2 stars due to poor sanitary facilities, but the pitches are nice, and there's a beautiful spot on the river. A campsite with potential, but the sanitary facilities really need an overhaul.

Faded glory… I ended up here to visit acquaintances who live in the village. The campsite is in a very poor state. We always enjoy stepping back in time, but this is no longer safe. The restrooms are in a state of disrepair, old and dirty, sometimes with running water, sometimes not. There's no lighting at night. So, you've been warned. There are only a few permanent residents left.

Of course, we read the reviews before we decided to stay here. Indeed, it was incredibly noisy until late at night. The spot is actually quite nice, but you're on a road used as a racetrack. The faster the better, it seems... I think the municipality of Amersfoort would do well to seriously consider a different, quieter location. After a sleepless night, where even the earplugs didn't work, we left quickly. What a shame...

what a great vibe. 1 day became 2 days, finally 4 nights. you can walk there beautifully.

nice place for a night when you are traveling. There is a very nice terrace which is unfortunately closed on Fridays.

nice campsite on the lake. nice to walk around the lake, nice places everywhere to sit for a while. camping is pricey at 55.00 euros p/n for 2 people.

quiet spot, the restaurant opposite is highly recommended!

Called 100 km away to ask if they have a place for 3 nights. Our French is reasonable, but this lady apparently got out of bed on the wrong foot, what a grumpy one! Well, if not, good luck with your camping.
