No warm welcome, very surly and very curt. You are shown your pitch number, given a coin for the barrier and a map, and told nothing else. Saturday 14:00, check-in earlier is not possible, want to get meat and bread is not possible, closed from 12:00 so certainly not for campers. You have to take into account a very sloping field here; your tow bar rests on the ground otherwise your leveling system won't work. Sanitary facilities very messy. One night, no more.

Historic top location. Very narrow access road past the castle through a narrow street to the campsite. It is one-way traffic. Very spacious open grounds. Reception is friendly and staffed from 16:30 to 18:30. If you arrive before that time (for a pre-booked pitch), your pitch number is indicated on a board. Sanitary facilities are all very neat and clean, but there is no toilet paper. The town center, including the museums, is within walking distance.

The campsite is open. Hard surface. Below the castle and on the edge of a historic center with museums. To Camping du Chateau.

Yes, this place gets the ultimate 5 stars from us, and you really have to experience it yourself because it is a lovely, quiet, low-stimulus, well-maintained place where caravans and campers are welcome. Najomi and Michel are super sweet people and their children and animals provide a bit of a lively atmosphere 😁☺️ There is a small gourmet menu available; Najomi loves to cook for you at a very low rate. The tap water is drinking water. Super. 😉😄🙂
