Also for our 16.5 Ton heavy 4x4 this is a great place with dry weather. Stay next to the stable where the slope slopes upwards if it starts to rain. This is very hard lawn. Then the chance of damage to the lawn is small if it still becomes very soggy. With a 7.5 m drain hose and our tanks at about 4.5 mtr from the back, we managed to empty the toilet tank. There is a long drain for the gray water. Recommended!!

Indeed. Emptying the toilet is looking for when you are on the other side. Look for a large red cube near the bridge. There on the side of the harbor basin you will find the option to empty your toilet behind the red cube. With rinse. Drinking water is available at the specified location. Be careful that your GPS from the west side highway does not cross the gray colored road in Google Maps over 7 km with a 3.5 / 4.5 ton camper going up here. Oncoming traffic not possible, no alternative option on the last 2 km. At least 20 ° slope. Loose gravel on the road. Our 7.5m 4.5 ton 2 wheel drive had almost become a problem. DO NOT GO HERE WITH WET STREETS. Our SYGIC navigation set to truck sent us here

Closed until April 2021. Too bad !! It looks nice. The owner came out to report this. He risks a fine of 1000 Euro he said, but I think he wants to wait for the Corona pandemic.

Great place to stand for a few days. All facilities are fine. Only empty the toilet. The automatic play starts to work 15 seconds after emptying. Do not go in front, but stand next to that thick waste pipe. Prefer to take another step back. It is under a lot of pressure and the rinse water also spies out. On the way to town, immediately after going up the stairs, a red / white walking route starts. That is a tour that comes out behind the cemetery.

At the beginning of the village take the one-way road diagonally up to the left. See photo. Up to the end 10 to 15% incline with one sharp V-bend that you cannot achieve in one go with a 7.5m motorhome. Make a wide turn and then back again. NO AMENITIES !! Everything closed. Down it is possible at the V curve to go straight ahead to the right. But first explore the situation on foot. Upstairs is the start of a walking route.

Our GPS sent us into one city gate and after some bends sent out the other gate. Because there was one description "CP next to city wall", I imagined myself in the good (payable) parking lot. But no amenities. In the evening looked around again. And yes, it is diagonally opposite. free and loos and tap possibility. Beautiful city. Recommended.

Quiet place. For the walkers: Walk to the main road, turn left until you see the walker sign. Cross the street and keep going straight until the next sign. (Turn right) Stiff climbing about 6km up the mountain. Toilet discharge presumably into the left well, covered with a plate. Is not entirely clear. It is possible to discharge waste water and get drinking water on board.

Anyone who likes to be surrounded by nature is in the right place here. Too bad we're only here one night. (In transit) But this campsite is among my favorites.

Dirty water drainage is not here. But if you empty the toilet in the Sanitary column, you can do the same with the dirty water. Drain with a bucket. The automatic sliding door remains open long enough (after throwing in 1 Euro) to discharge one hundred liters. A very quiet place for overnight. Saving enough 1 Euro coins, the Mastercard bank card, or whatever (unless EC is on it) does not work.

The driveway has now been tackled. Therefore now a great overnight place. And the bus to Madrid is not too far. The owner is a bus driver. He can therefore tell you all about the departure times.

Stayed here for five days. No real walking routes in the area. Water is not (yet) connected. The tower clock will take some getting used to. Peacefully quiet. We were all alone here. Spar and bakery nearby.

Yesterday it was rain and a strong wind, force Bf 7. Breaking waves on the ocean. The camper with its nose in the wind. We only thought it was wonderful with this bad weather. But no, it even became (too) busy. Cars drove back and forth until 9 p.m. Photos were taken in daylight of flowing hair and jacket buildings. At dark we wondered why they stopped there except for a couple in love ......

When you arrive, drive past the waste water discharge point and turn left at the second entrance. The first entrance on the left is a driving ban. If you are going to discharge water first, you can already see where you need to be, looking towards the lock. Parking spaces are 5.5 m long. Only in a few places it is possible to utilize the length behind the wheels over the grass. Beautiful place.

If you come from Portugal, then it is possible that your GPS will guide you across the reservoir dam. The dam road is approximately 2.8 wide (I estimate) on both sides of a 2.35 m camper than 20 cm space. On this road to the dam over several kilometers, a camper van does not have to arrive from the other side. You cannot evade. We were lucky. No traffic. A beautiful place indeed.

This is indeed a good place to explore Lisbon. But the description says: Space for 10 Campers. That is not true. There can be forty. Access is also no problem for our 8.25 m motorhome. The manager told that everything since Oct. 2019 has been improved. By bus: turn right at the entrance, turn right at the end of the street and cross the main street. Take 728 or 781

End of November 2019. We have been here for 15 days with the permission of the town hall. Always pay per three days. (max. nights 3!) Really a beautiful place as a starting point for long (mountain) walks or mountain bikes tours. Walk to the roundabout, keep left and then continue straight, you walk out of the village to the mountains. Then go left with a big arc around the walled meadows.

December 7, 2019. The driveway is indeed a crime. With our 7.5m plus bicycle carrier on the towbar we got stuck. Disassembled bicycle carrier and then it worked. But driving up slowly with 4.5 tons is bad for the clutch of the machine. Owner is nice and helpful. Sainitair is fine. A nice area for walking. See Area recreiva de Valdezarza.
