Simply a really nice place to stay. Away from the busy, overcrowded campsites, riddled with bells and whistles. Back to nature, peace, and quiet.

A little gem with an amazing view.

Great campsite! There was plenty of room in June without needing to reserve. Ring the doorbell at the house, and someone will come to the front door.

Pleasant, small campsite to stay at. Be sure to book in advance! Right next to the campsite there is also a nice eatery (reservations can also be made online) for breakfast/lunch. Spacious pitches!

Great campsite! Stayed here on the outward/return journey, as the first/last campsite before/after the train. Beautiful campsite, spacious pitches, clean campsite with plenty of staff keeping an eye on things.

Great campsite! It depends on which spot you book; some places are better than others. Ideal for an overnight stay before taking the train to England.

Well, we must have been unlucky, judging by the previous comments. We have been in England for almost four weeks now and have slept at a different campsite almost every night, but this campsite is the noisiest of them all. The screaming went on well past midnight—I saw three o'clock on my watch. A group of children and their leaders were screaming their heads off, with large groups standing close together everywhere. Such a shame!

It was all friendliness when you entered the reception! We had a beautiful, large spot by a small river, partly paved and partly grass. Highly recommended! ⭐️
