When we arrived, we had our doubts. It looked very messy/industrial area-like. Once at the site, you don't notice any of that anymore. Nice picnic table on the jetty. The children enjoyed the playground with the trampoline and fishing from the jetty (my son caught a large cod). We hiked from the campsite to the mountain lake Bondhusvatnet (9 km total including climbing the waterfall). Doable with children (7, 9, and 11 years old).

Beautiful, idyllic spot. No playground for the children, but we didn't miss it. There is a small house on the beach with beach toys. The swing chair hanging from the tree was great. Just had new canoes delivered. We took a trip to the uninhabited island that is visible from the campsite.

Perfect location for a visit to London. The parking lot is diagonally behind the pub. No facilities. The pub is well visited during the day, the picnic tables on the lawn were pleasantly full. Everyone enjoyed the sun and a snack/drink. There is a train station 2.8 km away from where the train takes you to the heart of London. We bought tickets that also allowed us to enter the underground, so we could get off close to all the sights.

I really found this a surprise! We chose this campsite because of its perfect location for a visit to Bath. We had a camper spot close to the reception, in the shade of the trees, our spot had its own picnic table. Sanitary facilities were clean. Our 3 children had a great time in the playground. Great area for running. And we were in the middle of Bath city centre within a few minutes by bike.

Neat, quiet, camper place (although there are also caravans). Clean water available. Discharging of grey + black water neat. You can hear the noise of surrounding roads but we did not find it disturbing. Price overnight £22 incl. electricity. No toilet and showers available, no wifi available. Payment only cash, with PayPal, or transfer (expensive bank transfer costs!) The view is very beautiful. We saw the sun set behind the mountains, beautiful!

Nice campsite, friendly owners. Were welcomed with coffee. Large trampoline, nice climbing frame and the swimming pool was perfect for our kids (9, 7, 5 years). They are really renovating everything, most of it is already very beautiful. The toilet building was indeed very outdated/dirty BUT the new toilet building is already there and will open around June 2024 when there are more guests. Washing machine is free to use (included in the price), no coins or the like.
