Great for a trip to the Cinque Terre. With the bus for 1.50 € you can quickly get to the train station, from where the train goes to the Cinque Terre. Very nice people. If you are out and about all day anyway, you can stay overnight there well and cheaply.

A weekend trip can quickly become a negative experience. The staff is neither able to speak to you in the normal tone, nor to act in a service - and customer - oriented manner. Not to mention insults to other guests. You won't see me again.
