A lovely, small & friendly campsite!! Other review sites suggest campsite is more suitable for small campervans but several 7.5m motorhomes here including ourselves. friendly welcome; showers and toilets are clean and comfortable with toilet paper, hand soap and toilet seats - lovely bar onsite and serving food (date today 22/Oct). Quiet, secluded and a feeling of calm. The Campsite is likely to close late October/early November so call to check

quiet Aire, parking on relatively level hard surface. €10 per unit per night, honestly box. toilets and pay per use showers available. village 10 mins, pubs, shops, takeaways etc. nice views of the Shannon. toilet empty point, 1 taps and grey can be emptied by bucket etc. will be quiet when others are full. you get a lot for not a lot.

excellent place, my favourite in Greece. great facilities, lovely beach, great pitch, and good food in the restaurant. Vasilis could not have been more helpful, a great host.

the previous person gave a 1 star review without staying on the campsite because they were not given the ACSI rate. I’ve looked at the date they arrived and the ACSI rate didn’t start until later that month. I’m staying here now October 23 using the ACSI rate. the site is nice a choice of pitches with shade or more open pitches facing the sandy beach.

very helpful reception staff. across a quiet road from the campsite is a cycle path and the beach. I chose the standard pitch as we were only staying for 1 night. it was more than adequate for our 7.5m long camper. on a personal note I don’t like 6amp electric, we don’t consume much electricity but what do use are not suitable for 6amp. but equally I can understand why it is only 6 amp. it just meant we could use some of our items.

really lovely campsite. the only noise at night is the river which is nice to hear. great walks in the immediate area. facilities are ideal. I would have liked to stay longer but we are on a mission. the gentleman on reception was very helpful. personally I thought for what the site provided it was good value for money.

stayed here for the weekend 18 to 21 of Nov 22. the site is great with lots to see and do in the area, being off the coast but still on a route north or south made me want to stay without being over crowded, we had a lovely big spacious pitch (6) we went in forwards for the views, amazing. the dog had plenty of different walks. Hosts were very good at responding to emails and very helpful. It opened in 2021 and is a gem of a place. thanks J&A

on arrival met the owner/manager on site and he was very polite and helpful, he gave us some pitch options and pointed out pros and cons of each pitch, e.g. no shade or some shade, sun in the evening etc. facilities on site a very good for a commercial Aire and €12 inc ehu is great for what you get. WiFi good, showers, laundry, etc, walking distance to every thing you’d want. great set up.

Really not nice. Their website states the shower block was refurbished in 2018, well if was they didn’t do a good job. No room in the shower to get dry. All paths and roads very muddy yes I know there has been lots of rain but that’s why paths are needed not just grass. Hard standings are narrow and difficult to access without driving on grass. £28 is too much for the state of the site.

Really nice site, very quiet. I only wish we had provisions on board for a longer stay as there are no shops close by. Friendly and helpful owners, big pitches and very cheap at €10 per night, ehu extra.

Very quiet no boy racers barking dogs etc. Good river walks.

One of the best thought out sites in Spain

Lovely location on a non windy day. No services apart from bins. Downside for me tents in scrubland beside the Carpark and others on the Carpark using the scrubland as toilets very blatantly. Caravans and day vans just using the environment as a toilet

3rd time here in 12 months and it’s been improved every time over the 3 visits, swimming pool now under cover, service point enhanced. Now an Indian restaurant just a short walk away in addition to the Nepalese restaurant. 2 things that could improve the site, hand dryers in sanitary blocks and higher speed WiFi. I see some people have said small pitches but there are plenty of very big ones.

Very good location and nice sized spaces and good value at €10 per night inc ehu. Access can be a challenge steep and narrow but doable

For me this place is a bit confused an aire trying to be a campsite and €15 inc ehu is more than most in the area. Owner helpful, good views. Small site.

Great site at a very reasonable price €12 with Acsi card lovely views across the river to Portugal. 13 kg washing machines only €3 dryers €2 plenty of places to put lines up. Not busy during our stay 5 nights end of October 19. WiFi actually not too bad for free WiFi. 2 negatives being; barking dogs at night which is common in Spain and Portugal and the showers take ages to get hot, push button

Lovely beaches and great walks along side the aire. Pitches are too small to park in as intended so most vans have to park sideways on. The pitches slope and as no camping behaviour is detailed levellers should not be used, although some did. 2 taps but they are not signed so I did not fill up here. €4 for 24 hours is a fair price.
