Oct 2024 - No problem overnighting here offseason at least. We were alone with just friendly dogs and night watchman for site. Basic wholesome food (pasta a treat!) from friendly home/taverna adjacent. The ruins are stunning!

Oct 2024. Quite - we had it to ourselves. Call for key to helpful english speaker. Short but stiff uphill walk to pretty village, Roman cystern and views.

Oct 2024 - Perfect spot to rest after ferry from Barcelona - Civitavecchia. Lots of space and only one other camper. Clean! Location brilliant - sea and castle!

Disappointing. Was there 2 weeks ago and had great expectations but place was spoilt by crowds of people (in defence it was a weekend). The lake is overated anyway. Found a quite walk a few miles away with view of lake from afar!
