There is nothing to fault at this campsite. The price is high, but the location is top-notch and the facilities are worthy of a campsite. To the left you have paved pitches; to the right, first a few paved pitches, then grass. Vianden is a nice old town with plenty of restaurants and cafes, but few shops. The castle is within walking distance and worth the visit, but unfortunately (although logical) we were not allowed inside with the dogs. It is a nice walk uphill and back down through the woods, though.

Shady spots, quite close to a main road but the noise isn't too bad at night. You should be able to get to the city easily by tram, but (large) dogs aren't allowed on it. Then you can cycle (a beautiful route) or walk, but that is quite a distance. The campsite is a bit messy, but otherwise fine if you want to visit the city.

Very friendly and welcoming reception. We arrived during reception closing time, called the phone number on the info board, and the barrier was opened for us in advance. We were able to choose a spot and report to reception half an hour later to let them know where we were parked. We walked to Paladru, a nice walk of about half an hour. Had coffee on a terrace there and headed back. Food truck present on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Great spot with a beautiful view of the lake. Many surfers heading out onto the water from their campers. Nice opportunities for walking, canoe rentals, and a small restaurant/terrace. At the rental area at the front, there is a small shop that also sells baguettes. Not too many power outlets, but a nice quiet spot. At the barrier, you receive a receipt with a QR code that allows you to pay for the duration of your stay at the terminal before departure.

Very neat and still quite new campsite. Everything is well taken care of and you can easily drive onto the site using the code from the Camping Car Park app. You can have a drink, enjoy a nice ice cream, or have a bite to eat in the evening on the terrace next to the campsite. Bakery within walking distance was unfortunately on vacation (until 29/9). From the campsite, you can easily walk or cycle along the Rhône. One to remember.

A really great place. Everything is neatly taken care of, clean, and the welcome at reception is friendly. It is wonderfully quiet, apart from the occasional fighter jet flying overhead. We were just passing through and arrived too late to take a quick walk around, but upon leaving we saw that Joan of Arc's birthplace and a small church were really within walking distance. Nice to take a short walk over.

Great place! It's nice that you can walk freely around the grounds, so that even without going into the actual mine, you still get an idea of how the miners lived and worked. Electricity is provided by coins from the machine at the discharge point. One coin for approx. 8 hours of power, but coins don't add up. When we added another coin in the evening so we wouldn't be without power in the middle of the night, it turned out later that the counter started again from that moment; a real shame.

Stayed here last summer and again for 2 nights this time. Great to see how the Dutch owners are working on further sprucing up the campsite and expanding the offerings. Everything is in excellent order, we will definitely be back.

For the campsite: the 12:00 check-in time is strictly adhered to! If you arrive earlier, there are two options: stay at the motorhome parking area or buy a parking ticket for the motorhome (€10) allowing you to stay for 8 hours and then check in at the campsite after 12:00. The motorhome parking area is in a prime location relative to the city. There are no power hookups by the waterside. Bring a bottle of water with you when cleaning the toilet. (Drinking) water from the dispenser next to it is available for a fee only.

Great location for visiting the beautiful old city; you can walk there in no time. Super friendly manager who helped everyone check in via the kiosk. The sanitary facilities are clean. Showers are in the captain's lodge using a token purchased from the manager for €1.75. As for a good night's sleep, the city never sleeps… but it is worth staying here.
