Nice quiet location beside the river. Short walk into town along the river bank. Public toilets and fresh water on site. Had a peaceful nights sleep. Caution for large motorhomes. Our sat nav took us in a decent route but tried to put us onto a narrow cobbled road on the way out. Got the hint when the oncoming traffic were beeping their horns and waving. All good fun. Quick turnaround and all good.

Great set up for 3 euro per night electricity, however I can guarantee you won’t get on a pitch if you are over 7.5 metres long. The kerb at the back is too high for any overhang. We have a longer van and tried to no avail earlier today, however there is a great free park up with no electric hookup on the field area at the bottom of the hill under the bridges. Lovely place and would recommend coming here.
