Booked a year ago. Upon arrival, I was assigned a spot next to the entrance, against a wall, with no sun. Spots 23 and 24 turned out to be the only spots for campers who haven't been here for years! It turned out to be a communication error, but that's no use when you arrive! Old washing machines that promptly broke down, forcing me to transfer all my wet laundry to the one that still worked. No, definitely skip this CP (even if you plan to live there!).

Closed until further notice due to a dispute with neighbors. Why aren't we surprised? We found the owner's interactions irritating and frustrating. It's no surprise to us that his neighbors are fed up with him!

At organic farm: neglected impression; open shed with old junk everywhere, rusty washing machine in dirty shed with moldy washing powder next to it. Outdated sanitary facilities. Nothing has been cleaned up or renewed here for a long time. Lots of weeds + dried cow pats (= organic?). Despite timely reservation, improvised place given, not on field, on tractor track! next to trampoline with jumping and screaming children until 21:00; for €30 per day!

Stayed here for the second time for 3 weeks. It's not the hospitality; nice ladies at the reception but we found the direct surroundings to have deteriorated a lot compared to last year. Half demolished building for the first row of campers, motorcycle and squad driving directly on the path in front of the CP with a lot of noise. Locals with drinks who preferred to stay in front of the CP. Waste and plastic everywhere, even in the nature reserves. Such a shame!

Perfectionist camper place which is reflected in the planting, the grass and the luxurious sanitary facilities. V-shaped layout which means that places 9 and 16 are next to each other (parked behind each other) which means little privacy. Mandatory house mats for the camper. No washing up facilities. We found it all a bit clinical. Situated on a busy road which makes a lot of noise.

Stayed here for a week at the waterfront (spots 3 to 8, rest) and it was actually disappointing. A lot of noise from the adjacent swimming pool (open until 22/9) and the highway. Peace and quiet was hard to find. Few boats in the Bolswarder canal. Sanitary facilities minimal and dated. Washing dishes: bad luck if the hot water runs out (small boiler). Friendly volunteers. Beautiful bike rides to Sneek and Bolsward. Next time we will look for a better spot in Friesland.

Beautiful CP where we liked to come from the beginning. Read on the website that dogs are more than welcome, partly because of the good walking opportunities. We also experienced that with our 2 dachshunds. Unfortunately, €1.50 per dog is now being asked, which brings the total price for us to €25 per night. We do not understand this "dog tax" (extra profit model?). Very unfortunate, but we are dropping out!

Visited this CP; nicely maintained CP with beautiful luxury sanitary facilities but what a pity that most campers are arranged in a "caravan setup" along a pond. Because of this very little privacy with regard to your neighbors. Most campers do not like this in our opinion. There are a number of places where you can place the camper according to the usual setup but unfortunately not many. Too bad! We drove on to De Pekelaar.

Beautiful campsite, quiet (still without children), clean sanitary facilities, large pitches, choose your own. Great restaurant, very atmospheric, with good menu, top chef! The only downside we experienced: 2 antisocial Dutch people, both verbally and physically, who felt it necessary to suddenly shout at us because our dachshund suddenly dropped 2 drops (after an extensive exhaust service elsewhere). Truly shameless and baffling!

Neat free overnight stay, electricity €2 for 12 hours, only in a few places. 15 places are not feasible, locals also park their cars in this place. Too bad about the antisocial Germans who were there playing loud music, without taking others into account. Something contemporary perhaps?

This is really not a stop & go place! 90 campers, most without much space, with winter visitors from all over the world. Messy whole. Got an improvised spot under the clothesline of another camper spot with noisy French people. From now on, just continue on the same road for another 5 minutes to the real stop&go La Rotonda, which is perfect!

Please note: the first stop&go CP on this road turns out to be La Volta campsite and that is not where you want to be as a serious camper, with 20 cm of space between the campers and many noisy French people who almost live here. However, Garmin does not recognize the address of the new CP La Rotonda because it does not have a house number. So just drive another 5 minutes, ALONG the La Volta campsite, and everything will be fine!

On arrival we received a laminated A4 with info and rules on both sides + form regarding rules for the dog; with words like "do shit, bags, clean up. And pay in advance! On places 2 and 3 and 8 and 9, the campers must be placed at right angles to each other, so that there is no privacy whatsoever. The other 5 places are around an invisible pool (weeds + lots of mosquitoes!). Fixed plastic mats for camper door. Many rules, kindergarten feeling!

Cp places, plumbing and friendliness owners fine. Yet we missed atmosphere in this place, so we left earlier than planned. This was partly caused by (older) fellow campers who thought it necessary to comment in advance on our 2 small dogs. They could sometimes start barking .... We prefer to avoid these types of campers. Too bad people have become like this!

Reserved a place but drove away on arrival: no paradise for us!. Tight places on a kind of concrete parking lot in an industrial area at a boat rental company with a strip of grass. Little similarity with the photos shown. There are nicer places on the water in Friesland. We are now fully satisfied with 1 of them!

What a beautiful, well-kept CP! Ton was warmly welcomed in the absence of the owners. View over the potato fields, with great pleasure spent 3 days in a very quiet environment. We'll be back!!

What a disappointing experience! Reserved in April. However, on arrival there is still 1 spot available (the first to come chooses the best spot, stand in line for it!). And what kind of place, no. 5. Right next to the waste containers and with a view of the passers-by toilet building. Plus at the entrance. Everything dry and dusty. Doesn't look anything like the pictures at all. Very impersonal. Driven away quickly. Money returned in good order. Never again!!!

Too bad that due to the conflict with the neighbors and the court decision, the amount of space for the motorhomes has been significantly reduced. Partly because of this, we think the quality of this CP has deteriorated considerably. Add to that the fact that there can be quite a bit of noise pollution with regard to traffic, mowing the lawn as soon as a camper leaves (even on Sunday morning) and jet fighters that come over. No, it's not our place anymore!

With Ascension stood here for 4 nights and for me this CP is at a lonely height! Small and very quiet. Ideal for absolute peace seekers! Beautifully maintained estate where everything is right!

Super CP! Very friendly welcome: you immediately feel welcome! Many spacious pitches with a beautiful view over the meadows, but arrive early otherwise these pitches are always occupied! Good Wifi, good sanitary facilities. In short, everything is in tip-top shape!

Beautiful spacious pitches, lots of greenery, between the tree nurseries. The peace was less during our stay: mowing and wood chip activities on 2 sides all day. I assume this doesn't happen every week! Beautiful cycling routes in this area.

Reserved by e-mail a week in advance. However, on arrival before closed gate with sign "full". Looking for owner it turned out that our requested place was occupied. "I can hardly keep the place occupied all week". On the spot that was kept open was a closed camper that would not leave until 5am. We could wait a few hours on a lawn according to the owner. Drove away!

Beautiful CP, pitches shielded by hedges, giving a lot of privacy on the spot. However, many campers on top of each other: 50 places in rows next to each other is a bit massive.

What a top place! Went here 2x a weekend with Cees and Annie. Rarely met such nice owners with a feeling for the camper life. Beautiful places, free arrangement and a great view. Forest across the street. We are an absolute fan of this top place! Candidate for the 1st prize 2020 NKC !!

Beautiful CP, in the green, with a very large group of returning motor home owners. When we returned for the 2nd consecutive weekend there were still open places marked with palettes by other motor home owners for still-acquaintances !! Inappropriate!! Good cycling in the area. Too bad you have to pay an extra 5 euros in the late season (3 campers present!) If staying longer than 12 hours.

Beautiful, spacious camper pitches. New sanitary building, clean. Not really cheap: extra 3 euros per night for a dog. Great environment!

Been here last weekend. Liked. Warm welcome with coffee and cake by the 2 owners. Own folder with information and cycling routes! Beautiful camper pitches among the regular camping guests. Very clean sanitary. Nice cycling routes to Budel and Varkenswaard. We will definitely be back !!

Excellent campsite with a separate campsite field. No use of plumbing. Wi-Fi great. What we do not understand is that on Sunday morning at half past ten mowing had to be done at the campsite with a motorized mower. Deafening noise, mowing between the camper and awnings, coming back up to 6 times. People were having breakfast in front of their tent!

Pleasant CP, friendly welcome by sister of owner. However, we did not experience the tranquility described in other reviews this weekend. The private family swimming pool, directly adjacent to the CP spots, was open for fam and many grandchildren. Especially the whole Saturday a noise from 7:00 pm. Also partly still on Sunday. Beautiful area for cycling.

Great camper place, especially for dog owners! Very customer-friendly owners. Relaxed atmosphere. Nice sanitary building. Very handy place for dirty water discharge. Nice that there are no unnecessary "extras" such as hot tubs, infrared sauna or schnitzels: just a CP as it should be. Peacefully quiet. Beautiful cycling routes. We are a fan!

Nice cp, but annoyed by traffic noise from busy road. Number of facilities available without adding value for a cp: eg outside fitness equipment nb just in front of a camper place! Lots of rules that are loved by the older public. Compliance is strictly monitored by fellow motor home owners !! Little privacy in many places. Owners stiff and not really customer friendly. Beautiful cycling routes.

What a great camper place !. Everything arranged perfectly. Spacious camper place, wonderfully quiet. Beautiful bathroom, spotless. Everything has been thought of. Owner very friendly and has built everything himself. We are fans of this wonderful location!
