1/4/24 very quiet safe place to stay we stayed 5 nights €25 per night for 2 people and 3 dogs. ski bus pass for whole valley included approx 200m from gondola nice village adjacent with all facilities required. Electricity and use of clean toilet included yes there is a bit of a storage area for things but considering there is no other place to stay in the whole valley with any facilities that we can find it’s a good option.

lovely quiet campsite €19 for 2 with Acsi 8/7/23 looks like the motorhome aire isn’t in use but it’s only €3 more for campsite good washing machine , nice little pool fab boulangerie 2 mins away on bike also pizza place and general organic store. Rode to Roland gorge on bikes. a bit of main road then quiet lanes. very nice. !

only ones here middle of November before any snow. As mentioned previously the service point is old and you can only really empty your black and grey waste. water is a plastic tap that runs for 15 seconds so you can get 2 litres of water in a bottle. very quiet place before the ski season.

As described , by the road opposite the lake so noisy but lovely walk into old town took us 30 mins via the lakeside No facilities but water can be taken from the public toilets in the car park to the rear of the motorhome parking area if you have a collapsible water carrier like we have. 10 other Motorhomes here middle of November but plenty of space.

really nice quiet site in woods. You must have €10 in coins for the machine which includes electric water €1 as and wc emptying is passed the pay meter at top of the hill. Great for walking and cycling large lovely lake next to park place

Really nice peaceful site. great for biking super views of river and vineyards lovely town easily accessible by bike. Bread came by van around 9 am. Good choice available. As mentioned restaurant out of entrance across the road within 100m is just lovely. Flamkutchen especially nice. Definitely recommend.

very nice gravelled area. great for bike riding 11km to Heidelberg. 11km to Mannheim on bike tracks. short walk to centre of pretty town. €11 per night plus extra for electric, pay with coins at the tower and WiFi pay and sign up online. good for walking dogs too. was very busy when we were here.

wow ! what a clean town and campsite ! very very tidy. the site is small but absolutely fine. totally quiet at night. not a sound. ! great breakfast in the hotel for €4. odd town full of spas. great for cycling and walking. Not a child to be seen anywhere. Good restaurants and Netto and Aldi within walking distance l we were the only English in the whole area.

just brilliant for visiting Sofia. easy to find , quiet area outside city in motorhome and caravan storage area. good size with gravel surface surrounded by fencing and locked gates. toilet , shower and washing machine. not particularly scenic but very safe and owners very very helpful. ordered taxis ( about €7 to centre ) and exchanged money for us. Definitely recommend for the €12 including electric.

parking as already described. we parked by the railway station next to it. no problems. Nice bakery across the road

nice campsite. clean and tidy. Beach ok. can cycle easily into Gythio if you go along the beach then up through a village onto main road. ok with an Ebike but if normal bike easier on main road. Only one supermarket in the town which closes in afternoon till 5.30. All facilities apart from nearly empty mini market and limited taverna food were shut. ( 14/9 )

harbour nice enough. the parking is in a very small scruffy car park begins the taverna. we probably would have stayed but in the car park in the corner was a large scabby noisy dog which was Tied up next to a small kennel. I disagree with Greek people doing this to dogs and I find it distressing. Didn’t want to look at it all night so drove on to camping meltemi

really nice clean quiet site when we visited in early September. nice swimming in the sea from pebbly small beach. would recommend if you want to relax and have a break from visiting ancient sites. we are 7.8m and managed steep drive ok.

Great site. Not many places for motorhomes but we got a great pitch with a shaded roof. Beach on site which is fabulous.great taverna with good local menu.supermarket 1km to west town 4km which is lovely. Really worth staying in my opinion. Weather great as well. !

Excellent place to stop to see the trulli.very tidy. €20 including everything. Ok the attendant wasn’t mr personality plus but that’s ok. Was very safe and tidy. Go passed the 1st barrier you see If coming from Bari direction and turn right to enter at the street in a few metres we were fine on a flat bit. Lots of vans but wasn’t an issue. Would definitely recommend it.

Absolutely terrible .awful place if you hate very loud music and shouting till the early hours of the morning from adjacent beach bar it’s a beach car park next to a bar. The beach is full of awful umbrellas and there is plenty of rubbish on it.The restaurant itself is a cafe by day which is tidy enough and opens for evening meals at 8. Didn’t eat there.€12 to park. Showers locked at 5 pm.

Small tidy little area next to police station on the edge of a nice little town. Easy to walk to round a nice castle Electric went off a few times but we flipped the switch. About 8 other vans. Safe enough.

Fair place to stay ,designated part at end of car park on edge of small town. Quiet when we were there 5/2/20. Short walk to pleasant town. Felt safe. Didn’t use new service totem.

New car park for motorhomes next to open land used for various exhibitions. Just off main road near town centre. Barrier entry easy to use with card.choose 2 12 or 24 hours. Well lit, quiet on 11/2/20. Water wasn’t working when we stayed was switched off even though weather was mild. The WiFi worked really well. No password required just put in email address at log in.

Big car park. No facilities as stated. Plenty of room when we stayed 12/2/20. Police drive through occasionally through the night. 2 bistros very close which were open but we didn’t visit them. Nice walk to beach through the village. 15 mins to tunnel.

Nice clean quiet place to stay. Dog friendly walks. Good little town. But 200 steps up if you go via the Château walls ! You have been warned ! Would definitely stay again. It was busy with motorhomes and have to park quite close.

Absolutely only 3 places. 2 there already at 10am. Possibly park on road maybe. Water and waste a little unkempt. Right by the river Bread across road at mini market.

Very very quiet. 15 min drive off main road. Water and waste was ok but grass growing over it so not sure how long ago it was used Basically on car park on edge of tiny village. There was a restaurant/bar but was shut so you definitely need to have food. ( it was Monday ) No other shops etc. It was ok but nothing special.

Really convenient for the motorway (2km) en route to Calais. Quiet car park but with bar and restaurant etc within very short walk. Only 2 allocated places but we stayed in the large car park which had spaces didnt seem to be a problem. Stayed Saturday night so no problem

Really tidy ,clean site with great staff. We were here beginning of August so packed out with kids so incredibly noisy for us as our kids are grown up. That’s just the way it is in the school holidays though. You can bike into town ( 500m) where there is a patisserie , small supermarket and pharmacy. On site there is a chippy , which is ok. All in all a good site if you like kids.

Perfect for ferry parking. Stayed overnight. Free after 5 and before 9am. Lit roads felt safe, normal traffic noise. Right by beach for nice for a walk, short walk to Marco Pierre white restaurant and other bars.

Quiet level field with ehc if required for £15. Facilities not great. Great pub though a short walk away and a small supermarket

Not far off the motorway so the down side is the noise from it which is quite loud. The pub is being refurbished but the food was ok and the service was very good. Hard standing was right next to the river. We counted 16 vans but more could have fitted onto the normal car park.

Owner really friendly, unfortunately we arrived at 5.30pm on a Sunday and he told us they shut at 6pm. He did however offer us milk ,and anything else we might need. He also suggested a pub a mile away that did food. Nice area easy to find. Good walk next to it for the dogs. Slightly sloping car park so levellers needed.

Does what it says on the tin ! It's an overnight stop in a car park next to the tunnel ! Hard to find the entrance in the dark. Was noisy at times obviously, but it was free and felt safe.

Brilliant!! Amazing restaurant, food top notch and not that expensive. Just watch out our for the fierce little dog in the restaurant ! Quiet place by a great fishing pond. Recommend!!!!

Very busy got the last place but overflow in adjacent car park. No one came to collect money , we stayed Sunday evening and left after 9 am in case anyone came. Town was a bit of a let down if I’m honest as it was completely shut on a Sunday apart from a few bars /pubs in a line and the one we stopped at charged €7.50 for a pint of Guinness and €4.50 for a small wine. Good job site was free !!

Really tidy little site with electric and water. Very handy for the nice little town which has loads of shops and supermarkets. Safe and secure with helpful staff. Not a particularly scenic site but you can see the mountains in the distance. Would recommend as no other services sites in the area.

Really nice large gravel and grass parking. The beautiful historic little town is literally a couple of minutes walk away. There are some lovely little shops selling local produce and a few restaurants and cafes. We parked right beside the river only 3 other vans here. It was safe and quiet. Water and waste emptying only. Entry via a barrier payment by card on entry. Really easy. Recommend !

Tidy parking,easy enough to find not far off motorway. Was quite busy as a stopover place. We walked around the small town which was not too inspiring apart from some nice trees , however you can walk straight onto the canal bank from the park and go on a nice walk in either direction. All in all a good place to stop fir the night. Felt safe !

Very easy to find off motorway, quiet parking area next to large car park so seems ok to park in there if full. Beautiful walk right next to the parking with deer, wild boar etc. Fabulous boulangerie chemist and Butchers In 5 minute walk. Lots of cash machines but no supermarket to walk to. Great stopover from Calais to the south.

Easy to find and as already said by others 6 places 4 with electric. Only one other van when we were there. Marina was locked up so no shower wc or anywhere to empty chemical toilet that we could see. Safe enough street to park on. Great easy bike ride into Bruges. Track right by motorhome. Great supermarket in town but not much else. We only found one bar 10 minute walk away on main road.

Very nice clean facilities at the small marina. Jopie the harbour masters wife went the extra mile as the washing machine was broken so she did our washing in her own home !! We were very grateful. The small town a 5 minute walk away is very nice with a lovey restaurant number 7 the market place is well worth a visit. Pity the area is spoilt by a large ugly factory in the background of the town.

A nice enough car park at the mine museum. Very quiet when we stayed only 2 other vans.2 Euro coins needed for 12 hours of electric. We walked into town approx 10 minutes. Nice bakery and butchers small supermarket. Had a drink in a bistro. Not much in the town. Bit dismal. Surrounding area undulating and I believe nice bike and hiking trails according to the info board at the mine.

Really nice place. Very secure and great to ride bikes into Maastricht centre which is fabulous even in December. Amazing restaurant just outside gates ( shut Monday) Supermarket within walking distance. Would definitely recommend

This place is odd !! There is the campsite then what appears to be a motorhome stop. It’s all really on the same site. We stayed on the not stopover bit. The whole place is very clean nice and very accessible to valkenburg however at £40 Ish a night with 2 dogs was prohibitively expensive.

Briliant safe place to stay. Clean and tidy In a lovely area. Easy walk to bars and restaurants.
