Be very careful when booking online: if you click through at Urban Gardens Ieper, you are automatically redirected to Ghent. So, I had unknowingly booked for Ghent. I contacted an employee by phone twice; after confirmation by email, it was supposed to be resolved. It wasn't; I had to follow up myself via app. However, upon arrival, it turned out a camping spot had been reserved, and we had to go to Zillebeke instead 😖

Enjoy a wonderful holiday here among the French. Cycling is great thanks to the cycling route network. You can get a map (brochure) at reception. Carrefour is within cycling distance, or there are several large supermarkets in Sarzeau (9 km by bike). Be sure to book in advance during the height of summer, otherwise it might be fully booked.

Arrived on Monday, August 4th at 3:30 PM, plenty of space! This will be different this weekend. Campervans are not allowed here on event days.

A lovely, sheltered field with a limited number of pitches. Adults only! Spacious and clean sanitary facilities. A wonderful place to spend some time. The village with all amenities is within walking distance. The coastal path passes right by. Highly recommended!

Not recommended during peak season. Far too many campers for the very poor facilities, and it's too crowded.

Several large fields near a farm. Excellent sanitary facilities and even a sales point with sandwiches and ice cream. No Wi-Fi or electricity, but plenty of space and a wonderful natural setting.

ok, electricity and plumbing is not optimal but the place is great. You can cycle from here to the center (flat) in no time. After a busy and tiring city visit, it is wonderfully relaxed to sit at this spot on the water. Recommended 👍🏻

Beautiful place to spend the night. If you are on time there is a flat spot to be found.
