Great location! Everything is well-maintained and clean. Plenty of opportunities for a lovely walk (Holterberg and the Canadian cemetery are highly recommended), and the village, with supermarkets and other amenities, is within walking distance. The owners are easily accessible by phone/app. I called ahead to check if there was enough space, and the staff was very friendly. Showering with a 50-cent token is fine; just make sure you have a spare if you want to shower longer.

A nice campsite with friendly staff. Walking to Clervaux is doable, especially via the small "forest" path with a railing on the right, going down from the road (a bit of a climb on the way back). We were on a pitch, and unfortunately, it was very uneven. We couldn't get the camper (nearly) level. We heard several people around us say the same about other pitches.

A lovely, friendly campsite within walking distance of a charming town. The Dutch owners have owned the campsite since November and are renovating some things. While the sanitary facilities are somewhat dated, they are clean, and that's what matters. A very friendly welcome, delicious sandwiches, and ideal for dogs.

What a wonderful place to spend a few days! The camper site is well-maintained, and the restrooms you can use during the day at the hotel are very clean. There's a wide selection of brochures about the area. The town is very pretty, and the surrounding area is perfect for walking and cycling. Toilets can be emptied, fresh water can be drawn, and trash can be disposed of. There's no waste disposal site, but you can dispose of gray water in buckets.

Please register (by phone if the friendly manager isn't available) before setting up your campervan. Electricity is provided by locked cabinets; the manager will note the start and end times. The restrooms are a bit dated, but clean. Waste bins are behind locked doors; please notify the manager if you need to dispose of your trash. The village looked charming as we drove through it, but we didn't have enough time to actually explore it. The ice cream parlor around the corner is highly recommended!

Everything is perfect at this campsite. The facilities are well-maintained, the restrooms are clean, and there's a bistro where you can get drinks, ice cream, or something to eat. There was even live music on Friday evening. The surrounding area is beautiful for walking and cycling, ideal for dogs. The owners are very friendly.

Wine lovers can't miss this place! It's the best winery in the Czech Republic, with a wide selection of wines, most of which you can sample using a convenient vending machine in the shop. You can also buy some delicious wines to enjoy afterward. The shop staff is very friendly, and the owner is hospitable and invited us along as he gave acquaintances a tour of his facility. Waste disposal is available at the rear.

This is a great place to park. A vending machine (with a choice of Czech crowns and euros) gives you a package with everything you need to gain access. Our package got stuck, but a quick call to the number on the sign (who spoke excellent English) resolved the issue immediately. The only downside is the women's showers; with only a curtain, you won't want to use them. It's a 40-minute walk to town.

A beautiful campsite with incredibly friendly owners. A very warm welcome, a lovely spot overlooking the (swimming) lake, and very clean restrooms. Ideal: with dogs, you can walk straight into the woods for a lovely long walk. Just make sure you have enough Czech koruna with you to pay in cash.

Great location for visiting the city. The ferry is easy to cross, and you can choose which side of the island you'd like to be dropped off on. You can buy tickets on the ferry (you can choose a 30-minute or 90-minute ticket, which also includes trams), but you can pay cash or use an app. The showers aren't particularly clean.

It's certainly pricey (โ‚ฌ25/night including electricity), but it's a great location for exploring the city. It's also easy to stay with dogs; you can walk straight to the river for a nice stroll. There's also a recommended beer garden, and a bakery opens at 8 a.m.

Neat campsite. Within walking distance of the supermarket and town. The dumpster is behind a gate. The code for the lock is on your receipt from the machine where you pay for your overnight stay. There's some noise at night from truck drivers in the adjacent parking lot, but otherwise, it's fine for an overnight stay.

A very neat, well-maintained camper site. Within walking distance of a charming village with shops and terraces. Supermarkets are also within walking distance. The location is very peaceful. It's also ideal for dogs, as you can easily walk along the river. You do indeed pay for emptying and cleaning the toilet separately, as these facilities are also available to campers who don't stay overnight. No problem for us.

Well-maintained CP for 8 campers. First check if there is a place before you pay at the barrier (with coins) for an overnight stay. Otherwise you can wait in front of the gate, even until the next day. From spot 1 nice view over the Leije where the necessary inland vessels pass by at the moment. Field next to it with playground. Fifteen minutes walk to the supermarket, bakery at 10 minutes. Really a place to return to as far as we are concerned.

Great CP within walking distance of Temse. Delhaize around the corner and many restaurants nearby. You can walk to the Scheldt and you can also walk your dog there. Woke up early by the church bells and some noise from (fast) passing cars. At the moment the payment column is broken and you are free, but without facilities.

Top CP for a stopover. Everything neatly arranged. First 24 hours free, then โ‚ฌ5/24 hours, electricity must be paid (coins). Some of the places occupied by Concordes are for sale, but otherwise fine and also welcome with another brand of camper.

This is truly a Topplatz. We couldn't find a single negative, we will definitely come back. The walking route on the website is highly recommended.

Beautiful cp with excellent facilities and within walking distance of a nice town. Too bad that a large part of the pitches with electricity were not available because they were reserved by / for a camper club that seems to have this cp as their home base, but then remained empty for most of the weekend. Not so hospitable to other campers.

Indeed pricey for a CP, but for that you get a friendly welcome, a neat place with a great view over the golf course, clean toilets, nice showers, nice fresh soft towels and a well-kept breakfast buffet and that makes it worth its price. Restaurant is also good. Passau within cycling distance.

Really great campsite! Friendly owners, neatly kept places, top sanitary facilities and everything very clean. Limited menu in restaurant due to staff shortage, but delicious food. Beautiful area for walking and cycling. A visit to Dr Vogelsangklamm is highly recommended.

Was actually full based on reservations when we arrived, but a place was found for us anyway. Very friendly manager. You look fine. In the morning a bakery comes with bread and pastries. Especially nice place with children, trampoline, swings, outdoor toys available and the cows walk past the campers back and forth between stable and meadow

Very friendly welcome and great place to stand. Large field, you can find your own spot. Village accessible via a steep footpath, nice to walk around and from there you can go up the Grossglockner with a gondola. A walk on the Natura Mystica path is highly recommended. Only do the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse when it is not cloudy, otherwise quite exciting due to poor visibility and especially a waste of your toll money

Great place to stand for a visit to the waterfalls, which are very worthwhile. Also expensive in relation to the facilities. Loosplaats is on the 'bottom field'. Only a pit to discharge, which may also be used to empty the chemical toilet. But no water to rinse. As a result, dirty gang, have not used it.

Very friendly welcome, after a reservation by mail which was answered quickly. Had a spot along the way. Quite a bit of traffic, also tractors, but they were not bothered by it. Sanitary is to get through a ring, you rarely see so neat. Lovely walk and went to Wรถrgl by bike. Nice trip and nice city to walk through. Hopfgarten center is small, but worth the effort. The restaurant opposite the campsite is a must

Everything here is arranged down to the last detail. Neat places, you look for a place that you then pay at the handy pin with pin, spotless sanitary facilities. On Saturday morning a baker's cart came to the camp with delicious sandwiches. Beautiful area for walking and cycling. Dwingeloo with cozy terraces within walking distance.

Great place to visit Luxembourg City, 20min by free bus. Campsite quiet and neatly maintained. Sanitary very clean. It is handy to reserve a place via the website.

Neat new motorhome on the edge of the village. Were shown the way by a friendly villager when we first ended up at the former site which is no longer in use. Church bells do ring very close during the night, but that's a minor thing. Around 7.30 pm someone came to collect โ‚ฌ5 stageld. Campers that had stood in the normal parking spaces, because the 4 places with electricity were full, were tolerated.

Very friendly and hospitable reception at this small friendly campsite. Owner also speaks English and thought about what we could do by bike in the area. Beautiful piece cycled over the Via Rhรดna to Chanaz and Belley. Sanitary facilities can be better maintained, but it is a fine campsite for a few days.

Wonderfully quiet place with very friendly manager. Plumbing is old, but kept very clean. Village is not much, abbey is nice to walk through. Provide groceries, local shop is limited. Went to La source de la Seine by bike, not spectacular, but a nice trip. Chemical toilet emptying facilities not found, so emptied into the toilet like a previous reviewer, but that went fine in itself.

Well maintained cp on the edge of the city. Part of town close by is a bit shabby but the old town and castle are worth a look. Places are not clearly marked, which means that it is easy to park 'too wide' and there can be fewer campers than intended.

Nice campsite for a short stay. Location next to the river is beautiful. Town is nice to walk through. Sanitary is outdated but okay and all facilities (chemical toilet emptying, discharge) are present. Next to the campsite you can rent canoes for beautiful trips on the river, worth the effort! Receptionist speaks various languages.

Had a stopover here on the way from Croatia to France. Had already had a few cp's where we could not stand and therefore did not really have a choice anymore. Were otherwise gone. Campsite was packed with English travelers, very restless, children who knocked on the camper at night. Restaurant was not great. Sanitary tidy and staff friendly.

Simple, but great cp. Stayed one night in transit to Croatia. Without power. Water is paid, also to flush your toilet. Discharge from the toilet is free. Some young people walked by, but otherwise it was quiet.

Great welcoming reception and well cared for. Kitchen was just closing when we arrived, but we quickly prepared a meal especially for us. Free standing, with use of electricity (2 connections) and even shower and toilet. Never received so kindly before. A bit of noise from the road where the first traffic passes quite early in the morning, but that way you have something everywhere.

Reviewed a locationโ€”almost 7 years ago

Sitecode: 12147

In itself neat cp with facilities, but discharging toilet on the normal dirty water drain is not convenient and dirty. Ideal that you walk into the center and have enough shops within walking distance. Unfortunately a lot of noise from the busy road, the night's rest gets in the way.
