We are currently staying at this camper site. We made a reservation by phone (for the Whitsun weekend). We received a very friendly welcome, even though our reservation hadn't gone through properly. It is a beautiful area. The stay feels very peaceful, despite the fact that it is quite busy during the Whitsun weekend. Located close to the old, historic center. A top location!

We are currently still at the camper site. Very friendly welcome, despite our reservation (by phone) not going through properly. It is a beautiful location. The stay feels very peaceful, despite it being the Whitsun weekend and there being a lot of activity. Close to the old historic center of Hoorn. Highly recommended.

No space for discharging grey water and toilet, but ample parking spaces are available.

Very difficult access if you do not have a 'camper-park' card. It could be easier with the app, but you are forced to pay €5 for the card, together with credit in advance that you have to top up. For those responsible: drop that card (via the app) and only pay for the stay. We eventually drove on (and others too), because of the unfriendly and mandatory card!!

This is not a camper place, but only a parking space during the day for campers! We have been on this parking lot. There are clear signs that you are not allowed to stay overnight. That is why we moved on.

Reception organization, stay, surroundings,... in short: BEAUTIFUL! for information: Woody surroundings, high ropes course opposite the campsite, Restaurant with terrace at a small lake.... especially the many cycle paths that lead you straight to Rennes (about 6 to 7km) make it a fantastic stay. We paid just under €50 for 2 days (camper 6m, electricity, 2 people and 1 croissant per morning). Clean showers with pleasantly warm water.

We had called in advance for available places. Upon arrival, our hostess was not there yet, but our reserved place was :-) The campsite is limited in size, but that is one of the things that makes it fun and cozy. The reception is warm. The campsite is beautiful and well-kept. There is a lot of shade. The (height) view of the Gironde is fantastic. The price is as stated. 230V, water, drainage (gray/black) at the pitch. In other words, highly recommended!

we had a quiet night. Especially because the CP is far enough from the busy road. The CP is also a 15-minute walk from the old center. There were several campers present. Because of this we never felt unsafe. There was a bus in the morning, but it was gone shortly afterwards. Definitely recommended for 1 (max 2) night(s).

In fact, this is a regular public place where you can park. There are no facilities for campers. The stay feels safe and it is very quiet to sleep there.

The friendliness with which we were received, and also during our stay, is worth more than 5 stars. In the morning the possibility for a roll (pistolet) and/or croissant and the possibility to get nice warm food (in the camper) was very welcome. Very clean sanitary facilities. The presence of a washing machine is ideal. Due to the rainy weekend (Easter) a dryer was missing. But in the end we succeeded. If we are in the area we will definitely come back.

Booked in advance for 2 nights. In principle you can enter via number plate recognition (to be communicated in advance via website). Once inside you can stand on any camper place. This is also its disadvantage. If you drive away, another camper can take your place. Wifi is good but very slow. You always have to log in. Places are close together. Very well maintained central sanitary block.

Perfect camping spot to visit Edinburgh. Bus 26 takes you directly to the centre of Edinburgh. Stops 300m from the campsite. Perfect facilities. Quiet campsite. No shop. There are shops about 5km (centre of Preston). Including Lidl

Stayed 1 night. Friendly owners. Come by when driving up for payment. Without electricity 15£, with 20£. Everything available for discharging black and grey water + filling fresh water. Nice paved pitches with gravel. Slept very peacefully at night.

Had 4 wonderful days, despite storm and rain. Reserved places requested in advance with full pitch (electricity, water, drainage). 2nd sanitary block under construction, which can relieve at busy times. Shop with limited, but most important goods present. Friendly staff. Disadvantage is Wifi. Very slow. Completely absent if another camper/caravan is in the line to AP (central. block).
