Firstly - consider your route carefully! Narrow mountain road uphill to village, not easy in motorhome but ok for camping car. Nice Aire in well kept picturesque village. No EHU only charging point for elec vehicle. WC clean but light not working! Drain for grey water but a sign asking campers not to empty toilet cassette in the WC but down grey water drain! Signs advertising restaurants & a cafe

A very friendly welcome from MarÃa on reception. Very secure gate access by card reader. Pitches small & access & turns tricky, they’ve crammed as many into this space as possible! Gravel surface with no plants or vegetation to soften a very austere ‘parking lot’. Nice pool & sunbathing area.Easy walk to beach & busy promenade with many restaurants. Good for overnight only, but pricey at €27

A very well run site, excellent staff, very clean & well maintained. Bar & restaurant on site. Nice pool with loungers. Access to Via Verde cycle track through rear gate & can cycle along to next town, lovely views of coast. Gold pitches have water, drainage, EHU & good hedges between them with trees for shade. Good (paid for) wi-fi. Sandy beach 10mins easy walk & nice town 15mins. Thurs market.

Attractive entrance & friendly receptionist but once through the barrier the site has a bit of a scruffy overall appearance. But in fact it is very well maintained, cleaned well & staff very attentive. Nice pool with sunbeds. Access direct onto the beach but sand is the gritty dark grey that looks dirty so not appealing! There is nothing else in the immediate area & Torre is 4kms away. Free wi-fi.

Large tarmac car park shared with coaches & cars. Barrier entrance €3.50 parking for day, with possibility to stay overnight at additional €12 paid in the morning. Easy walk into town but bus right outside. Water & waste facilities. Good for visit into town but decided not to stay overnight as unsure how safe it was at night.

Overlooking the sea & lovely beach, but campsite is a bit tired & scruffy with pitches in between trees some with low branches so beware! Very dog friendly, even allowed on the beach. Nice bar & terrace overlooking the sea. There is a lower level with pitches directly on sea front but looks a bit like a refugee camp! Further from Muras than advertised & very busy road with no cycle path.

Good location & nice campsite. Sanitary facilities could do with updating & some investment in the site would turn good to excellent. A semi-terraced site in pine trees, some pitches are small with access a bit tight, we were given a pitch but had free choice to change. Easy downhill cycle to nice town but very hard uphill cycle back, but bus stop outside campsite. Pool with sun beds.

Good overnight stop to visit Porto, tram stop right outside with tickets obtained from machine with instructions in English, dogs allowed on trams. Quiet night although some noise from road but nothing too noticeable, seems safe area with cafe & an Aldi just up road. Water & waste service point. Shared parking with local cars, over 20 MH’s the night we stayed. Would recommend.

Well run site, grass pitches all with water & ehu. Road noise can be heard.Clean shower blocks, a little tired but very acceptable Good washing up area & washing machine €4. 2 Lovely swimming pools, indoor heated & outdoor with sun beds. Very helpful reception staff & bread can be ordered daily for collection here. A cycle path runs into the towns either side of campsite, beach a good 20min walk.

Lovely location right on the sandy beach with sun loungers available. Site is mostly permanent pitches with the touring pitches at one side of the campsite, unattractive area & very dusty ground with shading from permanent covering. Old shower rooms in need of updating but adequate. On site restaurant with limited menu which incorporates a very nice beachside bar. Best thing is the beach location.

An excellent site with very good facilities & own beach, relaxing location. Very clean modern showers, WC & washing up sinks. Pitches divided by hedges & EHU on every pitch & water close by, with free wi-fi accessible on most areas (for best reception find pitch near antenna) 2 swimming pools with sun beds, 1 has bar/cafe. Restaurant popular but we found the food only average. Well stocked shop.

Well kept, clean & tidy with large, pitches defined by hedges. Right on cycle path. Shower for 2€ in better condition than many more expensive campsites! Owned by campsite next door so same management. Barrier entrance & pay by cash or card at machine to get exit ticket. 5 min walk to Leclerc supermarket, McDonalds with Lidl few minutes further. Small town 15 mins. Took us 1hr 45min to Calais.

Good overnight stop, Esplette is a nice place with charm & character with cafes, bars & restaurants. The Aire is a small Tarmac car park, shared with coaches, just off a roundabout into the town, very small sign, we missed it first time. Free but no facilities. Public WC in the town square, a short walk away. By a busy road but quiet once evening came. Suspect it would be very busy in the season

The official Aire was closed on 27/11/16 (we assume end of season) but parked in nearby car park also called Le Barre. We had no problems. Very quiet night, with other motorhomers also staying here. Right by estuary & lovely beach. Wide prom to walk along, cafes & a McD's. Public toilet. The official Aire looked like a gravel surface, no marked bays, there was water & empty point but nice location

We stayed here in November during a period of heavy rain & although part of the grassy area was flooded, the winter hard standing was not affected. Well kept & clean communal showers & WC. Friendly reception area, wi-fi strong signal 5€ for 20 hrs. One of the few campsites open in this area in winter. Very popular as a stopover as close to the Spanish border. Some rush hour traffic noise
Sitecode: 49075
Good campsite for visiting the Cinq Terre by train (20 mins from the town)or hiking, the site has free mini-bus to the station. Small town has beach, cafes & restaurants. Outside the campsite 100mts there is supermarket & pizza restaurant (on site shop closed when we were there end October) clean shower & wc with washing up sinks.Site is in shade in afternoon. NB some access to pitches under trees
Sitecode: 29415
Very good, well run site. Good modern shower block, washing-up sinks & washing machines. Good place to stay to visit Florence, bus 10/15 min walk & 20min into centre. Elec & water on each grassy pitch. Some traffic noise but didn't bother us. Can get very busy at peak holiday times (eg Italian bank holidays) so facilities stretched but coping. 25-30/10/16 we paid 25€ + tourist tax per night.

Excellent campsite, lovely position right on the lake. There is an extra charge for the pitches which face the lake. All facilities very modern, very clean & large. Swimming pool which looked lovely but we didn't try it in late October! 10 mins walk into a very nice small town with plenty of restaurants, cafe & gelaterias. There are trees which give good shade but make access to some spaces narrow

Perfect location to visit Rome. Quiet, well run site. Very good, clean showers & wc facilities, all areas well looked after. Pitches are narrow but we didn't have a problem at 2.7 mts wide. Easy access to all services for MH. Didn't try the swimming pool as October when we were here but would be nice in summer. Train into Rome 5mins walk from campsite gate & 15mins train ride to centre of Rome.

Overnight camping behind restaurant. Very nice friendly people but feeling of obligation to eat in restaurant (which served their own farmed trout & wild truffles found locally by their own truffle hunting dog) but all we wanted was to overnight. Little English spoken so too difficult to establish if water & showers available so didn't persue. Up in hills in countryside.A bit "Fawlty Towers"!
Sitecode: 6928
Well organised, good parking for city. Can overnight here for 3€ from 8pm to 8am. All other times the charge is 1€20 per hour. Water available but no other services. Security barrier in operation at all times.
Sitecode: 8112
Good, basic overnight camperstop. All services available (there is a wc but a little 'tired') No charge from Oct to May all you have to pay for is electricity at 2€. Very close to nice 'blue flag' beach and shops. Quiet all night until traffic started at rush hour.
Sitecode: 21480
Friendly & helpful owners. Stayed here at end of season (in sept) so maybe winding down but a bit of a 'casual' approach to certain things like men's shower block unclean & nearly all locks on shower doors broken but ladies very good. Beautiful position right on safe beach with short walk into village where there are a few tavernas, also mini market & pharmacy on main road.Very quiet location.
Sitecode: 22077
Very nice campsite, near small town, in the garden of owners home. All amenities available eg: barbecue, games room, picnic table under vines. Good shower room, very clean & modern. Owner speaks good English & very helpful & friendly. Only problem was the stray dogs barking at night
Sitecode: 10038
Lovely, peaceful & isolated campsite. Set in a green space amongst trees. Good shower facilities, washing up sinks, washing machine. Electricity at pitches. Small swimming pool & children's play area. Very friendly & helpful owner.
Sitecode: 10023
Parking for motorhome difficult as uneven ground under trees. Nice quiet location right on cycle path round lake Balaton. Shower & toilet block clean. Swimming pool looked lovely but due to bad weather we couldn't try it. The grey water dump inaccessible for motorhome & chemical WC only adequate. The refuse area was bad & overflowing with rubbish. NB everything around the lake closes 20th Aug
Sitecode: 23302
A large site with easy access for large motorhome, but many areas given over to semi-permanent caravans, giving the appearance of being scruffy & unkept. Some pitches divided by hedges but others free camping under trees, maybe difficult for motorhome.Washrooms quite modern but unisex shared showers in central block.Cafe restaurant & bar on site.Shingle beach opposite but limited sunbathing areas
Sitecode: 10066
A very well run campsite very tidy & clean everywhere. All areas well maintained. Staff helpful & friendly. On site, well stocked supermarket with fresh bread daily. Very modern & well equipped washroom facilities, constantly cleaned. Nice shingle beach with small dog friendly area, safe swimming with a fun diving board for the thrill seekers! Would highly recommend. Can get very busy in August.
