Mormoiron CP: The terrain is very uneven. Moreover, it is not maintained at all. Crooked, uneven, unmown. Leveling it is a challenge. Toilet block: dirty and not cleaned. There is no trash can. A shame, because it is a beautiful spot. At the restaurant at the “Adventure Parc”, delicious pinsas, also for takeaway.

Walking routes 6, 12, and 15 km. Bird hide 500 m after departure. The 6 km route is beautiful. Through old landscape. A stretch of hornbeam forest. Very varied. The first part of the 12 km route is nice. But three-quarters of it is along a cart track through the forest. Great for walkers and the bird sounds. And a stretch along the road. Quite boring, though. At approx. three km along the road to the right of the CP is a bird hide. The 15 km route joins in from the 6 km route at the 12 km route. So the last and largest part is also boring. Great CP!

It is scandalous that this is on Campercontact! You have to make a reservation, done. You get there, and everything is full of dilapidated campers! And permanent residents.

Because of the rave reviews, we stopped here while traveling through. Unfortunately, it's now a construction site with trucks, excavators, and the like driving back and forth from 7:30 a.m. The municipality should have closed the place temporarily. So, avoid it for now! Once the construction is over, it'll probably be a nice place again.

This is a well-maintained campsite with a beautiful view of the Tarn valley and the surrounding mountains. The managers Annette and Hans give you a warm welcome and are there for you in case of a problem. Great that Hans was able to quickly and provisionally repair a defect in our camper with a lot of creativity! (In the meantime it has been permanently resolved.) Many thanks!

If you set the navigation system to the indicated address Rue des Écoles in Garat you really do not get to this service place. It is not located in Garat at all, but in Dirac, 7 km away. You can also spend the night there and it is listed separately as a motorhome pitch in Campercontact. This service place can therefore be removed. (All this not to be confused with Dignac which is a little further away where too is a motorhome with service.)

Not recommended. When we arrived, three of the four places were occupied by "permanent" residents with campers who had apparently made their last kilometers in the meantime. We were kicked out of the only free spot by those present, beer in hand. The resident of that place was out for dinner but would soon return to reclaim "his" place. We didn't stay, that goes without saying.

Please note: access from the village of Ouilly-le-Vicomte via the Rue de Eglise is not possible for motorhomes due to a maximum headroom of 2.40 metres. Access via D58.

Three level pitches for motorcaravans, adjoining a car park mainly used by walkers, cyclists and visitors to the café-restaurant with Biergarten in the former station building. Old track is now a walking/cycling path. Apart from "normal" ambient noise, quiet and also safe. No facilities except bins and benches.
