This campsite is being restored to its former glory. It is located right next to Highway 1. Ideal for travelers passing through. If the reception is closed, check in via the app; this is very difficult and takes some time. We managed to arrange it with the help of other campers! A restaurant and swimming pool are available. The toilets and showers are clean.

At this camper site, you can empty your waste and take on fresh water. Registration is done via the app, as is the power hook-up. This is not easy. You can also buy a parking ticket at the entrance. I find the price (320 NOK without electricity) to be on the steep side. It is quite noisy there. Indeed, ideal for the boat to or from.

Neat, busy campsite/motorhome site by a lake within walking/cycling distance of the center (2.4 km). Friendly reception. Small supermarket 200 m away. Showers and toilets are clean. Fine for a few nights. Turnover is high. Try to arrive before noon for the best chance of getting a spot. Location is ideal for sightseeing in Stavanger and the surrounding area.

Large campsite, reservations are not possible but there is always room, was the response to the email. This is indeed true. However, there is not electricity everywhere. The reception is friendly. Showers and toilets are clean, but the Wi-Fi is poor. From the campsite, you can drive or cycle by car, camper, or e-bike (steep climb) to parking lot P2 (4 km). (We took the e-bike). That is where the challenging hike to Priekestolen begins! :-)

Fine for one night. You can eat there. Showers and toilets are okay. People are friendly. You can choose your own spot. 

Good campsite to use as a base for visiting Oslo. We took the train from the station 1.6 km from the campsite. Travel time +/- 40 min. Cycling opportunities from the campsite along the lake.

Small, quiet campsite with a number of motorhome pitches. We hadn't reserved, but there was space. Everything was available for the self-supported camper.

Great location, spacious pitches, friendly owner, good explanation, close to the A1. Price without electricity €15, with electricity €18. Definitely worth coming back again!

We walked stages of the Walk of Wisdom from this campervan site. It's easily doable! We cycled to Nijmegen (Stevenskerk) in about 20 minutes. Everything you need as a self-supported camper is here. Fortunately, you can still pay in cash here, by leaving an envelope in the mailbox.
