A large campsite nestled in nature with plenty of separate pitches. Flat terrain⊠Clean sanitary facilities, plenty of hot showers, a communal kitchen, and free washing machine and dryer. A very good place to stay, an excellent, well-laid-out and equipped campsite đđđ
Sitecode: 158289
The campsite is adequately laid out, but there's a lot of traffic and very few electrical hookups for campervans⊠first come, first served. The sanitary facilities are decent, but only one shower, which is insufficient for the number of visitors. Hot water is available in the shower and for washing dishes. The price is quite competitive: 2000 ISK per person and 1500 ISK for electricity.

We had to pay 35,000 ISK (âŹ247) for one night for two people because of the "solar eclipse" event â it's a real rip-off! Outrageous! And for that price, there isn't even hot water, and the shower is extra! On the other hand, the site and the atmosphere are magnificent, and the campsite is well laid out, with clean facilities and spacious pitches on grassâŠ

The campsite is well-equipped with washing machines and sanitary facilities â but due to the high traffic, it's noticeably less clean than elsewhere â and the pitches are spacious and plentiful. However, the basic outdoor shower really needs to be installed in a building or bungalow â given the campsite's popularity, it's not very inviting.

Large, very well-laid-out and equipped campsite: communal kitchen, clean restrooms with large showers⊠Pitches with breathtaking views of the fjord (beautiful sunsets) and even an indoor swimming pool (for a fee, of course). Superb! đ It was very pleasant to spend the night in this quiet and beautiful place. The village is very pretty too.

A small, family-run campsite in an unlikely location, in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by unspoiled nature. Well-equipped bungalows with toilets and hot showers supplied directly by mountain water. It's basic but very clean, with a magnificent view of the valley on one side and the ocean on the other.

Ideally located in a charming village. Spacious grassy pitches, clean sanitary facilities, and washing machines and dryers in a well-maintained campsite. In short, a very well-equipped campsite. Negative point: the lack of showers; there's a queue in the evening and morning⊠you have to find the right time to take a shower!

A large, welcoming campsite with spacious, grassy pitches on several levels. You can set up wherever you like; sinks are available throughout for washing up, and there are several toilet blocks. However, there could be more showers in the campsite, especially for pitches further out. The view of the village is breathtaking đ The site is magnificent.

The campsite is well laid out on a grassy area, with clearly marked and level pitches (you're assigned a pitch, you don't choose it, but it doesn't matter in my opinion!). The facilities are excellent: a large communal room for preparing meals and chatting with other campers, clean toilets and showers, and even a laundry area. The place is quiet, like many campsites in Iceland.
