As is customary in Scotland, our Volkswagen van was given a spacious pitch among a large number of white campervans. Beautiful sea views, right on the coast. Lovely sandy beach. The restrooms were small, very convenient! The Wi-Fi was terrible, only available in reception. It's a nice town with a cozy pub and shops. The bike ride to Burghead is worthwhile.

Unique location, right on the sea with views of the Orkney Islands. Small village, not much to do. It does have a nice pub, the northernmost in Scotland! The peaceful surroundings are perfect for long bike rides. The restrooms are clean, but the Wi-Fi is spotty.

Spacious, friendly, and cluttered campsite. A very friendly welcome. A large grassy field in the center, with tents and other tents, children playing with their parents barbecuing. Around the field are spacious paved areas for campers. The sanitary facilities are clean, but insufficient for the number of guests. Shops and takeaways are within walking distance. The Wi-Fi is spotty. Urquhart Castle is nearby, well worth a visit.

No reception when booking online, the barrier opens automatically. You then choose your own nice, spacious pitch. Clean sanitary facilities, well-maintained grounds, quiet campsite. Poor Wi-Fi. We took a lovely bike ride along Loch Lomond, following the reception's recommendation. A great spot for stand-up paddleboarding and canoeing enthusiasts.

Busy campsite, quite noisy, but it was peak season. Neat and comfortable sanitary facilities. A 15-minute bike ride from Edinburgh city center. A pleasant welcome.

Beautiful location on the Sûre River, clean sanitary facilities, but far too few when the campsite is full. Spacious pitches, plenty of shade. Sadly, the former hospitality has vanished. The new owners look at their work as if it were forced labor. Not a single spark of warmth. It's a shame, though, because you really want to feel welcome.

Lovely campsite directly on the Wallersee, nice swimming. Beautiful cycle routes, including to Salzburg, but hilly. Beautiful sanitary facilities, cosy restaurant with large terrace. Free WiFi, only at reception and restaurant. Bread roll service. Super friendly reception. Spacious pitches, but limited in number. Quiet campsite, very child-friendly.

Nice terraced campsite, sufficient shade, large swimming pool. WiFi only at reception. Clean, modern sanitary facilities and washing facilities. Excellent cycle route to Vaduz. Friendly reception. Not cheap.

Very hospitable welcome. Nice bar with outdoor restaurant. Swimming pool. Fantastic cycling opportunities on beautiful cycle paths to Mulhouse, Basel and Germany. Clean, modern sanitary facilities, no toilet paper. We stayed there for 4 nights, lots of enjoyment for a low price.

We have been coming to Gritt for 30 years, the new manager since this season has modernized a few things. And it was already so good! Nice and clean sanitary facilities, spacious pitches, beautiful surroundings for walking, cycling and a terrace. Good camping restaurant, fresh croissants and sandwiches every morning. Various activities in high season. An area for improvement is the WiFi, but that is being worked on. We paid 23.50 with ACSI discount.

Clean, modern and spacious sanitary facilities, no toilet paper. Excellent WiFi. Very warm welcome. Nice terrace and restaurant. Quiet grounds, spacious pitches. Beautiful cycling environment, especially the cycle path to Mulhouse is beautiful. We paid 41.40 all in for 2 nights. Recommended!

Indeed, the place is beautiful, the village of Barga is fantastic. But the sanitary facilities are completely inadequate, 1 toilet and 2 (paid) showers for about 30 campers, so say 60 people. We came at Easter, unfortunately no wine tasting and no snacks. Drove through after 1 night, paid 15 euros without electricity.

Two nights, together 44 euros. Wonderfully relaxed campsite, if you like a bit of chaos. Messy, but clean sanitary facilities. Cozy bar-pizzeria, where you can buy fresh croissants in the morning. Nice view over the lake. Super friendly owner, old hippie.

Beautiful spot on the terrace by the sea. Friendly reception. Neat sanitary facilities, hot shower. Very cozy restaurant, excellent food, live music, free drinks. We paid 29 euros including electricity.

At the end of March, we were the only guests. Super friendly welcome by proud owner, who gave an extensive tour. Beautiful place in orchard, with electricity and water. Simple but clean sanitary facilities, the new extension will be ready in mid-May and will be beautiful! Swimming pool and bar not yet open. WiFi at the campsite was broken, but we were allowed to use the owner's private WiFi. Cycling to Mostar in half an hour. We paid 46 euros for 2 nights.

We stayed at this campsite for 4 nights. Excellent location, 10 minutes by bike to the center. Spacious pitches, enough shade. Super clean and luxurious sanitary facilities. Very friendly reception. Swimming pool and supermarket not yet open. We paid 30 euros per night, including tourist tax and ACSI discount.

Everything is great here. Beautiful surroundings, ideal for walking and cycling. Green, large, shady pitches. Beautifully decorated grounds. Within walking distance a village with a cozy restaurant, pub, terrace, bakery, shop. Super friendly welcome by Dutch owners. Fantastic facilities, new, clean, beautiful and luxurious sanitary facilities. Good Wi-Fi. And all that for 27 euros per night, including electricity. Worth six stars!

Location fantastic, staff friendly, the rest is bad. You walk to the beach in 2 minutes, you cycle along the sea to Porto in 30 minutes. It is busy at the campsite, confusing, there are no real places, you are crammed in somewhere. The plumbing is bad, half of the toilets are broken, the other half are dirty. The whole feels like a neglected trailer park. Bad Wi-Fi. Small consolation, only 17 euros per night.

We were here for 3 nights in early April. Town of Tordesillas, within walking distance, is highly recommended. Sanitary facilities are beautiful, spacious, comfortable and very clean. Friendly staff at reception and in the camping shop. Pitches are not very spacious, but there is a lot of greenery. Wi-Fi was very good. We paid all-in 26.50 per night.

We were here on March 31 in bad weather. Enough space, so large place on the lawn. Sanitary facilities are cramped and outdated, no toilet paper, no heating. Very friendly welcome and a cozy restaurant on the campsite. Compared to the 4 previous campsites during our trip, this place was the lowest quality for the highest price, 29 euros.

Beautiful campsite, choice of large or smaller pitches. Part of the sanitary facilities were still closed at the end of March, the building that was open was very busy. Sanitary facilities were a bit dated and cramped. There is a beautiful lake on the campsite, probably great for swimming in the summer. We paid 27 euros for 1 night, large place with electricity.

We were here for 2 nights at the end of March. Great place to visit Bordeaux from here by bike or to explore the wine region. Friendly, professional welcome. Small place, fortunately with a hedge as a separation. Very spacious, comfortable and clean sanitary facilities. Wash (dish) indoors. There is a shop and a restaurant. We paid 21 euros per night including electricity and hot shower.

We were here at the end of March. Very spacious place, choose yourself. Friendly reception. Very quiet environment. Sanitary facilities were freshly painted, clean and comfortable. Washing dishes inside, very nice when it is 3 degrees outside. With an ACSI discount we paid 17 euros for a camper, 2 people and electricity.

Very nice campsite, located in a historic town. We were there at the end of March, very cold. Friendly reception. Clean sanitary facilities, simple but neat. Reasonably spacious place, separated by trees. We paid 21 euros including electricity and hot shower.

We spent the night here on the way to and from Slovenia. The campsite was hibernating, no reception open, you could fill in a form and put it in the mailbox with 25 euros in an envelope. Sanitary was also half open, men and women in the same room. Everything very clean, great hot showers. Nice kitchen area, so wash up inside. The area is beautiful, we will definitely stay here longer in spring or summer.

Excellent campsite within walking distance of town. Nice Christmas market when we were there. Good value for money.
Sitecode: 28440
Great place for an overnight stay while traveling through. Dirt cheap, 10 euros. You will be given the key to the building with separate ladies and gents toilets and a large sink with hot and cold water. No shower. Pitch with electricity between the barns with tractors. Nice and quiet. On departure we bought delicious wine with the change.

Rarely seen such a spacious and clean sanitary facility! Friendly welcome, beautiful pool, beautiful surroundings in the historic wine region of Slovenia. Pool was open, restaurant closed. Minus: motorhome is next to the road, noise from traffic. We paid 25 euros all-in in mid-October.
