The parking space is located just outside Duderstadt but is otherwise fine. The town center is about 1.2 km away and shops are about 500 m away, both within walking distance. At €10 per night, it's acceptable. However, paying for the electricity at the power stations with a card is very complicated and doesn't always work!

The parking spaces are relatively small. Public toilets are available, but only until 7 pm. Otherwise, the parking area is just a few minutes' walk from the old town.

Good overnight parking spot with electricity and waste disposal. Firm gravel parking area directly on the Wertach river. Short walk to the city center or S-Bahn (suburban train).

A great free spot with electricity and waste disposal to browse the motorhomes and caravans (at least 500 units) of all types and manufacturers at the dealer opposite, and even take a look inside. The sales staff are very friendly and competent. There's also a small bistro on site. Plus, a store where you can stock up on camping equipment. De

A nice central location for exploring the surrounding area and its sights on foot or by bicycle. However, it's quite expensive (€16) for what's offered. Electricity now costs €1/kWh. Although that's not entirely accurate. I disconnected the motorhome from the electricity before visiting the Externsteine. And the meter reading still decreased! So, in my opinion, it's a complete rip-off.
