Pitches are beautifully landscaped, paved, with greenery in between. But the places are hopelessly too narrow! To be able to turn off your stairs you must park on the far left. To reach one of the left hatches, you have no choice but to step into the young plants (which will therefore not survive long). We used to think Ettelbruck itself was a pleasant town, but it is currently on the verge of death.

Nothing remains of the cozy atmosphere and surroundings of the old motorhome site, with the horses! Now it is a, perhaps correctly constructed, but very cold, sterile place, further from the Kattevennen. It is the second time that we have come to the new place, but the machine for the barrier does not work. We would have to install an "on/off" App, which we don't want. Then just spend the night in the parking lot. You should do too! ;)

we like to come here, to walk on the beach and dunes. But for 17€ the service is substandard, outdated and dirty. Didn't dare to take water here. The nearby restaurant has also lost a lot of praise in terms of hygiene!

We were not allowed to choose how to set up the camper. Everyone must face south. (lights downhill). We are told that the shower is only for tents (this is not a campsite, is it?). "People with a camper have a shower...". Toilet discharge is not allowed in the handy tube, but must be in the grid against the ground. That tube would only be for water. Self-tested: tube is connected to grid underground! ... Conclusion : Customer unfriendly

Reception bureaucratically correct, but neither friendly nor helpful. We were not allowed to choose a place. Some input with difficulty: not too far from the central building. They gave us spot 1, which was difficult for us to enter due to the narrow entrance (right-angled bend with boulder). We sat against a boulder. (still my fault) We could not stand at the indicated place because of 2 trees in the middle. the rest of the square is empty.(184 spaces). Just resist us!

Campsite OK. Reception amateurish. Only German, and you are not allowed to choose a flat place yourself. Old showers (upstairs) are Ok, the new showers downstairs are exactly Turkish baths, without proper ventilation

Pleasant standing. Fairly quiet despite proximity to amusement park states. 2 showers : Good, but too little ventilation. In warm weather, it's like Turkish steam baths.

Beautiful place on the Moselle. Against a (not fully paved) bicycle path against the Moselle to Bernkastel-Kues. Service not great: Discharging water over the well was almost impossible for us.

Part of the motorhome was occupied by cars. This place is good enough for us to visit the suspension bridge and then continue driving. You pay 10€ for that. Water included.

Judging by the pictures, we were in the right place. There were only cars. No mention that this would be a motorhome. Good for parking and exploring the town, but nothing more. PS : The train is a nuisance for us!

beautiful campsite in an ideal location for walking. But the reception is downright amateurish! we had to pay 12 euros. others 15. some were allowed to stay for a maximum of 2 days, others for 2 days and then extend, others were allowed to stay for 3 days all at once. Some really had to ask for a pass from the bathroom. We didn't, we got one. our neighbors received two unsolicited... If you pay cash you will not receive any proof of payment!

Too bad I can give "only" 5 stars. The owner has his own motorhome and it shows. Very nicely laid out with insight into what we need. He uses this with passion and you can tell!

One of our favorite places in the winter. happy walk. free 16A electricity (so that we can heat up electrically and not constantly have to search for gas). From Wednesday to Sunday, enjoy a delicious meal or drink in the tower overlooking the lake.

This is not a camper place, but an ordinary parking. Terrain unreliable muddy. we did not dare with our pulling wheels, not even to turn back! If you want to be "wild" in the neighborhood, you are much better at the "Parc Botrange" visitor center in Rue Botrange

Is a large parking lot, a part of which is reserved for campers. As far as we know, there is a daily check, and if you are not in the right place you will be fined. It is not clear where you can stand and where not. A number of camper spots were occupied by normal cars. (Would they also be fined?) Pressure of incoming and departing cars (located at the bus stop)

Quiet place. (in some places noise from a job, but where we were not). Old-fashioned way: someone with a cap comes to collect the money. I love that! much nicer than barriers. Grass soil (after heavy rainfall) is a link to drive on. I drove backwards with the blocks behind the front wheel, so that I could drive away without problems in the morning.

Only positive: You can walk to the town from here. Furthermore: messy, plant-overgrown car wrecks in the bank, overcrowded, neglected service area, uninviting ...

Is a small parking lot, where it is (also out of season) searching for a free space. Not cozy (also parked truck ...) Well within walking distance of village, where you are completely through in half an hour :(

according to the "syndicat d'Initiative" this is no longer an official place. The official place would be on the other side of the town (West side). But everyone (including us) drove to the Eastern location and spent the night there without any problems. Are simple car parks, and not enough for the many interested people who go everywhere in the street.

This is just for us! Some beautiful separate places, where you can stand blissfully. And if it is full, or you prefer to stand on a grassy area, there is a large grassy square (there were around 25 and absolutely not full, or packed together). Nice view of the citadel (walk ...) Have also done a combined bike tour to Haspelschatied (The Polissoir). Small but worth it!

Cozy place with (in a number of places) views of the Danube. Good place for example to do a bike ride along the Danube.

you have to go to the swimming pool to pay and validate your ticket. There it suddenly appears that you have to pay € 8 instead of the € 4 posted at the entrance. They regard 18 hours (incl. We were there because we had to be in the factory. When we woke up in the morning there were four sandwiches packed next to the camper (because we are driving with Frankia or for everyone?) Very good to visit Vienna via the U-bahn. Service places are too close together, so that you can discharge water in 4 places but with 2 campers at the same time. Pleasant. However, most places include wild chestnuts. The result: solar panels hardly work and during heavy rain, heavy chestnuts fall on the roof. The otherwise quite dusty soil is dirty and greasy after that rain shower (dirty shoes, blocks, electricity cable and floor in the camper). Well next to pleasant park, and nice bike!

Great messy affair. We were right next to a half-overgrown car wreck. Service area old, half broken and dirty. Easy to ride on, but hard to finish. Also the reception old, tatty and messy. Absolutely not worth its money!

Simple place with toilet block right on a road, in a cozy village. Discharge toilet: simple system, high vertical tube. The best system I have seen !!! Discharging gray water: Very difficult. Not possible for us without half walking along the asphalt road. Taking in water: No threads on the tap, so a solid water thief is needed.

Half parking for cars, half parking for campers. Entry is for both through the piece for campers. Many cars first drive a round on the motorhome, (with a lot of dust as a result) or just park between the campers. Domain is beautiful, but pock print! Dogs are not allowed on the beach but there is a lot of waste from people! Adjoining forest is beautiful.

At the top fairly flat spots on gravel. Lower sloping areas with very high grass. Is full of grass spikes (crawlers) which, as far as we have heard, are dangerous for dog ears. You arrive here around two o'clock and 5 minutes later you stand by the work team to ask how long it will take. Half an hour is the answer. That's OK. After that we used the vibration plate for a maximum of 15 minutes. In our opinion, the sound of laying stones was not really disturbing and on balance it was also just a working day. Interesting place to cycle or walk from there, or to have a terrace with a view of the Westerschelde. However, the place itself is nothing more than a widened parking lot, not separated from the roadway. Good to stand during a bike ride or something, but we don't like to spend the night in such a place

Nice park. You can stand where you want in the car parks, as long as there are a maximum of 2. (If there are 3, how are they going to check who is wrong?) Hang-out youth, but did nothing really wrong. Have explored the village. Is a clean village, but outside a cozy cafe (the pillory) there is little to experience. Went further to Brasschaat to sleep there. (score is mainly for environment)

Ordinary parking spaces on a canal (with a hedge between them) could not charm us. Neither the environment. Have looked for another place.

Good location for walks in Peerdsbos. Noise from cars during the day. Very quiet at night. Service well-intended, but performed without camper knowledge. - Building with overhang at approximately 2.5 meters height! - Water tap with hose lying on the dirty wall! - We cannot correctly discharge water without being on the street! - Toilet is also a waste place, but dirty remains on it!

Very good location for walking in the Kalmthoutse Heide. There are 2 places at the restaurant, but we were in total with 6 (also on the large car parks). In the evening some annoyance from traffic on the main road. 50 meters further across the street are 2 more places in the forest, with benches. It is very quiet there. During the day sometimes children go on a school trip in the visitor center.

Very decent overnight stay on the way back from the Pyrenees. The parking lot was full of motorhomes (and one car), although the places on the left are regular car parks. Some of the places on the right are reserved for us. Bakker: to the street, then right. some 100m. baker right side.

Thick unsatisfactory but deliberated for the beautiful village with its covered market. Part of the site was taken in a messy way to store building materials and equipment. Terrain is also used by buses and trucks. Result: woken up at 06:30 by a truck that is warming up for minutes. And then a bus ..... At 8 o'clock empty glass containers ...

There is a water tap at the restroom, and one at another wall. It does not state whether it is drinking water. I did not trust it! On the parking lot there was a light truck among other things. Consequence: entering the service was very difficult (for our 6 meters) and driving out did not work out at once. Fortunately, the French at the wheel for once were patient!

Drive along for service. After a ride on narrow roads we found the place with great difficulty. The yard pulled up. Nobody encountered. Nothing found that even slightly resembled service. So we drove on.

Sad mixture of parking where big works are busy. In the evening quietly, but at 06:15 the garbage truck will empty some garbage containers. We stayed here only to sleep because in the area several places have been closed and there were roadblocks everywhere because of strike.

Looks nice towards water, but other directions sad. Because the terrain is slanted, we can only stand without a decent view of the water. You can not walk along water (30 meters, with benches). Not to us. just stayed for the meal and stretched the legs, then drove on.

The points are only for the CP. It is nothing more than a simple parking lot. But here you do not come for the CP but for the view and for walking. The walk "circular" around the rock (about 6.2 km - follow the 2 parallel blue stripes) is unforgettable!

Good place to stay and take the train. Illuminated at night but some lights are constantly jumping and annoying. Police patrol on the grounds. Furthermore, a bare concrete affair between beautiful nature.

Place with nice view. Soil consists of coarse gravel, but in between there are very small stones that you inevitably bring in! Service point of Flotte Bleue. Ie Drinking water behind the same door as a toilet discharge point. Very unhygienic! I do not take water here!

Very quiet place. Very good as a place to stay or just to do nothing. Nice panoramic view. Surface partly gravel, partly grass with tire tracks. There is a large beautiful lawn, but you can not do that with the camper. (formerly camping ???) Place with gigantic potential, but potential is not really exploited.! Bread dispenser in the village.

We are happy to come back here. Pleasant standing on the water and with a view of the boats. The surface with coarse gravel is less pleasant. There are regular cars between the motorhomes, but we did not really bother with that. Restaurant unfortunately closed for a week.

It is really too busy here. There are 7 places for campers and a dozen places for horse vans. At one point all horses were occupied by campers, causing problems and displeasure among riders! I am afraid that in the near future (rightly) measures against nuisance by campers will be taken. Especially when some people leave the service very dirty!

Always nice to come here! We will not repeat all good things again. Therefore something negative: emptying chemical toilet in the normal toilet is not very clean / convenient. There is also still a bar at a dangerous 1.85 m above the entrance to reception / restaurant. Administrator has told us that he is going to find a solution. We follow this up. Still great!

Was crowded with cars from cross-country skiers. When they left around 17:00 the square had been recreated in a dirty mud pool. Our mat was also stolen. There is an ordinary car park in the middle of the village. The parking spaces are tailored to normal cars. You can only stand if more than one place is occupied. Quiet place to stand. With a height of 3 m you have problems with young branches of trees in some places. Very nice walk starting from Cp: football back on very steep steps down (Echelle du Roi). Then left to bridge (Pont du Diable) and through the village back to Cp. about 1:30 pm. Sturdy footwear required. Canes to use at will.

Is stored again. Now € 20 for 12 hours. And a sad square with lots of cars. Drove further north after a lightning visit to Sommière - free!

Well watch out for low hanging branches. Early April already very busy. Around 17:00 stampensvol already accruing as a result, looking back and leaving camp instructors. The Cp Is good for a walk down to the pier. Walk to harbor town is too far from industrial zone (container port ...). Minimarket is also located in the industrial zone, on the road to the town.

But when two locals were walking their aggressive Pitbulls (optional). 1 dog came to us and wanted to eat a pecking side hatch. Good place to stay. Strong winds from the mountainside. Had to look at the fence hedge next to the bottle bank. Water is closed (April 2). Did not want to climb down to see if the service is open. There's a sign that you need to pay at the station from 09:45. No plan where the post is. We have not wanted and do not wait! Bakker (store) closed Monday and Tuesday.

Tries Tige parking at the station, with narrow parking areas. Place is clean landscaped and groomed. Service is below par: system "bleu flotte" blue box where one must stabbing a token, and a door will open. Beautiful CP. Nice view of the tower on the ground or in Castelnau de Montmiral in verte.Wij came however to because we were looking for Wifi. But that was a disappointment. Stood on arrival already overcrowded. (6 motor homes). Could still be just half in service area. There was a "gang" noisy Frenchmen (punk-goths) with large stray dogs. Felt not safe to sleep. Too much traffic noise. Have visited old Cahors. Could not tempt us (degeneration, drunks ...). His then drove as fast as possible!

Located just at cafe (with limited choice) the friendly Cp administrator. Is switching the evening a cozy cafe, but "at night (Friday) at 2pm them over to TE loud house-muziek.Slapen difficult!

Very nice place, everything is as it should be. Very friendly welcome with coffee, cake and info about the area :) We give a 10 because of busy road (there is a young beech, hopefully within a few years more seclusion) and the difficulty to safely leave the dog (because the road). At night it quiet on the road.

Ideal for a bike ride towards Brühl and back - through the woods (17 kilometers). Restaurant wagon no longer exists. Museum is in a state of disrepair. You can however still roam, eg to visit the old train.

CP itself is quite nice, but access on site and port authority is very messy. There is a big job close to, but there is little affected. Marina view, Moselle, vineyards and mountains.

Fine if you can stand on the grassy areas on the eastern side (via the left entrance seen from the street). The campsite itself is crammed with mostly mobile homes. Plumbing is clean, free showers. Cozy cafeteria, but closed on Mondays.
