Agree with the only other review from June last year. No sign of any location or facilities. A good reason to remove this site from the app.

We are here now, have been several times in the past few years and have always been highly impressed with the facilities. The check-in procedure is much improved thanks to a multilingual touch screen, the old machine had its own mind and made payment difficult. Some reviews complain about the new barrier but it worked perfectly for us. We didn't know it's now possible to book in advance - always a nervous time in the past, would there be room ???

Update October 2024: some reviews have complained about the cleanliness of the toilet facilities. We are here now and they are all amazingly clean, no complaints at all. Toilet, shower and washing machine for โฌ9.50 seems remarkably good value to me, especially as it includes electricity. You need your access code to get into the toilet block, but that prevents people who are not staying here from using it.

Perfect for an overnight stay if you donโt need any facilities (the sanistation is still out of order). We decided against the several lakeside locations that were crowded and found this place purely by chance. We even have our own private garden! Restaurants within walking distance but we decided to eat in tonight.

We were here in 2020 during the pandemic and have returned to find it still excellent, convenient and spacious.. All facilities are free and the town centre is a few steps away. I would happily pay a small charge if electricity was available, but for an overnight stop itโs perfect.

We are here now (July 2023) and it is an excellent location. Friendly staff who speak French, Dutch, English and German. Although high season itโs not crowded and the ambiance is relaxed - even with many children here. Restaurant, pools, shade and activities. Remember itโs a naturist site, which might not appeal to everyone, but itโs perfect for shorter or longer stays. Being naturist and Dutch-run is a guarantee of high standards and quality.

The electricity seems to be cut off for the winter, so I didnโt pay for the overnight stay - I even wasted a euro in the machine further on that took coins. I stayed there in August and everything was fine - even if itโs not the most elegant part of the city. I tried to phone the harbour master but got no reply. Now expecting a fine for non-payment!

Many earlier reviews are correct, this is a 2022 update: still an excellent site and in a great location. Not too busy even in August. Ticket machine accepts credit cards, but electricity still needs 50 cent coins. WiFi now free and efficient. One of the best camper sites we have stayed on. We came for one night, we are now in our 3rd, and if we can find some more 50c coins, weโll stay longer!

Much better than we expected. Do not be discouraged by the untidy car park that you drive through to get to the site. location perfect, walking distance to town centre, an excellent supermarket close by, quiet at night and even free toilets. Good showers for โฌ0,50. The only negative point; like so many sites in Germany you can only pay with an EC card from a German bank, or with coins. Take plenty of โฌ2 coins with you.

We have a camper van and donโt normally use campsites, but this was a wonderful surprise. Sure, it was very quiet but the owners were very welcoming and gave us the freedom of the site! Toilet facilities are excellent, clean and included in the price (no horrible SEP cards), and Iโm sure that when itโs busier it will have a great atmosphere. Very impressed that they have offered temporary accommodation to a family from Ukraine.

We came for one night and stayed for three! Itโs an idyllic spot if you just want to crash out and relax. Wonderful owners who make you feel very welcome - even had a meal brought to our motorhome! l OK, the facilities are basic but clean. The noisy road next to the site is quite at night. Highly recommend!!

Itโs not the place you would want to spend a holiday, but this is an excellent facility and I must compliment the person who has set it up. Finding the entrance is not easy (on a very busy road) but the GPS coordinates are accurate. Toilet facilities are the best I have seen for a long time, there is free WiFi and it is safe and secure. Very friendly owner/manager and I wish him every success. We need more sites like this.

itโs not at all clear whether this place really is a motorhome park - and if so, whether it is free as this app suggests. There are no signs to indicate this, and we were the only motorhome there in August. You pay for car parking but no mention of motorhomes. But the location is excellent, right next to the citadel. I would happily pay a few euros to park there - even more if they offered electricity. A great location.

Do not be deterred by the name โCaravan Parkโ, this is a small site for max. 10 campers, not a huge and busy campsite. immaculately clean and well kept, one toilet/shower but even in high season it is not busy. Very low-tech check in, you put โฌ20 in a box and display the paper slip behind your windscreen, so be sure to have the correct cash ready. Stunning location surrounded by mountains and forests with plenty of walks.
