Looks firmly closed with no evidence of being opened this season (2025)

Excellent site with ACSI discount at €21 including electricity. Ideal for those who love birds and other wildlife (52 bird species in 1km square in 4 days). Slightly sloping open grassy site, with large level pitches in the shade on edge of woodland. Hosts are extremely helpful and positive. Very clean, modern sanitary facilities. Peace and tranquility on the border with Portugal, near the Douro. Ideal location for walking, cycling and relaxing.

Lovely site, excellent situation for visiting the Amazon of Europe, with great cycling opportunities in the surrounding area. Cycling into Serbia is certainly an interesting experience. 8 good level gravel pitches. Very steep narrow entrance area-OK for smaller campervans. Pay in the Wine Tastery up the road opposite site. Good clean sanitary facilities and outside seating area. Small amount of road noise, more obvious in pitches closer to road.

Amazing peaceful site overlooking a private cove, with excellent clear water swimming. Quite a steep slope in the lower section and some sloping pitches. Some pitches have sea views. Pitches are quite spacious. First Class sanitary facilities similar to that in a hotel! With ACSI card €25 a night including electricity. Closes early October so if you arrive then, phone to confirm it’s still open.

Spacious pitches which varied in price from €28 to €32 per night including electricity with ACSI card. Very clean facilities with great showers. Road noise was significant in the lower priced section in the trees, so we chose a more expensive pitch near the lake-well worth the extra! Beautiful views, lovely wildlife including a boardwalk through the nearby reed bed for €5 per person. Good for cycling around the lake, track best for mountain bikes

Ok for one night. Expensive area and at 23 Euros without electricity for a van <8 metres and 2 people this was the cheapest in the area. 28 Euros for >8metres. Electricity charged at €0.6 per KWH. Some music noise from nearby which went on to about 2am and a small amount of traffic noise, but didn’t affect sleeping as we were at the far end of the site. Lots of places available of average size. Not really any lakeside views.

Ok for an overnight stay. Overlooking a fishing lake on the outskirts of town. Free power ( not used) WC disposal point, recycling, waste and two working taps. Parking on gravel beside road around lake. If parking on grass it can be soft so check beforehand.

The owners, Peter and Jacquie are so helpful and make your stay as relaxing as could be. The site is superb, with spacious pitches and full of wildlife. All facilities are available, though you’re advised that the water is not suitable for drinking. The site is ideally placed for a Birdwatching walk around El Fondo or Santa Pola, but it had 27 species heard/seen on the site too! Recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment. Hope to return soon

Now €10 for 24 hours, payable on entry with credit card, which gives you an entry code to unlock the barrier. Good site, with fairly level, spacious pitches, overlooking the lake. Possible noise at weekends/holidays from children using the play park, which the site also overlooks. 30 minutes drive from Roscoff ferry port.
Sitecode: 54154
Tranquil location with good sized level pitches surrounding a lake. Price includes electric, water and waste. You pay for a 24 hour period. Suggest you allow plenty of time to check in if you haven’t been to a Camping-Car-Park site before(this one of 350 sites) as it’s a complex process. Scan your card and drive CLOSE to barrier! Motorhome facilities open from 1st April to 30th September but washing facilities open from 25th May to 25th September.

Ideal location for cycling and walking, with some amazing butterflies in the campsite, forest and the nearby Recycling Centre! Well sheltered location. Sanitary facilities clean, but a little dated. Helpful campsite owner. Would definitely stay again for location, walks and wildlife.

Stunning views and a massive field, with recycling on site. Well signposted through the village after the two parking areas, (SatNav takes you to the wrong location so follow the signs). The local village obviously cares about its visitors. Highly Recommended for the hilltop views and peaceful location.

Arrived at 8pm to find entrance gate locked, even though there were campervans on the site. Reception closed, so rang bell above reception bell and a lady popped her head out of the window from the flat above and shouted ‘we are closed!’ Avoid this place if you expect a warm welcome!

It would have potentially been a 4 or 5 star, however there were at least 30 travellers vehicles and accompanied dog barking etc. in the adjacent playing field, so we moved on.

Easy to register with credit card and press P for park. €6 is good value including toilet disposal. Wonderful views over surrounding area. Spacious and quiet even on a Bank holiday weekend. Local walks through lavender and Thyme fields down to a field full of butterflies. Some dog noise from owners who can’t train their dogs but otherwise very tranquil location.

Ideal location for those campers with a full tank of water and topped up battery as no facilities. Perfect for 1 or 2 nights if you are birdwatchers as we saw 72 species in a morning. Site is now 600 metres before the visitors centre in separate large car park in between signs stating Área destinada para pernocta. You must register for your stay (Free) at the Visitors Centre (open until 18:30 in Winter) before you stop for the night-Max. 6 vans.

Very disappointing. We’ve been here for many years as it’s ideally located to see the wildlife in the surrounding area, but is now sadly over-commercialised, with ‘terraced’ chalets along the length of the site (100 Euros a night in March) ‘static’ caravans with plastic awnings and sandy access tracks that turn to mud in the rain. Some parts of the site are ok, (ask) but it’s over-priced. Book your electric unplugging to save waiting next day!

Amazing, quiet overnight stop with White Storks nests all around and a huge car park in which to choose your own site. Pay 5 Euros at the Restaurant for the privilege of being ’at one’ with nature. 72 bird species seen on the walkways and by the lake in 24 hours.

The owners gave us a friendly welcome with several information sheets and the WiFi code. The site is well positioned on top of a hill with lovely views over the surrounding area. Lots of local walks nearby and very peaceful. The site is well planned with plenty of space on each plot. Highly recommended.

On the edge of a village, though full when we arrived (4 vans parked already at 7.40pm) extra parking for 4 vehicles marked out opposite on roadside. Slight amount of local traffic but nothing to worry about. Guardian Civil saw us parked by roadside and drove past so obviously the roadside parking is accepted. Lovely old village with superbly renovated river bridge access and large riverine park.
Sitecode: 21143
Quiet spot on the edge of small village. Slight traffic noise first thing from workers going to work but didn’t wake us up. Waste disposal worked ok.
Sitecode: 64463
Last time we stayed in 2020 it had water, unfortunately they have now removed the tap-see photo taken October 2021. Such a shame as it’s a great site, if a little sloping.

Reality check! Just spent a noisy night here, road noise, then noise from night club in Aigues. Campground owners are very pleasant and give you an allocated plot 5.5m wide, similar to a wide space in a car park. Aire is surrounded by settling ponds, processing sewerage, so expect mozzies. ok for a night stay on route if you need a secure gated compound. Wouldn’t recommend.
Sitecode: 60811
The campsite owners couldn’t be more helpful and work hard to keep the site in excellent condition. Large pitches, very good value for money with plenty of space. Suitable for both long and short stay. Slight traffic noise - A75, but quiet otherwise, roads ideal for cycling, with some along a disused railway (very rubbly track East of site but good West). Great site to explore local birdwatching places with Chough & Griffon Vultures overhead.
Sitecode: 59104
On arrival swam in the superbly warm, deserted swimming pool-pity it closed the next day (24/9) and it would have been useful if the lady at Reception had told us. Excellent campsite for exploring the birds in the surrounding area, including Little and Barn Owls at La Dive and White Storks at St Denis. Great area for cycling. Wifi expensive (€5 per day) 4G ok. Quiet site- no traffic noise, though it was out of season. Would definitely come again.

This is close to the busy road, on a bare earth site and has no amenities. There is a FAR BETTER SITE 2 km East of here at 36.308308 -5.722786 called Area Recreativa El Celemin. This has picnic tables, car parking on a firm terrain, walks and a drinking push button tap by the walkway to the west of the lower car park. It is off the main road and very peaceful.

Very welcoming site on the edge of the village. All facilities including washing machine available. Modern and clean with level pitches -well organised. Good local walks. Friendly owners. Ideal for campervans and campers. Close to Melnik and Greek border.
