What a lovely place and relaxed owner. She is a veterinarian and has 28 well-cared-for cats. You can choose your own spot among the olive trees. Beautiful view. Nice swimming pool. You can cycle to beautiful Syracuse from here. Taxi service 20 euros one way. Plenty of clean sanitary facilities and amenities. You use the washing machine on the assurance that you will settle the bill afterwards. We are staying here for 5 days and renting a car to see the surroundings.

It is a nice camper spot with steps down to the sea. The lady at reception is very friendly and runs things smoothly. A bus stops around the corner to go to Taomina. Tickets are for sale on the bus. It costs 5.20 euros one way for 2 people. I can recommend it. The campsite village has a long promenade where there wasn't much activity during the day while we were there. Restaurants there only open later in the evening.

Very friendly owners, everything you need as a camper is there, the sea is just a few minutes' bike ride through the forest, cycling to the charming town of Otranto is easy via a back road, they were still open on September 22nd, and they are currently building a restaurant that will open next year. So, highly recommended. A small downside... one washing machine is not enough.

It should be prohibited to build such a fine facility along a terribly busy road. Or build a sound barrier. We also had the bad luck of getting one of the last spots. It would be better a bit lower down on the site. However, in terms of location and facilities, it is fine. The sanitary facilities are clean. The shuttle bus to beautiful Matera is very nice. Fortunately, we went straight to the city and were able to leave again after 1 night.

We agree with the other reviews. Because of the olive trees there is always a place in the shade. The owners speak Dutch, Spanish, English and Italian. They have owned it since December 2022 and together they are well on their way to making it a gem. Everything you need in terms of camper facilities is available. Top spot and it can only get better.

In addition to all the facts already mentioned, I would like to state this. Very nice that these 2 places are there. The location gives an urban feeling. It felt very nice, even for me as a woman alone. The environment is busy. If you take this for what it is, the location close to the center is fine. After me came a camper and there was no more room. Quite desirable, therefore, this urban location.
