Very sadly, no waste dump for toilet anymore and water turned off in winter. we stayed here in 2/22 and we could discharge toilet waste and use the water. a bit of a letdown, but the skiing is good and the ski school is great. itโ€™s a shame the facilities have gone backwards.

unfortunately returned on 31/12/2021 and itโ€™s now locked and Enterprise rental parking only!

Lovely spot with a great view. Stayed one night with one other camper. Local kids in cars were congregating peacefully until about 11pm. Quiet afterwards. Great to wake up to the view over Plymouth Sound. Lack of facilities is typical for UK, there are public toilets however.

Lovely please for a stopover. Bakery open even though itโ€™s August. The river is beautiful with bar. Picnic tables on site. Not much shade though. Nice little town. The church is right on the doorstep too and is interesting. Itโ€™s a stopover, not a destination, but a very good one.

If you want to stay on Ile de Re there maybe better places than this. The site is very small with tight pitches. Itโ€™s next to a campsite which evidentially owns the aire. Itโ€™s an afterthought to cash in on motorhome market. Close to nice beaches. Beach Bar de Re is a nice restaurant nearby. We werenโ€™t very relaxed here, stayed 1 night. Our kids snuck into campsite for bouncy castle & playground.

Very convenient for La Rochelle, which is a lovely port city. Nice old parts and a pleasant feel. The aire is well laid out and has good modern facilities. Laundrette on the roundabout just outside which is useful. Cycling is very easy with good cycle ways everywhere. Ile de Re is a good visit. We stayed there also. See my other review as we stayed there the next day. Would visit again.

Second visit. Very lovely area. Atlantic coastal beaches as well as man-made saltwater lake fed from sea by weir. 48hour parking only. We stayed longer by accident as a review said you could. Machine only accepts โ‚ฌ50 max by card we had โ‚ฌ56 to pay! Had to phone and police municipale came. Then had to get cash! Also we stopped 1 night at roadside and had parking ticket. Still highly recommended.

Very nice stopover. We were alone here 14/8/2019. Free water and electric. So quiet. Lovely vineyards.

Lovely and very welcoming aire. Very tranquil village and the locals really make the effort. Bakery closed Wednesdays. Church bells chime until 10pm and cease until 7am. Free water, itโ€™s worth taking water from the end of the communal shed as the taps by the waste/grey dump have no screw connection. Quite a way off the beaten track, but with it.

A very handy stopover for Chartres. A short and pleasant bike ride on the cycle path. The road was a bit noisy and worst of all we had our silver screen exterior insulated windscreen cover stolen. Probably our own stupidity in not taking it off when we went into the city. think it was the angry couple on the Motorhome next door. We left our waste tap open by accident which they didnโ€™t like!

Had to give it an 8 despite no facilities. Such a nice place to stop and wonderful/beautiful gardens. Well worth stopping over night before and having a really good look around the abbey and gardens the next day. Shady and quiet.

Handy for supermarket. Very good value Pizza Pai restaurant with fabulous salad bar. We have stayed twice purely for convenience to eurotunnel. Water dump by petrol station, again convenient. Itโ€™s a commercial car park so expect nothing more and you wonโ€™t be disappointed.

Uninspiring. Interesting history of the German defences and the marshland nature reserve is pretty. But the town is completely dead next to the parking and bland. No facilities.

This is a very good stopover for anyone just wanting to see the city and not worried about facilities (there are none). City centre overflow car park for over height vehicles for the multi-storey, so donโ€™t expect frills. Itโ€™s cheap though. 5pm-7am is ยฃ2! Leave by 9am & itโ€™s ยฃ5 total. Great access for the shopping centre and all of the city. Very convenient. As expected, itโ€™s a bit noisy at night.

Beautiful spot & nice beach. Good views of Portsmouth with ships/boats/birds. Pub 300m NW. Walk/cycle on seafront SE to Seaview village 1km & NW to Ryde 3km. Flat paved terrain for bicycles both directions. Puckpool Park 400m NW with playground perfect for kids & historic WW2 gun battery. Seaview is a small sailing village with pubs/hotel. Ryde busier large town & seafront with bus/train stations.

Only two places to park, so an early arrival having called ahead advisable. Excellent and I mean excellent menu. Very nice. The owners are motorhomers and are very welcoming. Free WiFi in pub. Ales are magnificent also.

Amazing, especially when it has full facilities and all free! Lovely little stop. Great shop where we bought pรขtรฉ. Word of warning, the animals are lovely; goats, chickens, horses, BUT the roosters crow early in the morning, so donโ€™t go expecting a lie in!

For a city location, wow! If you take a right out of the car park and go immediately under the bridge along cycle way you arrive at a man made but very nice beach on the lake. Beautiful. Nice shady spots. Recommended. Would stay again.

Really feel the need to recommend this place.Nice pitches friendly staff, restful and peaceful. Pool very nice with bar playing music quietly. Nice shower block. Only โ‚ฌ21 for family of 4 without electric. You can pay nearly that for an overcrowded aire! We stayed an extra night. Local area nothing special, but just nice to stay on site.

We didnโ€™t stay here, the city is okay but a bit rundown. Lacks the polish you come to expect a lot of French cities. We were somewhat indifferent to it. The parking location is okay however, but with no waste dump or water. A bit disappointed. Funicular is the best bit!

Good location,l. A bit noisy at night time. Slight pikey feel to it, but hey, roll with it! Nice beaches which can followed out of the estuary to the wild Atlantic coast which is very nice. Surfers on this beach. Quite a busy resort 800 metres away on beach with restaurants etc. Would stop again if travelling this way, but perhaps would not make it a destination. Nice shade under trees.

Stayed 3 nights. Showers ok. Waste water drain/toilet dump/fresh water facility excellent. No swimming pool is a let down as beaches not great. Not massively inspiring, but Dune de Pilat is worth seeing (largest sand dunes in Europe). Canโ€™t say anything terrible, but wouldnโ€™t rush back to this campsite. Adequate.

Extremely convenient stop to look around historic Roman/medieval city. Gothic cathedral impressive and old quarter pretty and quirky. No facilities but if your prepared then not a problem. Stayed end of July. Arrived 1600hrs and lots of room. Sun rises behind hill, so early morning is shaded and cool. Evening sun bathes the green area between car parks. Lovely. Would stay again for sure.

A very nice, clean town centre location. Peaceful at night. Used this on the way down to Le Mans 24 hour endurance race.

Convenient for pool & showers at leisure centre. Local town is very much what you expect of โ€˜oldโ€™ Ireland. Authentic feel. Somewhat down at heel & clearly poor area which made us nervous, but we stayed overnight. Abbey ruins very interesting. The water filling facility was knackered. Eject waste water and toilet ok though. Kids playground onsite. By the river and we found it peaceful.

Nice place to stay. Very quiet with the stream running over a small waterfall. Electric on some sites. Nice pint of Guinness at Dan Murphyโ€™s pub where you pay for over night. Waste water is small and you canโ€™t really get over it with a long home, So had to eject onto the gravel. The town is very nice of some excellent pubs/restaurants. Check TripAdvisor.

Very nice view across the bay and to the mountains. Jack pub next door modern and clean, good food and service. A very handy place to stop for a tour of the Ring of Kerry. No facilities.

A very nice modern site. Excellent facilities. My only gripe is paying for use of showers. Surely should be included? Nice games room, showerblock etc. The staff are very nice and put on and Easter egg hunt for the kids, despite it being 4 Celsius and raining! Smart and worth paying for. If you are going to pay, you just as well have a decent site. Recommended. Train track runs alongside. Quiet.

A perfectly acceptable place to stop for the convenience of visiting Bristol. There is adequate parking, but the bit of road we stayed on is busy even into the night. There is nothing of great interest about the actual spot, although there is green space around it. We stayed as a halfway halt between Southampton to Fishguard, en route to Ireland. Given the lack of Parkings in UK, this is okay.

Looks ok, interesting bars, nice on Seine. However, we couldnโ€™t stopover as we desperately needed water. The Jeton was token only, supposedly provided by the local bakery. The bakery said they & other outlets for tokens no longer did so, as they had repeated problems with tokens not working & people complaining. If you donโ€™t need the water facilities, no problems! WC & great water disposal all OK

Very nicely kept site with secluded plots with abundant hedgerows between them for extra privacy. Good facilities. The indoor pool with slides and outdoor play area with bouncy castles are fantastic and the kids love it! Bread daily. Moules frites excellent. Surrounding areas and cycleways interesting and scenic. Stayed with our kids 4&6, were not disappointed and you won't be either. Recommended
