Unfortunately, I do not agree with the comment of 'camping car camping area': I find it quite inappropriate on the part of the 2nd city of Portugal not to plan anything in terms of cleaning, dumping greywater and water for camping cars that spend a lot of money. Maus Porto is beautiful!

Equipment at the top level.Electricity is even free, which in my opinion is excessive: why allow these (too) big campingcars to operate for free their air conditioning, for example? City with luxury shops. I recommend the pizzeria Rugantino, via XX Settembre 26: its pizzas are crispy and the prices are very correct!

Ugly place, near a noisy junction because of car traffic. The equipment is all out of order and dirty. Only positive point, a chilled water dispenser for 0.05 € / liter (but sparkling water no longer works). In summary, go elsewhere if you can!

Basic equipment as I like: water, toilet, shower with hot water, nothing more. Price also basic: 10 € + 2 € electricity. The manager is very friendly, he provides a circuit well done for the visit of Matera, it also transports visitors to town at 9am and comes to search at 15:30, I absolutely advise. The place is superb, beautiful bike rides. We will come back !

Beautiful beach, beautiful shady camping, but dilapidated sanitary.

Very nice place, well shaded and well organized. There are fridges available. But the toilets are dilapidated: I tried the 8 showers available for the men and none are in order. Sometimes the tile is broken on the floor, often the doors are knocked down, almost always the faucet or the shower are in very bad condition. But at least the water flows and is hot!

Camping with shade for those who wish, the owners are welcoming. But the cleanliness of the toilets leaves a little to be desired (garbage cans of unfilled toilet paper, for example).

Very nice campsite, well maintained, pleasant, friendly welcome. Only downside: you feel like you are in a German colony. 90% of tourists are German, 9% are Dutch, and the rest of the world shares 1% maximum ....

It is a sort of open shed. Not the beautiful view, no drinking water, but no waste on the ground and an enormous kindness: for example, Salvatore, the night watchman, managed to make us drive by a young Vespa to the cock of d ' drinking water next to a cemetery.
