It's supposed to be open until October 1st. Then you arrive on September 29th and there's a cheerful note: "Closed, we'll be open again next spring." Report that to Campercontact! That's terrible! You'll have already driven down a very narrow road and have to try to turn around! Thanks.

A true hippie campsite, but quite pricey. For one night (2 people and electricity), we paid €38.50.

Positive: the electricity works. But that's the only thing. For 24 hours, you pay €44! Outrageous for a parking lot. The water doesn't work. Last year, we paid €10 for 24 hours, which is reasonable for what's being rented. €44 is a complete scandal.

At the Ghol gas station you stand in front of the green gate and then someone comes who opens the gate, you get the key and.....then you can stand there! The name in CC is not correct. You will not find it. It is called Parking Rivera. (Google Maps as navigation) The parking is located on a very busy industrial estate and is exactly what you would expect from a parking on an industrial estate: a mess, dirty sinks, but hot water. The connection to the center of Malaga is easy to do with the metro. The metro is located behind the gas station opposite. (you have to walk a bit)

What a fantastic campsite. Wonderfully quiet, exactly what we were looking for! Hostess Esther is visible at exactly the right times, has a chat and moves on. No question is too much for her, everything will be solved. Open the bar in the afternoon and chat with the other guests. A relief after all those mega campsites along the coast! In March 2021 we have reserved a place at this campsite. The reservation is confirmed, with the note: “You will receive a link to pay 14 days in advance.” We never received the link despite calling. The campsite turned out to have made a mistake in the e-mail address. instead of to solve their mistake, we were treated rudely and we could stand somewhere at the back, even though the reserved spot was just free.

The restaurant has an excellent kitchen. Not extensive, but good. The camper place is very busy, especially Friday and Saturday. Then there are always motor home owners who leave their motor home far from the neighbor, but just not far enough so that you can still get in between! Very anti-social!
