Great spot to cycle from here to the center via a bike path. Something is currently being built in the central area. As a result, it is packed with 10 campers.

Pleasant location. Since July 2026, there has been a well-maintained coffee shop with a terrace at the entrance to the parking lot and the city park.

Excellent base for walks and the Felsenlabyrinth, 14 km from the campsite. Excellent sanitary facilities in heated buildings that will suffice even in winter. Quite full in summer, but still several spots available daily for transients and short stays. Spacious and very spacious pitches. Well-maintained and clean.

Quiet, spacious, small-scale, well-maintained, and surrounded by greenery. Pleasant welcome. The Old Town is a 5-minute bike ride away. The Main Cycle Path is nearby.

Spacious pitches. Neat and roomy sanitary facilities with underfloor heating, suitable for a winter stay. The nearby village is worth a visit, with a pleasant walk past approximately 6 former watermills and the old city wall, surrounded by allotments for all villagers. You can also walk to the Kreuzberg in 2 hours.

Great campsite. The facilities work properly and it is pleasantly quiet and spacious. Very friendly welcome in good English.

The previous review is by someone who is apparently not as smart as their pseudonym suggests. We were there on the same day and saw plenty of free spots around us. It is a matter of adapting flexibly to the enormous pitches (never seen that before) and, if necessary, sharing a spot and power point with someone. There are special plugs for that. Several campers did just that.
