Rosa

A nice place after a short gravel road. Very nice operators, hot showers, clean toilets, shared kitchen, V/E, everything you need on the way south. Town center and restaurants within a 15-minute walk. I really liked it here - thank you for your hospitality. ๐ Rosa

Georgi's 'Camping Green Lawn' is wonderful! Hot shower, a well-equipped communal kitchen, and I felt very comfortable in the green garden with a view of the mountains. I was cooked a wonderful meal with steak & chips and a Greek salad (sorry: Bulgarian salad! ๐), and on the second day the courteous site owner drove me to the bank and did some shopping. Thank you, Georgi - I'd love to come back! ๐๐ Rosa

I was here for two nights from Oct 18th 24, I find the place and the motorbikes, the hot showers, the clean toilets, the veranda and fully equipped kitchen - and the couple who run it and the way they deal with their guests simply enchantingly charming, and if it hadn't been so autumnally cold in the morning, I would have liked to stay much longer! THANK YOU for the pleasure! Rosa

It was so beautiful here - you can see the vast starry sky at night! Hot shower in the afternoon (didn't try it in the morning as it was too cold outside on 27 Oct 24). Successfully washed clothes - rack available! Very courteous operators (dad also speaks German, daughter very good English). Toilet/outdoor kitchen very clean, view wonderful! THANK YOU! Rosa

What a nice place! During the day it is a bit noisy from the four-lane road next door, but you feel well protected behind the iron gate with opening code. Spacious, warm, clean sanitary facilities, friendly telephone contact (also speaks German and English). Sibiu: the really pretty old town is worth a visit! You can get there quickly with a Bolt taxi or bus.. Thank you for the lovely stay!

What a nice place! Although it is right next to the roundabout on the busy main road, it is pleasantly quiet on the meadow below - behind the motel and the workshops and next to the vehicle park. Bathroom/toilet very clean (1x for men and 1x for women), kitchen perfectly equipped. Bus to Hunedoara Castle (worth seeing!) just around the corner! Thank you for the pleasant stay!

This campsite, which is in the final stages of construction, is going to be a gem! The very friendly Dutch family who run it offers: spacious pitches, reliable electricity, a nice bar with chicken nuggets and fries, sparkling clean, warm sanitary containers, goats as lawnmowers, lots of peace and quiet! I liked it so much that I spent a five-day rainy period here.
Sitecode: 105492
ATTENTION! The site has been closed since the floods in September! I wanted to spend the night there today (October 2nd, 2024) and found myself standing in front of the closed barrier. A nice gentleman on the phone said it would be a while before it reopened... What a pity! PS Since the site can't do anything about the weather, I won't ruin its good reputation with a star ๐

I liked it so much that I stayed for a week. Everything was perfect: the location by the harbor and the view of the sea, the old town, restaurants and shops within walking distance, the ferry to the Tremiti Islands right next door. A very clean place and very friendly management. Compliments! I'd love to come back!
Sitecode: 107587
I really enjoyed my two nights at 'La Pupetta/Family Splash' with the charming Francesco! A clean gravel and flagstone surface in the middle of olive trees - beautiful! Good drinking water right on site (also with a hose) hot outdoor showers. The street right next door is a bit noisy, but you get used to it. Trani is worth a visit: picturesque harbor, restaurants! I'd love to come back for the Castel del Monte visit!

Nice place at the lake. Fine dining in the restaurant; clean sanitary facility. And last but not least, very friendly staff across the board - I'd love to come back, thank you!

I really liked it here! The complex has a garden character; the beach borders directly on the square, the sanitary facilities are simple and functional, the boss Calogero Rizzo very friendly. Bread service. Few restaurants are still open and a bit away, supermarket 1km. It's simple, peaceful and beautiful here - I'd love to come back.

Mamma Colette is the landlady! You meet her and chat with each other. The included breakfast buffet is great! The dinners around grilled meat platters, sea bream or pasta from the region are wonderful! Two toilets/showers are sometimes a bit tight, the area itself is more suitable for kite surfers, but staying at Mamma Colette is worth a stop in itself! Thank you for the pleasure!
Sitecode: 101770
I liked it so much that I stayed for 14 days even though there isn't much to 'hike' around. (but you can take the bus to Reggio di Calabria; there are many museums there). Meal on the square alla Mamma was fantastic, owner Salvatore and son Adolfo charming, Adolfo's labrador puppy just sweet! And for those who care: toilet seat and toilet paper available! :-)

Nice here - I stayed a few weeks. Christos & Panayotis speak good English, well-kept space, clean sanitary facilities and laundry room (3.- EUR / machine), large kitchen / lounge & refrigerators. Nice pebble beach. Leonidio at the foot of the climbing rock in 15 minutes / bike - charming! Plaka harbor 10 minutes on foot, 2 good taverns and 2 smaller supermarkets, bars & beach.
Sitecode: 24155
Very good location for Stockholm visits by subway (10min walk). Free WiFi works perfectly in preseason-occupancy. Restaurant Mรค Thai on the square cooks very well (just without Kรถttbullar..๐), in the shop's, what you really need. Large supermarket in front of the subway station Bredรคng Centrum. Sanitary not too numerous but clean. Staff very nice.
Sitecode: 50938
Wonderfully located place - with the bus (just in front of the campsite) and the subway is in a short time in the middle of the city (also by bike no problem) - and lives in a huge green area! Cycling, walking for hours are announced! Through the band friendly team, food stall spotless, pitch on the canal romantic, clean bathroom. Place pretty crowded - Sexy City ๐
Sitecode: 63365
Very nice location on a hill, magnificent views of the valley and Mount Etna (80km away), space and very nice wooden bungalows - newly made in 2017. Very nice reception, clean toilets; Cooking facilities in a hut. Not quite as decorative: a heavy duty pylon in the middle of the square. Food probably better before arrival shopping - place is off the beaten track (we were just passing through)
Sitecode: 53958
Great campsite! In winter, the WoMos are generous; Bar / Gelateria, Hoky Poky 'on the promenade can be reached in 10 minutes walking along the beautiful coast; small supermarket and good butchery in the village 3 minutes by bike; Vegetable seller on the place; Bus to Scicli / Modena 5 min. On foot. All you need ! Price: 13 .- / night, 11.- from 1 week, 9.- from one month.
