Phenomenal view over the Lac de Serre Poncon. Small and simple campsite with a small swimming lake next to it. Good base for mountain walks. Disadvantage for campers: you are not just in a village / supermarket and on a normal bicycle is the climb to the Tour de France campsite worthy ....

Nice campsite on the banks of the Saar. Nice to splash in warm weather or to throw out a fishing rod. Quiet even in high season and plenty of places. From the campsite you can cycle to Trier in approximately 1.15 am. Beautiful along the banks of the Saar and Moselle.

Nice campsite with large places. Nice area in Vosges between the vineyards. Brand new plumbing. Campsite closed in the afternoon (only open at 2.30 pm), we stood in front of a closed barrier.

Beautiful campsite on a river in the middle of the Swiss Alps (beautiful view). Friendly welcome and we were allowed to find a place on the cozy lawn. Many hiking options. The village is not that much. Facilities fine.

This campsite gets a 10 for the view. The camp site itself is a bit faded glory and could use some refurbishment. Too expensive for what it is. Showers are way too hot. You come to this campsite through a series of adventurous tunnels. Do not be put off by the maximum dimensions: with green light that does not apply and you can easily go through it with a camper.

In high season it can be very busy here, then the campsite would not be worth 8, but in April we have one of the most beautiful places on the lake without a reservation. You can visit the town from the campsite, walk and cycle around the lake. Near the station, you are in the center of Milan in 1.5 hours. No hot water to wash off (showers nice and hot).

Beautiful place with views over the mountains. A bit hilly, so just search for a place to stand. Many hiking options. We have a nice 2-hour walk in Visnau (15 minutes by bike) ('Promenade Wanderweg, white signs, start at tourist office) with a fabulous view of the lake. Camping price is lower than stated here. We paid around 22 euros and thought it was worth it!

Pearl! Very cute campsite in the yard of a most charming farmer (tip: buy a home-brewed beer). We were just after a busy Easter weekend (end of April) with only 1 other camper on the grass among the fruit trees. Nice walk from the campsite to the top of a nearby mountain. To do this, follow the purple route signs (around 4 hours round trip).

Great campsite as a stopover and for visiting Freiburg (10 minutes by bike), but even in the low season (end of April) very cabin. Camping has good facilities but lacks charm. You are very close to each other.

Great campsite, right on the river. Nice to cycle through the area. You can cycle a long way along the river, with an excellent signposted cycle path. Camping is fairly simple, but neat.
