A little bit outdated, like most municipal campsites in France. But contrary to what is often written here, the sanitary facilities are completely clean and are cleaned several times a day. €22 for 2 people, INCLUDING SHOWERS and electricity, is not too much in my opinion. Just try finding that on the Belgian coast. Mostly regulars, slightly older people; everything is quiet by 9 pm. Definitely worth a return visit.

Nice enclosed site. Beautiful location right by an enclosed arm of the Demer. Provincial domain with playground, animals, swimming pool, etc. nearby. We had to search a bit before we could get the key, but the people responsible for that are often helping out at the entrance to the swimming pool, 100m to the right when you are standing in front of the campsite. Very friendly welcome. Recommendation: relabel the trash cans for sorting.

Quiet car park of the sports and event hall. When we arrived on a Saturday, the car park was almost full. By 8:30 PM, we were practically alone. Place without facilities. The church bell nearby strikes every hour, but we just slept right through it. Thanks to the municipality of Waanrode for allowing you to stay here overnight.

What a lovely place! Very friendly welcome, spacious pitches, very well-maintained and clean sanitary facilities (€3/day extra). Definitely recommended.
