The aire is NOT at the Jean Gauthier Distillery!!! It is at Cave Saint-Desirat which is approximately 800metres further along the road. The location is easily accessed, large carpark with individual service points, water and electricity by “jeton” from wine shop. Service area for black, grey water discharge is within carpark. Photos will follow .

Fabulous location for an overnight stop and to visit the home of Renoir. Beautiful village with nice walks and an excellent bar/restaurant Les Berges de L’Ource right on the river. BIG drawback though is the services don’t work, and from previous reviews haven’t for some time. This is a real shame and if the local Marie wants to encourage visitors they should sort this out. We would come again?

Last visited in October 2017 when the area was dry and bare. Back now in June 2019 when it is green and beautiful. The sosta is still an ideal stop over for exploring this special wine region we discovered new wines this visit and will be back to discover more. The services are basic, no electricity, the new points are for charging electric bikes! But the location is wonderful!!

Large mixed parking, no lorries. A bit daunting at first as it is a little unkempt but we have stopped here twice now. A flat walk into the city and very well worth it the duomo is special and the covered market one of the best, and of course you must buy some balsamic vinegar and condiment! Free parking but no services.

We stopped here to visit Civita di Bagnoregio and it was ideal as we have a scooter. Site was easy to access as Puff bar was open on arrival, electric points all seemed to be working if you turned the trip switch on! Service in Puff bar was good. Views of Civita di Bagnoregio was wonderful and our visit to the Civita was something not to be missed, recommend.

Just spent a fabulous week here with Fernando and were lucky to get a space with sea and river views. Essential supplies available on site including bread, to order, and milk. Facilities very good, hot shower 50 cents, dish washing area and washing machine, €3. Taverna serves excellent pizza and other local dishes and the restaurant likewise. Would definitely come again, highly recommend!

Tried here yesterday wanted to look around town. Very steep access, scooter rack scraped ground at bottom of ramp! Fair was in town and taking up all the space decided to leave being over 8m long and heavy very difficult getting up ramp to road suggest avoiding!

Not sure this is still intended as a sosta as all bays are pay either for cars or coaches! Tried the other signed one in town but completely full of cars, would be very difficult getting anything bigger than 6m in! Gave the town a miss and drove on, shame!

Very quiet overnight but used fully from early morning, 06.00, by workers from the cheese factory next door. We parked at 16.00 virtually empty, next morning very nearly boxed in! Easy walk into a nice town and if you are on the Primotivo wine trail look no further the original winery and cantina,Jovia Santa Sofia, is on the way into town. Lovely people, fantastic wine! Photos to follow.

Followed Google map directions but access was under low bridge, 2.5m, which is too low for us. Beware if you are in a higher ‘van!

1/11/18: Sosta was closed due to “storm damage “. We stayed overnight on the sports centre car park, no services but free and quiet. Little traffic noise, level parking.

Sunday afternoon, few cars in main car park with a couple of vans "trading" in something? 6 allocated spaces very tight and reverse in only. Services flooded with grey water zone under water. Flush not working. Potable water tap OK. Didn't stay, felt uncomfortable.

Sunday evening tried to access, again, no spaces for any vans let alone an 8m one! Mainly full of traders' and hire vans . This sosta needs to be noted for smaller 'vans only, if there are any spaces!!

Just spent four nights here, very peaceful location, most other vans parked were locals, easy walk into friendly small town, good supermarket, useful laundromat, very good Central Bar Tourismo, coffee and evening drinks! Would come again if in area.

12 "vans " parked when we arrived at 16.30 on Monday in October of which at least 11 look to be "semi-permanent "! Space left for 3 more as some parked in car areas. Pitch good, view over park good, quiet area, services work. Seems fine for an overnight stop.

Tried to use today, Monday in October, access not good, we couldn't turn our 8.3m unit into access so drove past. Absolutely filled with cars that looked as though they were parked for the day, had we got in not sure we would have got out! Suggest this sosta is removed from listing.

Although by the main road was surprisingly quiet. Still has the "resident" camper but access to electric points OK, no problem. A little unkempt and the services not too clean but they worked. A good place to stop en route, not a lot locally to look at.

Machine took card payment once reg no inserted. Quiet and very convenient to town with good supermarket. At €12 for 24 hours thought very reasonable.

Reasonably easy access and fabulous views over the valley. Good access to town centre some businesses closed for the season already and on 3rd October very quiet in town after 20.00, but quite lively during the day. Well worth a visit!!

The four star rating is based upon location location location with the extra star for the facilities. Have just spent two nights there cannot fault the location walkable to both Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove fabulous! However the tidiness of the site itself leaves issues some of the pitches where unkempt. The facilities were adequate but to claim 5 star rating they need to be cleaner and work.

Easy access and with space for larger units. The park is ideal for walking with or without dogs. Walkable distance to the local Tesco express and Black Horse pub which does reasonable food. Slightly longer walk into county town of Trowbridge with a bigger selection of shops. There are other villages nearby worth a visit, Rode, Westwood and the historic town of Bradford on Avon not to be missed.

Great location for exploring the Barolo region. We spent five nights here and explored on our scooter. The cantina is great for wine tasting but beware your credit card could get very used! We also did the vineyard walk to Serralunga d'Alba about 3k but very steep in places, there are many similar walks in the area. We would recommend the sosta and Castiglione Falletto to anyone visiting the area.
