Contact with the owner was pleasant, and the location on the IJssel River is perfect, offering excellent fishing and swimming opportunities. We were less impressed with the dogs running around freely, and the campsite lacks a welcoming atmosphere due to the number of old mobile homes scattered throughout the grounds. The sanitary facilities are very basic but perfectly adequate.

This is a fantastic spot. The campsite is well-maintained, quiet, with spacious pitches and a beautiful view of the countryside. A perfect place to unwind. The only downside is that you can't swim in the IJssel River here. There's one campsite further down the road, but we found that one much less tidy and less inviting. The price is also very reasonable. Definitely recommended!

We loved the location. It was within walking distance of the old city center, where a fantastic festival was taking place during our visit. The campsite is also nice, with spacious pitches and clean restrooms.

Lovely spot with a lovely beach just a 5-minute walk away. There's a compost toilet on the way to the beach. Beautiful scenery, and I saw a deer twice. We were there with 7 campers during peak season, and we could have easily fit more. During the day, there were lots of cars, people swimming or just taking a stroll.
