Open from 1st of March not far from A20.. This is a lovely site for a stopover (or longer) quiet and peaceful. The village is only a 5-minute walk, has a lovely bakery and butcher and cafΓ©s/restaurants. Excellent for walking and cycling. In March, there is only one heated room open for mixed use showers/toilets with lovely hot showers. We come again. The managers are welcoming and helpful.

We stayed here for 3 wonderful days. The views, the wildlife, and the hospitality from Arnaud are outstanding. The nightskies are studed with millions of stars in the darkness. The village of Payzac offers a fantastic bakery and butcher and also a supermarket. There are many cycling and hiking options in beautiful surroundings. We will be back!

Note: Do not drive through village. Look at foto (yellow route) for road towards football pitch and swimming pool. We stopped here on a very windy day and were nicely protected by the large pine trees. The area is clean and has everthing you need with a nice view. The village offers restaurants and cafΓ©s. The mummy museum is right next to the parking and there are storks nesting on top of the museum tower.

Very nice quiet campsite in unspoilt natural surroundings. All you can hear is bird song and crickets. All facilities are well maintained, the swimming pool looks inviting and the owners are extremely helpful. The restaurant offers lovely meals and bread service. we had no difficulty to reach the site with our 7.5m motorhome. Lovely walks and cycling opportunities.

Excellent, clean, peaceful and quiet small CP with lovely hiking and cycling paths near by. Marcos is an excellent host and the wines we tasted were delicious - needless to say we bought loadsπ. On Friday a local meat and cheese merchant offers his local produce from the back of his van. Clean shower and toilet available.

1.2.2023 We were hier for 5 nights. This is the most beautiful camper stop we have been to in a longtime. The facilities are excellent and the hosts are wonderful. If you like peace and quiet, bird song, hiking, cycling, stunning views and exceptionally dark starry skies you will love it here. The nearby town with castle has everything as well.

We were here in August 2018. Beautiful mixed parking overlooking the bay. Dolphins at the end of the harbour entrance. Unfortunately the joyriders were here all night and we didn't sleep a wink. Although they didn't directly bother us. Such a shame. Great Indian take away about 5min walk away.
