Yes, it is a holiday park with chalets and a swimming pool with slides etc. But... outside the high season when it is probably very busy, it is wonderfully quiet. The swimming pool is open and dead quiet, the sanitary facilities look neat and the beach with boulevard is a 10-minute bike ride away. Spacious places that you can choose yourself and the staff is also friendly. For us, completely fine.

We had sent an email to ask if they had space and if we had to make a reservation. Answer: enough space, reservation not necessary. When we arrived the reception was closed (was known) so we walked around to see some places. Preferred places were not available but we got a short list. Place chosen but could not; someone with a reservation wanted to test that place. We went. Enough campsites in the area that do understand.

Great camper place. Next to a large park and you can walk straight into the nice town. Included in the price is electricity, 10 minutes of tap water, grey and black water discharge and there is a clean toilet building. It is definitely worth the 7 euros for 24 hours.

I have not come across a nicer place to swim in the sea than here. Unfortunately, a lot of flies and mosquitoes where we were (next to a 'permanent' caravan). Maybe better somewhere else. Cozy beach bar with lounge music that could be a little less loud. We would definitely come back here if we are in the area.

Very friendly and hospitable people. We wholeheartedly agree with the previous reviews

Nice place in the garden of very friendly people. A new care station has just been created. The garden looks somewhat neglected compared to the photos here.

Slept wonderfully at this (unofficial?) camper place. Beautiful environment. Very busy during the day.

Large, very busy parking lot during the day. After closing time of the golf club it is wonderfully quiet. It is annoying that the camper pitches are directly under a number of flagpoles that are quite noisy in the wind.

Place was completely empty when we arrived on September 1st. Grounds and toilet looked very unkempt. Emptying the toilet and taking in water costs €5.00 for 15 minutes of use. No telephone signal and hardly any data traffic possible. We drove on.

We ended up here after referral to the campsite in Turckheim where we could choose from 2 places right along the road. How grateful we are for this tip! A wonderfully quiet campsite with places in the woods or on the open plain and everything in between. Choose your own spot, very clean sanitary facilities, friendly management, bread service and walking from the campsite. Much nicer than the busy campsite below! NB! campsite is now called Labaroche!

This place indeed has fantastic views and nice walking routes nearby. What it also has is a lot of view admirers, hikers, carpoolers and places where even with high blocks you can't level your camper. You get the most busy traffic on the road next to it at 7.30 am. 3 stars for the view and the hiking trails; it is not really a nice motorhome.

Nice pitches with lots of privacy between high hedges or, if you prefer, on an asphalted section for several campers. No care taken. Place is surprisingly nice to look at. As also said in a previous review; don't get bread from the nearest boulangerie (baguettes seemed a day old and croissants were chewy and greasy). Further in the village is another boulangerie and a Spar.

Nice place with nice walks in the area. It is a pity that 2 large campers found it necessary to stand outside the official places in order to spoil the view for those who were neatly in a place between the hedges. Lots of flying insects unfortunately.

Although it looked neat and the view was beautiful, we didn't think it was nice enough to stay here. Especially the fact that buses also stop here and it was otherwise a bare affair made us decide to drive on.

We stood here for the reception closed until 13.00 at 12.15. Walked around the campsite and noted empty spots. When it was our turn we were asked 3 times if the places we liked were free. After showing the ACSI card and filling in the form, they said that there were 2 free places for a camper, both along the busy road. Other places were not for campers (see on the entire campsite). The campsite they referred us to is much nicer. Happy to.

Good motorhome in the middle of the Picos de Europa. Beautiful environment. You have to love driving mountain roads to get there. Automated registration system where you have to choose a place in advance. First take a look because not all places are suitable for longer campers. Departure time is 12 noon no matter what time you arrived. If you leave later, you have to pay extra.

Great place to visit Santiago de Compostela. Very friendly welcome by good English speaking host. Nice that there is a fast washing machine (and dryer) with wonderfully smelling detergent. A bit difficult to avoid the freshly planted trees for larger campers.

What a fantastic spot. Beautiful view, nice and quiet. Be on time because the official places fill up quickly. In the end there were 17 campers.

I agree with the previous review: Great campsite in a beautiful setting. Indeed it is not all new but it is clean. The Lidl and the Pingo Doce are both about 10 minutes by bike. We paid € 14.30 including electricity. I understand that you are disappointed if a campsite is not open when you are standing in front of the gate, but to give 1 star I think is a bit silly; how can you judge a campsite if you have not been there ...

Nice camper place with cheerfully painted concrete surface. In the village there is nothing to do outside the bar (closed when we walked past). There is a large playground 100 meters from the motorhome. Of the 15 places, 5 were taken up by 1 very large camper with a large trailer. Such a pity that other campers no longer had a place.

The price has now been increased to 10 euros in the pre-season and 14 euros in the high season. These prices are for the camper pitches located outside the campsite, 6 of which are on gravel and a number on grass. Prices include care and electricity. If you want to stay at the campsite, you pay a little more.

In itself a beautiful location but we did not feel comfortable there. Lots of parked cars with men in them. No other campers. After having something to eat we drove on. Also not really suitable for campers longer than 6 meters. As far as we are concerned, no place that belongs on this app.

Camper pitches at campsite with chalets. Many regular guests, also on the camper spots. Nice and quiet even though you are close to the main road. Nice that the chickens and ducks just walk between the campers.

June 30, 2022 Beautiful motorhome, beautiful location. sanitary somewhat outdated. We were on the higher part near the restaurant. because the camper pitches are there in a circle and not everyone puts the camper with the nose in the same direction, it happens that your awning is on a small piece of grass.

June 28, 2022 Quietly located motorhome on a small lake. The official motorhome pitches were all occupied. There were already 2 campers in regular parking spaces, so we put our bus next to it. Later more campers came. Apparently that is not a problem. We slept well.

June 21, 2022 Messy site with many permanent pitches. Sanitary very outdated. Lots of cats that don't bother you. Near the beach and by bike to Porto is easy to do. Note, TomTom sent us down a “road” that a tank would have trouble with. 1 exit further is the right road.

June 16, 2022 Where can you still find that, a free motorhome with tapping water, gray water and chemical toilet discharge. And that in a big city. Be early because it fills up quickly. We had some problems with partying young people in the park next door for 1 night. Public transport to the center of Lisbon is nearby.

June 14, 2022 Indeed, the access road is narrow and poorly maintained. However, the motorhome can do little about that. A bit of a flower power like atmosphere with what appears to be some permanent residents. We have been fine.

June 13, 2022 Almost unbelievable that they can offer this for such a low price. Yes, it is a bit messy because there are no fixed places but come on, beautiful pool, lots of nice sanitary facilities. Then you can't complain. Albufeira is easy to do on foot.

June 9, 2022 In itself a nice campsite, but because we had the last spot we had to maneuver our not so large bus camper on an impossible corner, which was quite a challenge thanks to the high curbs and narrow paths. Good sanitary facilities and good showers. The laundry service made up for a lot. Because the dryer was broken, 2 ladies placed our laundry neatly on a drying rack near the camper.

June 3, 2022 A free place with almost all amenities in a beautiful setting. We like to take for granted that the site is a bit poorly maintained. Nobody makes a fuss if you turn off the awning and put your seats outside. Occasional nuisance from trucks that sleep with parking air conditioning on in the adjacent parking lot.

Place has water, gray water discharge and cassette toilet, flat spots, and all that for free. Police visit several times a day, absolutely no problem if you sit outside in front of your camper. Nice little place, well worth a walk along the old textile factories.
