All basic amenities are available, and the location is good for visiting Stockholm. It is 42 minutes from the campsite to Gamla Stan, including walking/transfer time; the bus ride takes a total of 6 minutes and the metro 14 minutes. We stayed here for 3 nights with two young children and were (conveniently, in our case) located on the camper pitch next to the playground. Washing costs 70 SEK for a 2.5-hour time slot. So you can also run multiple 45-minute loads.

The parking lot at the end of the road is private property belonging to the bar/cafeteria. We asked the bartender if staying overnight was okay; according to him, it was no problem. We were parked with 4 other campers. Unfortunately, the day before a public holiday/weekend was restless until at least 1:30 AM with noisy young people. You might be better off parking on the gravel parking strip 300 meters earlier. Make sure you are parked before the kilometer marker; then you are formally parked on the road.

Poor sanitary facilities. I don't understand how you can charge money for that. And it is a relatively small investment to renovate it if you do it yourself. We stayed there because of the location between Aveiro and the beach. Cycling with an e-bike is easy to do. Tip: Use an app like Komoot for cycling instead of Google Maps.

Four camper pitches, facilities are top-notch, definitely good value for money. €13.50 per night for 2 adults (children under 6 free). The park is €3.50 p.p. (under 6 free). See website for more info. The only thing that bothered me was the barking of dogs on the park grounds, which went on all night. My children slept, but it disturbed my night's rest. You can also have an opinion about the way the various animals are kept.

If you drive a little further, you will find a quiet spot on a continuous stretch near “Capela de Santa Catarina”. Then you won't have to deal with passing traffic. The downside is that it is a 5-minute walk to the center.

It's been a month since we spent two nights at De Oude Walnoot. We received a warm welcome with our two young children; they even brought out toys! Lucia and Nico went the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Clean restrooms and all the amenities for the modern camper are available.

The place is closed from August 24th to September 5th, according to a note at the entrance. Because this wasn't mentioned here and we drove two hours to find out, we only got one star.

The coordinates in this app will lead you to the campsite gate, which you can open yourself. Ours was opened by an attentive cleaning lady. Payment is at the pool cash register. The sanitary facilities are clean. The outdoor pool is a good temperature. Drinks and simple snacks (e.g., fries) are available. Music plays during opening hours from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. After that, it's quieter, and you can swim laps until 9:00 PM.

A great base for visiting Levoca. Easily doable with a regular e-bike. Idyllic and peaceful. The sanitary facilities are indeed due for renovation; they are purely functional. The playground and picnic tables are also in need of refurbishment or replacement. Chemical toilets can be emptied, and there is water. Dishes can be washed in the camping kitchen. For us, as campers, this is sufficient for a few nights.
