Quiet spot at the parking lot under trees. It is a good place to park 4 campers. Correct address: Appelhofstrasse 6 Ascheberg. You will easily spot the signs indicating the camper spots. It is nice that the municipality is making space for overnight stays.
Sitecode: 7944
Tickets can be purchased for 10 euros per day using a debit card at a machine on the premises. The site is clean, with 12 power hook-ups (0.50 per kWh). Spacious pitches; we had a quiet night. The service station is located on the side of the site. We did not find any flushing water for emptying the toilet. A large park borders the site, along which you can walk out of the village. Bakker is situated uphill.
Sitecode: 512
Great campsite, we stayed there for 1 night. Prices are on the website. We didn't hear the freight train at night. Great sanitary facilities, although you do have to climb quite a few stairs, also for washing up. Very hot water for washing up. Showers don't require coins. We didn't see any permanently occupied pitches at this campsite. Quiet campsite with a snack bar and restaurant/café on site.
Sitecode: 12084
Parking is located behind the swimming pool's parking lot. Follow the P sign 50m up the steep path. Then a sharp right turn leads to a semi-paved parking area. Not suitable for large campers. Quiet spot, among trees. There is a supermarket and petrol station in the village. No amenities. There is a public footbath at the swimming pool's parking lot.
Sitecode: 97547
Fine free spot. Indeed a nice view. You can hear the main road. The spots are slightly sloped. No facilities.
Sitecode: 66172
For the low price (17 euros for 2 adults with a camper without electricity), we didn't expect a nice atmosphere for this price. The owner is nice and helpful. The sanitary facilities are clean, although some shower heads are loose. Showering costs 0.50 euros per 2 minutes, and hot water for washing dishes costs 0.10 euros for a good full basin of hot water. A fine campsite for one night to recharge everything.
Sitecode: 64925
Day ticket valid until midnight, costs 5 euros. Parking is slightly sloped. No facilities. Heavy traffic on the access road because the road on the other side of the mountain is closed. Not all photos are of the spot at the top; the village of Poppenhausen is located lower down the mountain. The photo of the campers in the snow is accurate, though.
Sitecode: 9098
Quiet, level camper pitch. We were the only ones here. There are 5 power hook-ups available, one is permanently used by the neighbors. Clean spot with a covered bench and waste bins. The service station is further down the road opposite the playground. The baker in the village is the 2025 World Champion; definitely worth a visit.
Sitecode: 365
Quiet campsite; call the number on the board upon arrival. Arrival before 8 PM. You will be assigned a pitch number. The campsite is located behind the swimming pool. Sun and shade.
Sitecode: 11985
Overnight stays are not permitted here, but parking is allowed between 8 am and 10 pm.
Sitecode: 72053
It is the hiking car park to the right of the road, 3 km from Brotterode-Trusetal. Quiet and clean car park. There are no signs indicating that it is a campervan site.
Sitecode: 54966
Very quiet campsite. A special field for motorhomes with small pitches for half the campsite price. All campsite facilities are close by. There is also a place to empty and fill water specifically for motorhomes. You can go hiking or cycling in the forest directly from the campsite. Showers cost 1 euro, a good washing machine 4 euros. At the campsite, you have a SEP key for showers and washing. We had to get used to that; you only get one key.
Sitecode: 106636
Great spot for 5 euros per night. Wohnmobilstellplatz Trusetall in Maps is the correct address. Electricity works, 8 hook-ups. We didn't use any other facilities. Level pitches. Had a quiet night. You can hear the Sound Path during the day. The Trusetal waterfall is within walking distance. Do not leave any "rubbish" outside; there are raccoons in the area.

This camper park is closed

Quiet spot, the camping pitches are flat and semi-paved, resembling a former parking lot. Friendly owner. Sanitary facilities are clean; there is 1 shower available for ladies and 1 for men. Not lockable, operated with a sign: occupied. Simple “campsite”, the price reflects that. Call before arrival, then the owner will come to the reception. There is a bakery and supermarket in Fambach (10-minute drive).

Perfect campsite, super nice owner. Very helpful. We stayed here for 3 nights in a very quiet spot. About 30 euros per night. Shady spots under the trees. Clean sanitary facilities. Beautiful, quite large and clean swimming pool. Washing machine available and guest house open from 5 pm (space where you can sit 🪑). Beautiful walks or bike rides directly from the campsite. And eggs for sale from their own free-range chickens. Supermarket 5 km away.
Sitecode: 101996
Very pleasant campsite, very nice and helpful owners. With a good restaurant and a bread roll service. We enjoyed our 2-night stay here. A number of pitches have shade from trees. The sanitary facilities are clean, though a bit dated. The hot water is fine. Showers don't require coins 😊. There is a washing machine and dryer for 3 euros. We did not see a water disposal point for motorhomes. There is a toilet emptying facility, though.
Sitecode: 12930
Great free spot, plenty of spaces, electricity and water. The parking lot is located next to the railway tracks, so the noise is not too bad. Parking spaces are situated along a bike path, not directly on a main road. The last part of the access route is signposted.
Sitecode: 2818
Great free spot. We stayed here for 1 night. A quiet night; you can barely hear the main road from the industrial estate. Electricity is paid, but we didn't use it. There is also a station for emptying water and the toilet. The pitches slope slightly because it is a large parking lot. It is very nice that this camper builder has made a section of the site available.
Sitecode: 18318
Great free spot next to the sports fields. Under trees, on a very quiet little street. Nothing wrong with it.
Sitecode: 55369
Free power from 3 available plugs. When we were there, the construction contractor had placed 2 appliances on one of the camper spots. The night was quiet. There is a small trash can next to the camper spot.
Sitecode: 12945
Great, quiet, free spot next to a large parking lot. The sun rises behind the trees, so there is still shade in the morning. You are allowed to stay for 3 nights.
Sitecode: 101655
Great free spot for 2 small campers (max 3.5 tonnes) on the edge of the village. Restaurant within walking distance. The spots are clean and reasonably level. We are grateful for the hospitality of the village. You are allowed to stay for 1 night.
Sitecode: 102342
Great free spot. 3 specially constructed, spacious, level pitches with tiles and fine gravel. There is also plenty of space on the grass under a few trees. Large bins for glass, paper, and general waste. You can hear the highway, but we didn't find it disturbing. Had a quiet night. Nice takeaway restaurants a 5-minute drive or 15-minute bike ride away.
Sitecode: 109746
Very neat campsite, nice owner. Shows us very clearly where we can pitch our tent, choice of various spots. Swimming opportunity in a clean natural pond. Clean sanitary facilities. The shower is quite a walk because it is a long campsite with many permanent pitches. New washing machine available. Showers and washing machine use tokens that you get from the owner. Shower time on 1 token is about 10 minutes. Lovely warm water.
Sitecode: 2851
The layout of the spots is divided, as we understood it. There are 3 reasonably angled spots near the power pole and 3 straighter spots next to the electric car parking spaces. The latter are under trees. The water steps are currently out of use. Great quiet spot in a park with a playground. There is a good picnic table.
Sitecode: 110942
The campsite and the swimming pool are closed due to renovation. No facilities are available at the moment.
Sitecode: 109882
The layout is messy and the owner is not very helpful. The campsite is next to a football field. Sanitary facilities are clean. Hot water is fine. We stayed here for 1 night. You can walk straight into the forest from the campsite. There is no tap for clean and grey water for campers. Payment: 20 euros in cash without a receipt to the owner, who is just driving around in his car...
Sitecode: 54513
Quiet campsite, sanitary facilities are outdated but clean. Hot water works fine. Good shower, 4 minutes for 0.50 cents. There is 1 semi-paved spot for a camper. Payment was a bit strange, in a messy room with beer and a smoking owner (elderly). The price was 26.50 euros including electricity and 2 dogs. There is also a washing machine and dryer available.
Sitecode: 2997
Nice, quiet, level, free spot. There are large bins for separated waste. There are 2 picnic tables at the 3 camper pitches.
Sitecode: 44347
Beautiful spot along the stream. Quiet surroundings and level pitch. A wading area has been created in the stream and swimming is permitted. Supermarket a 15-minute walk away.
Sitecode: 47621
Super quiet campsite, nice and helpful manager. The sanitary facilities are fine, good hot water without coins. Call ahead and there will be a note for your pitch if you arrive during the lunch break (12-3 pm). There is a new washing machine and dryer available that is easy to operate via an app. Payment (3.60 euros) is also made via the app. You can go for good walks directly from the campsite.
Sitecode: 109732
Quiet spot, costs are currently 7 euros per night and 3 euros for electricity per day. You have a nice view from the camper pitch, with a picnic table and playground next to it. There is an information board with shops, restaurants, and the like nearby. Payment is in cash in an envelope in the mailbox at the power point.
Sitecode: 158225
Nothing to add to the previous reviews. The view is truly fantastic. Very friendly welcome. The sanitary facilities are clean. There is still some construction going on. Delicious wine from the Mosel for sale. The pitches are a bit sloping, but we have had much worse sloping spots. There are a few leveling blocks available at the campsite.
Sitecode: 98807
Great spot, quiet next to a park with a playground. Pitches 8 through 11 are grass, the others are paved. Booking is easy via the website. During the 2 nights we stayed, all pitches were occupied (it was Ascension Day). Free use of a clean toilet 100 meters away. Payment is cash via envelope.
Sitecode: 158999
Clean spot, level pitches. Had a quiet night. The address is correct. Great place for a stopover and a short walk.
Sitecode: 3958
Had a quiet and safe night; airplane noise is really not that bad. Electricity 2 euros, 4 hook-ups. Water 2 euros. No other amenities. Overnight stay costs only 8 euros. Nice owners.
Sitecode: 765
The spots are level, and the parking lot is clean. Power is available at a service station and charges by the token per hour. Charging time is a maximum of 3 hours. We didn't use it, so we don't know if it works. You're in the middle of a city, so there's a lot of activity. The bakery is, of course, close by.
Sitecode: 3596
Beautiful, level spot with a fantastic view. Check in at the campsite reception; the electricity bill works with a €0.50 coin. A very quiet night, and the owners are very friendly.
Sitecode: 25685
Great free parking in a quiet village with a historic center, 3 km from the highway. A village shop with very friendly staff is a 3-minute walk away. We are grateful for the hospitality of the village of Klausen.
Sitecode: 104111
Great spot for a quiet overnight stay. The pitches are a bit skewed. For a free pitch, it's clean and in excellent condition. We're grateful for Mettmann's hospitality. The pitches are behind the sports fields, past the P for the sports complex, drive all the way to the sharp left turn. After that, you'll see five pitches reserved for campers. You can park there for 48 hours.
Sitecode: 47495
great free quiet place for 1 night.
Sitecode: 97118
Note: The price for an overnight stay with a campervan and electricity is 25 euros. The price listed in the app is for cyclists/hikers with a tent. The pitches are indeed skewed. The shower is good and warm, and the campsite is quiet. The restrooms are clean. The swimming pool is 1 meter deep, perfect for cooling off on a hot summer day.
Sitecode: 72948
Drinking water has been disconnected due to misuse. Toilet and wastewater disposal is free. Toilet use is permitted during store opening hours. Very friendly owners, excellent service. Noisy during the day due to shop activity, quiet at night.
Sitecode: 109785
If you turn onto the sandy path near the blue camping sign, you'll find yourself at a heavenly grassy campsite, behind the restaurant. We had a wonderfully peaceful night. The sanitary facilities are clean, and the shower is free. Electricity is included, which is €19. The owners are friendly and helpful and speak Dutch.
Sitecode: 5594
The camper site is closed. There are red posts in front of the entrance.
Sitecode: 99136
Quiet spot, but in the morning you can hear the military exercises (starting at 10 a.m.). The restrooms are outdated, but clean. If you shower more than three times, the hot water runs out. Otherwise, the spot is great, with straight pitches.
Sitecode: 65140
Note: The price is 150 kroner, which is 20 euros. There is one combined shower and toilet for 8 campers. The toilet/shower was often occupied when we were there with 8 campers. The electricity is good, and the shower is hot. We had a peaceful night.
Sitecode: 160044
Straight pitches, clean restrooms, and plenty of hot water. Very friendly owner, and we had a peaceful night's sleep. Beautiful view over the fields. We'd love to come back; it's not far from the highway to Flensburg.
Sitecode: 12122
Very quiet, washing machine 20 kroner, dryer 20 kroner, shower 4 minutes 10 kroner. There's a shared kitchen, brand new. Very hot water. Walking from the campsite is easy. Cash and card payments accepted; they come to your chosen spot. Very friendly owner. Super nice campsite; we booked an extra night.
Sitecode: 11582
Lots of flies around the horses and a manure pile 30 meters away. We couldn't find a toilet to empty, and we couldn't contact the owners. Free showers and toilets are in the building near the horse arena. The location is right on the road, with only local traffic. We had a quiet night.
Sitecode: 9939
Slept well, loading and unloading early in the morning (7 a.m.) from the neighboring company. One free shower and toilet, open 24 hours a day. There's a sign at the side of the 48-hour campervan sites. Not new, but clean. Toilet and wastewater disposal is also available there. Free water refills are also available. Great spot for the price.
Sitecode: 70415
A warm and friendly welcome. Showers cost 5 kroner for 5 minutes. Washing machine costs 40 kroner per load. Dryer costs 60 kroner per load. Clean restrooms and access to the swimming pool. Quiet campsite, with a shop and restaurant nearby.
Sitecode: 159048
Wonderfully quiet, all amenities are excellent. There's no electricity. There's a well to empty the water, refill with a hose, and a lovely hot shower with a covered, heated seating area. The owners are very friendly.
Sitecode: 99439
Very nice place, clean toilet, hot and cold water. Beautiful view and quiet.
Sitecode: 101846
Nice flat camper spot. Clean sanitary facilities. Quiet area, had a good night. Sometimes you hear a plane from Rotterdam Airport. No planes at night. Nice walk in the country estate De Tempel, 20 meters from the camper spot. Nice owners, good place to sleep and starting point for visiting Delft and Rotterdam.
Sitecode: 54321
Super quiet camper place, no traffic noise. Directly from the place a super beautiful and quiet nature walk of 6 km. We could walk further if we wanted. We were allowed to leave at the end of the afternoon for the price of 1 night. Very nice owners, neat straight and clean places. We stood on grass without electricity and the price was 10 euros for 1 night. There are also paved places with electricity.
Sitecode: 8232
Good place, clean sanitary facilities. Shower costs 1 euro and is nice and warm. About 40 places between beech hedge with power supply. The rest is open field. Quiet night, traffic noise is absolutely not annoying. Park manager comes by, cash payment. You must put the receipt behind your windshield as proof. We are happy with this place, 1 hour drive from the Sauerland. There we always had to stand on camper places without facilities.
Sitecode: 104265
Great free spot, quiet night. In the evening until half past nine a lot of sportsmen driving in and out. The area is clean, the places are flat and straight.
Sitecode: 7721
Great place for 1 night. Places are clean and straight. Swimming pool entrance 5 euros, heated pools. Hot shower costs a coin. Toilet emptying is free, there is no sink. There is a water and electricity pole. 1.5 kW costs 1 euro and 10 min. water costs 1 euro. There is a garbage bin at the place.
Sitecode: 29815
Nice quiet place. Access is opposite the conference center, drive under colored arches and then right at the back in the parking lot. Lovely quiet, super spot
Sitecode: 101619
Great camper place. Very sheltered and quiet, good sanitary facilities. Good hot shower. Very nice owner. Unfortunately we could not walk the clog path 400m from the camper place, dogs are not allowed on this path.
Sitecode: 104419
Super nice camper place, good flat spots. Very quiet. Good hot water for washing up and showering. Nice shop with lots of regional products: wine, vegetables, potatoes, eggs from their own chickens and meat from their own free-range pigs. Very hospitable, we enjoyed staying there for 2 nights. From the camper place you walk straight into the forest.
Sitecode: 103090
Price is 7.50 euros for an unmown and very uneven field without facilities. The area is quiet, hence the 2 stars
Sitecode: 64583
Nice owner, quiet night. The road is only for local car traffic. Great place, everything is there and works, also the Free wifi. Places are right next to the cowshed. Toilet discharge is at the house 200 meters further.
Sitecode: 109880
Nice camping boss. Call the campsite number at the entrance, then gain access. Check the owner's website for accessibility. Sanitary facilities are clean, swimming pool entrance included, also shower. Costs 2 people less than 15 euros. Pitches are under large oak trees, not suitable for large campers.
Sitecode: 81167
Very quiet night on reserved lane in parking lot in residential area. Very hospitable from this municipality 👍
Sitecode: 105347
super nice owners, are campers themselves. This camper place is their hobby, and you notice that in everything. Very hospitable, we feel very welcome. We would definitely like to come back for the homemade cakes and coffee in the covered party tent.
Sitecode: 98159
super nice well maintained place. clean sanitary facilities and good free shower and WiFi. everything is there: walking and cycling routes, sandwich service on Friday and Saturday. pay in cash via envelope. owner's mobile number is present
