Why not 5 stars? Uh, no idea actually, because this is exactly how you want to see it. Feels more like a campsite than a motorhome park, and what luxury! Just one downside? ... the queue at the baker's van in the morning, but hey, it's vacation, right?

3rd time here and still a great place to head out. A bike is highly recommended though, as the city of Trier is just a bit too far to walk. Otherwise, everything is due for an update, but it works fine with the CP card you get upon entry.

Very basic, but for €24 per night you would expect a bit more. Showering at the adjacent campsite is free, though. A great base for via ferrata climbers.

Everything is perfectly arranged here and right next to the cycle path to Daun. The ride is well worth it, especially because you cycle through a long, old railway tunnel. Checking in and out with a guest card from the machine works well. So, no hassle, clean, and not busy.

Simple and beautiful view. The one next to the campsite is also convenient, but there is only electricity from a pole for 50 cents per kWh. The walk around the lake is easy and highly recommended. There is also a pub by the water there.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with it, and it's perfect here. The restrooms are especially good. Daun is a nice place to stroll through and grab an ice cream. At the bottom of the CP, there's a spring where the bubbles come up, so fill up those bottles. Cycling routes are easy to do from the old station along the former railway line with viaducts and even a (breezy) 560m-long cycling tunnel. Highly recommended.

Great, large campground with hot showers and electricity. Just press the button at the post to get a card that you can top up at the cabin to pay for your stay, electricity, and showers. It works perfectly, and it's all quite clean. Trier is worth a visit, with its beautiful city center and magnificent cathedral. It's a 10-minute bike ride from the campground.

12 large pitches with views of the city walls and towers. And yes, for 7 euros, including electricity and a service station, it's a great spot.

At least 50 shady spots and a 20-minute walk from the city center. Perfect for a day trip to Reims, and it's free too. The view of the stadium and the adjacent highway isn't really distracting. In short, nothing wrong with it 👍

Dinant is definitely a nice place for a stop, and the campsite is nice and okay, but oh my, the owner and his sweetheart are quickly forgotten. Friendliness is timeless, they still have to learn here.

Now the 4th owner we've met here. Still a great place, but could use some maintenance. A nice 6

excellent family campsite with spacious pitches and play facilities for the kids. Sanitary facilities are clean and complete. Warm water with coins and in good condition. covered wagon tour is highly recommended.

compliments for this place and that for only €15 a day .. so it still exists and all the positive reviews are completely correct. We will stay for a few more days!
