Nice camper site. Few opportunities to get a coffee. So we stepped into the Hotel-Bar-Restaurant du Marche. A very old, dirty little man was standing behind the bar. We ordered 2 coffees. That coffee machine was apparently just there for show. We got coffee from a capsule and he charged 7 euros for the two! It's espresso, was his explanation! Afterwards, I read the reviews of the hotel. 🫣 Apparently, it is a disaster there.

Worst reception I have ever experienced. We arrived at 11:10 AM and were first completely ignored, only to be curtly snapped at and told we should come back at 3 PM. We were really upset!! This unfriendliness, truly mean! If you don't want customers at your campsite anymore, put up a ‘closed’ sign. The campsite gave an empty impression.

Nice places with clean sanitary facilities. All comforts. Cycle route along an old railway line nearby. Good for 2 nights. Pizzeria Catanzaro is highly recommended.

Wonderful when we were alone. When we returned from our cycling tour to beautiful Rinteln, a camper was parked right next to us while there was still so much room. We drove away because of their loud television. Had dinner in the afternoon in that restaurant nearby, but this was certainly not a culinary tour de force. Not expensive though.
