What a lovely, quiet mini-campsite. Surrounding a central area where you can play table tennis or pétanque are 12 spacious pitches with the option of perfect private sanitary facilities. Friendly owners with time for a chat and an ice cream during the heat. Fresh eggs and a great story. Beautiful surroundings where you can enjoy cycling and walking. The Air Force at Gilze and Rijen base does regularly conduct exercises, though. A nice sight and a safe feeling :)

Very friendly welcome. A polite message beforehand asking if we wanted to move our stay under code red due to the lack of shaded spots. Fortunately, we didn't. Lovely view over the hilly landscape towards Germany. Sanitary facilities are excellent; the showers are coin-operated, but long enough for a wonderfully warm rinse. Spacious pitches. We will definitely come back here, but next time with electric bikes. Groesbeek, a 3 km walk away, is highly recommended.

Very nice owners at this spacious campsite. Between Ascension Day and Pentecost sufficient space. Large pitches and a spacious toilet/shower facility. A camping shop with fresh eggs, various jams, local beers and juices. Fresh rolls to order. Nice cycling and walking in the area of Groenlo-Winterswijk Definitely worth repeating.
