agree with previous review. old and dirty. nice that you could take a canoe or rowboat for free. and we came first and hagen beautiful place right on the lake. after us it got very busy. the next day everyone went to the boat.

way too expensive 270kronen for 2p without power!, plumbing terrible. no problem to shower behind a shower curtain but windows too big allowing anyone to see in when you dry off and it was dirty. campsite lifeless. sea powers and walk around the lake is nice.

everything is new. an electronic gate secures the campsite. to get in you have to call. you will then receive the code of the gate and your seat number. around 1600 and in the morning the caretaker comes by. some places are very small, you are then with 2 campers in space for 1. toilet block is new and clean. shower with coins, for 20 kr to get from a machine. bar opens around 1600, in the evening it was full. also street noise.

2nd time here, now a spot right by the sea. Indeed a bit cheeky and still ask for the 'empty' place by the sea. With us there was a friendly camping guest who told us we could stand that. Walking to the village or great beach. Your own private beach is flooded a lot (high tide or rising sea level)

We are working hard to beautify and keep the campsite clean. Everyone is friendly and helpful. But everything is reminiscent of a pre-war campsite. Clean but worn out. The campsite is separated by a large river. There is a gate through which you can walk to a rapids where you can bathe. Center within walking distance.

We stood in front of the gate (26/7/2020), closed! Too bad it looked nice.

Beautiful spacious campsite next to fort from WW2. 2 km to the city, large beach about 1 km. Sanitary is a bit smudgy but showers are delicious.

Beautiful campsite. We stood on the group field. Nice toilet block with hot showers. Near the abbey and the beach. The beach is not with beautiful white sand, but wonderful to find shells and crabs. Every evening a different food truck with tasty takeaway.

Nice free camper place. On the bike to cap Frehel and Fort Latte, beautiful surroundings if it is not foggy. In the high season, people tend to stay close together with sometimes just a meter in between.

Excellent campsite, spacious pitches. Sanitary is a bit outdated and dark, size clean with toilet paper. Abbaye and half-timbered houses in the village are well worth a visit.

Well you have to love this. A large parking lot with large motorhomes, and nothing more. There are also many regular cars to go to the beach or to pick blackberries. There is a clean toilet at the fort.

Min: Toilet and showers are a little further away. Reception is open from 8:00 to 18:00, after which you can choose a place and sign up for the morning.

Plus: nice location, wonderfully quiet and fantastic showers. Min: 5 campers and at least 500 mobile homes !! At the end of August these are all uninhabited, giving the campsite a very unpleasant atmosphere.

+ Good place to cycle to the city, all bike path, for 1 night fine. - / - Many campers close together, which is very unusual. No showers, toilets with code lock.

Plus: slept well, little noise from the trains, no hangover or entertainment noise, beautiful view over the lake. Min: no amenities, town not special. I was looking forward to the classic cars, unfortunately only 2 on Sunday evening.

We came here after all the nice reviews, but in the high season, unfortunately .... 8 out of 12 campers + single campers and a bus full of teens in tents, and then 4 toilets 1 washbasin and 2 showers .... these were the All day busy and dirty. For the showers you had to have coins and get the key every time and pay for it. Sleep calmly and eat well. Well unfriendly.

What a tragedy to find the entrance. All roads have high beams at 1.90 !! Take the boulevard Edouard Bollaert the street Rue Maurice Frechet, this is the only entrance !!! Popular place, so come on time. Electricity and water Credit card, very pricey. Nobody uses it. The crowds on the site does not give a very safe feeling.

Nice well cared for quiet CP. Outbound very friendly. Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant, but was pretty pricey. Direction Normandy a fantastic stopover.
