Arrived here after a long drive, no English spoken and a rather cold reception from the owners. Many “settled” travellers appear to live here so site was noisy with DIY and lawn mowers. Was very expensive, cafe quite grubby and our electric point didn’t work effectively. Couldn’t wait to leave.

Lovely quiet little site with basic but clean facilities. A warm welcome awaits from the owners who were attentive throughout our stay. Big draw for us was to frolic in the river which we could not do due to a bacterial infection down stream. A major disappointment but we had a fabulous time despite this. We will return and fingers will be crossed for clean water.

Riverside site very busy. Full when we arrived but they fitted us in on the hard standing car park with space for 4 vans - all taken by the evening. Small cafe serving good food and beer was most welcome. Train runs next to the site so it can be noisy together with the road noise on the other side of the river. Site is clean, very river ok for swimming so plus outweighs the negatives.

Great little stop over on way to Koblenz. Large site, electricity possible as is water and waste. Football pitch opposite so can be noisy but we didn’t stay overnight so not sure what time this stops.

Very small riverside camping close to busy road and railway line so very noisy. Campers squeezed in so limited privacy. Facilities spotless but at additional cost and limited time. 2 showers and 3 toilets for men, same for women serves whole site which is no way near enough. Such a pity as great potential and location is spot on with great views of the surrounding vineyards.

Perfect location for getting the train into Cologne which is a short walk and then only 20 mins 3 stops and you are at the cathedral. The site is quiet and has space for at least 4 campers but the car park is huge so room for many more. Use of the facilities at the Aquapark is a real plus as is the electric points 1 Euro 2kw and water 1 Euro 100L. Would definitely come here again if in the area.
