Stunning spot! The view is breathtakingly beautiful. The climb up was challenging at times, especially with a bus coming towards you 😉 Enjoyed the silence, beauty, and nature. Surprising that the road doesn't continue, so we cheerfully drove back along the little road and spared the brakes as much as possible. Driving back towards Italy is less tough than going to Slovenia.

As already mentioned; a fantastic place! Spacious pitches, playfully laid out so you aren't in such a stiff row👌, facilities top-notch, although as a woman I would rather not have such a high, fixed shower head😉 Very friendly manager. Check-in and check-out are also very easy. Surroundings beautiful and quiet. Would have loved to stay longer, so we will definitely be back!!

We arrived in the late afternoon, when there was only one camper on the large site. In the end, 12 of us spent the night there! It is a very quiet location and the terrain is level. We saw a fellow camper fetching water from the cemetery across the street. Apart from plenty of trash cans, there are no other facilities. We can highly recommend this peaceful spot! It's great that this exists; hopefully, it stays that way, especially if we users leave it tidy ;)

In itself a fine spot, were it not for the fact that, as a camper, you naturally also have to be a member of Pintrip to use it "legally". We realized this too late to leave and spent the night there; not at the official spot, but just before it, partly because we never need electricity. The huge freezers outside cause almost constant noise pollution! We did, however, each enjoy delicious ice cream for 80 DK.

There's a notice on the sanitation unit that it's broken. It looks like it's been broken for a while! You can empty your greywater and use the toilet, but there's no flushing water. Not the worst of it, but it's a shame you can't fill up with drinking water. We tried the reception desk, but no one was there. We also called: no response. We also found the areas very bleak. We didn't stay, but it's great that these kinds of places are sporadically available in the Netherlands.

In itself a fine, quiet place. Only a pity that the facilities are not there, but 850 meters elsewhere. When you get there, everything is closed off with a fence....

Thank you Veri for the nice, quiet stay and your historical information and that everything went so smoothly. We enjoyed the view and the peace on 3/4 June '25. We will probably be in the area again and will be happy to come back :))

Apparently we have different experiences here as campers. Early April '25 we stayed here for 2 nights without any problems. We were able to view "Greek Gibraltar" in peace and enjoyed the hospitality and the tasty food here. In the immediate vicinity we could also get the necessary groceries. We were positively surprised!
