Wonderful campsite! Beautifully landscaped and at the same time fully equipped. Nice, quiet camping spots in the green for van / small camper. Low-traffic terrain. Free choice of seats. Relaxed owners and very nice atmosphere. Various places to sit by a wood fire with a book, beer, etc. Beers, organic limo and sandwiches available. Living-conservatory with wood stove, kettle, books, games. Price €14 p.p. Electricity €4. Was €3

This campsite is CLOSED - closed? The website was not working, but I went to check it out myself (was on my route and I was looking for a campsite in this area). Now (end of July 23) there are only signs with FORBIDDEN ACCESS. It is a pity that the campsite has been discontinued because the location seemed fine to me and all campsites in the area are very full due to the Formula 1 weekend. Tip: Camping Hertogenwald usually has space for those who can do without electricity

Great 'camper camping' with lots of greenery, own grass strip, quiet. Fine combination v rural and outskirts. 500 m shopping center and Leeuwarden center 3 km, everything close by certainly with a bicycle. Campercamping separate from the normal camping with all facilities except shower & dishes, that is possible in the old farm (so a bit older & simple, good hot water, unlimited). Reception in order, just polite

Was here in May, liked very well, stayed several days. Places a / h water the most beautiful: view & 'garden' with grass. Super sanitary, everything nice and clean (port card via vending machine). Friendly harbor master, also likes to give tourist info. Giethoorn itself of course touristy but certainly worthwhile. Beautiful cycling i / d environment. Price / card fine if you stay more than 1 night (then you consume € 3)

Beautiful, quiet motorhome with magnificent views. You feel like you're in a foreign hilly landscape. Fine walking / cycling and IJsselmeer also close (<1km). Owners camp themselves: everything is thought of, everything well cared for & attractive. Also picnic tables & fire place! Pipowagen gives extra atmosphere & great solution. Everything goes very smoothly, money can be put in an envelope. Second time here.

Cold spring but very warm, despite late arrivals. Human, dog and camp-friendly camping. Special prize for solo's: € 11,50 and so is therefore included, shower, TB etc. Sanitary clean clean. Cozy dishwasher / dining area with even a microwave! Nice, spacious places, optionally on field m wood or opener field; View everywhere beautiful. For the 2nd time here with reason.
