A great centrally located base for visiting the Spreewald. A nice, friendly owner who shows you around the facilities upon arrival. Everything is there, with even the option to buy food and drinks on a trust basis. Where do you find this anymore? The campsite itself could use some attention to maintenance. The terrain is far from level; the grass is too high. It gives an unkempt impression, even though the toilets and showers are clean.

This campsite is an excellent base for visiting Berlin. Everything a camper needs is available at the site. Close to public transport and shops. Sights are within cycling distance. And yes, there are city noises at the site; to what extent is it bothersome?
